C1732 Unwilling to Listen to the Bstard's Chanting!

In the Annihilation Nebula's Ionodios, Lin Daoke's arrival had ensnared all the Otherkin warriors and the Boulderdawn and Chamber of Commerce cultivators.

At first, some were unaware of the situation at the Starway and sought to procure exotic magic items and pills through the merchant guild for teleportation. However, once word spread that the Sword Sect had sealed the area, no extraterrestrial forces dared to venture forth. No one wished to be constrained by the Sword Sect, nor did they possess the courage to confront Lin Daoke.

Boulderdawn members, like Jiang Miaojie, endured an agonizing wait for the return of Taishi and the other God-Kings to extricate the thorn that was Lin Daoke. Yet, Taishi and his cohort were nowhere to be seen, and the Starway had fallen eerily quiet.

"I wonder how things are in the Everlands," Jiang Miaojie mused, her bright eyes and radiant smile shadowed by concern as she stood behind Taixu, gazing towards the Starway and the unmoving figure of Lin Daoke. "Without new arrivals, we're cut off from the outside world. I fear for Hei Xun and Youqian; they might be singled out by Han Miaoyuan and systematically eliminated."

"Yu Yuan is there," Taixu reassured her in a gentle tone.

"Yu Yuan?" The name sparked surprise not only in Jiang Miaojie but also among the other Boulderdawn disciples and elders.

They were congregated in the heart of Ionodios, surrounded by structures erected by the Chamber of Commerce, where many trapped individuals continued their transactions.

They couldn't fathom why Taixu, a God-King, placed such faith in Yu Yuan, even believing he could alter the course of events. "Yes, he's likely addressing the situation in the Everlands," Taixu said with a serene confidence. "Don't worry too much. His power is far greater than you imagine. I trust that the issues in the Everlands will be resolved through his efforts."

"You really have faith in Mr. Hong," Yue Mu, known as the "Rillrender Sword," remarked with a low chuckle as he emerged from a palace peddling unique stones. Observing the Boulderdawn members seated quietly on the white jade square, he quipped, "Can Mr. Hong alone really stir up a tempest in the Everlands? Perhaps the Boulderdawn Sect is being a tad too naive and overly optimistic."

Since everyone was trapped and the sect master was at the Starway, Yue Mu leisurely strolled through the marketplace, purchasing any rare treasures he fancied with soulstones.

Over the past few days, he had indeed selected numerous exotic and precious items from the displays at the merchants' guild.

To Yue Mu, Yu Yuan was still Hong Qi from the Order of Healing, the revered sect master who shared a profound connection with Ji Ningshuang. Thus, he continued to respectfully refer to him as Mr. Hong.

"Are we being naive? You just need to wait for news," Taixu retorted with a snort.

"Wait for news? Ha, how long has it been already? Who dares to use the teleportation circle to come here from the Everlands? The Shadowkin and the leaders of the Shadowkin and the Enchantress seem to have arrived at the Annihilation Nebula, but do they dare to venture into Ionodios?" Yue Mu scoffed.

Taixu offered no rebuttal.

Yue Mu's words left the rest of the Boulderdawn Sect and the Chamber of Commerce members at a loss for words, unable to counter his argument.

Indeed, none of the so-called extraterrestrial powerhouses dared to enter after learning that Lin Daoke had sealed Ionodios.

Others also refrained from using the Starway to step into Ionodios, well aware that they were no match for Lin Daoke and unwilling to court disaster.

Several days later...

The long-quiet Starway suddenly sparked with electric light. The nearby Grand Sword Immortals raised their eyebrows, and a surge of sword's will flowed from within them.

Who could it be?

All eyes converged on the Starway, and before long, Hei Xun emerged.

"Hei Xun!"

Taixu's face registered shock as he soared from the palatial squares, calling out toward the Starway, "Hei Xun, have you come from the Everlands? What's the situation there now?"

"The Thunder Sect has fallen, and the Nine Palaces Array of the Ebon Star Sect has been breached. After the array's collapse, Han Miaoyuan was summoned by Yu Yuan for a battle in the extraterrestrial realm," Hei Xun declared with fervor.

Upon hearing these words, the Otherkin and human cultivators remaining in Ionodios were thrown into a commotion.

Atop the Starway, Hei Xun's gaze was fixed on the Grand Sword Immortal seated in meditation.

While Lin Daoke remained with his eyes closed, seemingly oblivious to the news, the faces of other Grand Sword Immortals like Van Heqing and Su Qingmo shifted with concern.

"Yu Yuan?"

"Impossible, right?"

The four Grand Sword Immortals exchanged glances, filled with skepticism about the veracity of Hei Xun's information. They wondered if he was merely trying to lift the spirits of those in Ionodios.

