C1736 The Boiling Dragon Blood

In the depths of the Ashlands, Loong Jie was compelled to venture to Eiwrone, his heart racing at the sound of Yu Yuan's boisterous laughter. A sense of foreboding washed over him, leaving him with an ominous feeling.

On the gleaming surface of a distant star, a shadowy cave burst forth with a hazy radiance, emanating a suction force aimed squarely at Loong Jie. The rules that governed the Ashlands coiled around him like invisible Chains of Order, binding his human form.

In that moment, Loong Jie understood that the Mysterious Realm, crafted by the Old Titan Spinosaurus and ruled by Yu Yuan, held sway even without his presence. It was not the young creature that he and Zhong Chichen saw as the beacon of hope for the Naga's resurgence.

"It, along with the offspring of your Naga lineage, require your spirit, Loong Jie, to invigorate them," Yu Yuan's voice echoed, piercing through the luminous ring of the Dragon Slaying Stage and reaching Eiwrone, stirring within Loong Jie's soul.

With a heavy sigh, Loong Jie recognized the futility of resistance. Resigned to his fate, he obeyed. The newly born golden dragon god, with a look of dismay, flew toward the cave radiating the faint glow and vanished in an instant.

In the Annihilation Nebula, isolated from Zekrica and Ionodios, a flash of golden lightning materialized, revealing Loong Jie's disgruntled visage. This Dead Star concealed a space tunnel, a secret conduit to Eiwrone within the Ashlands.

The Titanblade, discovered in Zekrica by Zhong Chichen, was transported through this hidden passage to Eiwrone, ultimately falling into Yu Yuan's hands. Upon his arrival, Loong Jie quickly discerned his bearings and set off for Ionodios.

"You really..." The Abyssal Leviathan, observing the unfolding events from Eiwrone, licked its lips with schadenfreude. "I feel for Loong Jie. First, he was buoyed by the Old Lizard's pep talk, and then Yu Yuan dispatched him to Ionodios, to face Lin Daoke's sword! Haha, I do relish a good spectacle!"

The Abyssal Leviathan, uninvolved in the matter, burst into uproarious laughter. However, the elder of the Abyssal Greater Basilisk, a member of the Silverscale Tribe, remained stone-faced and spoke with earnest, "By all accounts, Lin Daoke's sword should be capable of withstanding the attack."

The laughter of the Abyssal Leviathan ceased abruptly. With a furrowed brow, it pondered for a moment before speaking, "Loong Jie has only recently ascended to Dragon God status and lacks the maturity of his ancestors. Lin Daoke's sword, on the other hand, has exceeded the prowess of all Sword Sect masters—it's truly one of a kind."

"Therefore, only a test will reveal the truth," intoned the Abyssal Greater Basilisk gravely.

"Indeed," concurred the Abyssal Leviathan.

...

Elsewhere, Han Miaoyuan, Zu Ann, and Qin Luo stared at Yu Yuan with wide-eyed disbelief, as if they had just witnessed a ghost in the daylight. Their gazes shifted back and forth between Yu Yuan and the prismatic halo atop the Dragon Slaying Stage.

Their astonishment stemmed not from the Abyssal Greater Basilisk's declaration nor the formidable presence of the golden dragon, but from Yu Yuan's mastery over the Ashlands!

Yu Yuan, having unified his Solar Spirit and Lunar Spirit, had effortlessly compelled Loong Jie to enter the space tunnel right before their eyes. He then employed the natural forces of cosmic order to subdue Loong Jie, leaving him no choice but to comply.

How had Yu Yuan achieved such a feat? How had the supreme Titan Spinosaurus, forged within the private domain of the Starry Sky Forbidden Zone, come under Yu Yuan's dominion, granting him unparalleled authority?

To Han Miaoyuan, Zu Ann, and Qin Luo, Yu Yuan's dominion over the Ashlands seemed as if he had become one with its power, akin