Whoosh!

A wraith materialized in the starry expanse beyond Zekrica. It was none other than Denise, the Starborn miss. With a complex look, she unfurled a veil of starry mist outside Zekrica.

Within the mist, a dense Yin Qi lingered, carrying the scent of the Root of the Lunar Meridian.

The enigmatic mist revealed a series of images: Yu Yuan vanquishing Thunder Sect experts in the Everlands, manifesting the Troll form within the Terror Claws Sect, and wielding sword light within Ebon Star to rip through the Nine Palaces Array.

The Grand Sword Immortals of the Sword Sect, the warriors from various clans in Ionodios, and the folks from Boulderdawn and the Chamber of Commerce felt as though they were witnessing these epic battles firsthand.

Jiang Miaojie's blood surged with excitement as she whispered, "It's really true! It's actually happening!"

"The Spirit Swords and Divine Swords in the Sword Cave are resonating with him!"

"He can wield our Divine Swords!"

"Is that... the Heaven-Opening Sword Array?"

At the mention of the Heaven-Opening Sword Array, Lin Daoke, who had been quiet all this while, suddenly opened his eyes. With a look of bewilderment, he observed the spherical formation of sword light within the Star Mist.

Then, as if invigorated, he became alert.

...

Beyond the Everlands.

Han Miaoyuan continued to speak incessantly about the strife between humans and evilkind, predicting that the Dark Phoenix would eventually stand against all intelligent life, aiming to dominate the beast clans.

With a whoosh, Yu Yuan unleashed a River of Swords, glimmering with traces of Shadow Moon Essence, that surged directly toward Han Miaoyuan, hovering above the Banner of Duality.

Titanblade, Spiritrend!

This sword spell's might was notably enhanced when infused with Shadow Moon Essence.

Yu Yuan had come to realize that the Shadow Moon Essence he had refined from the Root of the Lunar Meridian into his acupoints could potentially pose a threat in the future. To prevent any future complications, he decided to deplete the remaining Shadow Moon Essence.

This way, it wouldn't become a pawn for the Root of the Lunar Meridian to use against him.

"I haven't finished speaking!"

Han Miaoyuan, supporting the Exquisite Pagoda, watched the approaching river of light, the familiar sword's will reminding him of a confrontation with Nie Qingtian.

He gently pushed the Exquisite Pagoda forward, and from within one of its layers, silver pebbles tumbled out.

In the dim starry sky, the River of Swords, born of the Spiritrend, was filled with the gleaming pebbles. Upon contact with the Shadow Moon Essence, they burst into oblivion.

The sword's will within the sword spell was stymied by the pebbles, the sword light unable to penetrate further.

"Hmm!"

Yu Yuan, taken aback, scrutinized the cobblestones Han Miaoyuan had somehow collected and refined. He sensed from them a Dao intent as steadfast as a mountain.

His eyes sparkled with realization as he recognized that these pebbles were once part of the mountains and boulders hewn from the worlds within the distant Extraterrestrial Star River.

Countless mountains and boulders had been effortlessly gathered by Han Miaoyuan, transformed into the Exquisite Pagoda, now serving as his bulwark against adversaries.

"Hear me out!" Han Miaoyuan commanded.

"I have no time for your drivel!"

Yu Yuan sneered, the Dragon Slaying Stage beneath him elongating into a sharp, golden-tipped spear, ready to pierce through any barrier.

"I've been warned about you, Han Miaoyuan. They say you're a master of deception, adept at unsettling minds with your words. When battling a plotter like you, it's best to shut out the noise and focus solely on the task of defeating you."

Boom!

Tiny pebbles shattered under the impact at the Dragon Slaying Stage, only to suddenly revert to their original forms, transforming into bizarre mountains and massive boulders that filled the vast expanse of the starry sky.

The way forward was hopelessly congested. The Exquisite Pagoda in Han Miaoyuan's grasp cast forth a probing light, illuminating the Dragon Slaying Stage.

"No, no dragon corpses!"

Perched atop the Banner of Duality, Han Miaoyuan stared at the Dragon Slaying Stage in astonishment, inhaling deeply before exclaiming, "There's no trace of dragon's breath! What have you done with the corpses of the three Dragon Gods that were hidden within the Dragon Slaying Stage?"

"Impossible!"

"You're still able to teleport without their dragon corpses, even managing to travel directly from the Moonfall Sanctuary to the Thunder Sect! You're clearly still wielding the metal magic of the golden dragon god!"

Han Miaoyuan was utterly baffled.

"The dragon corpses have been returned to the Nagas in the Ashlands, restoring them to their rightful owners," Yu Yuan explained, his voice tinged with amusement.
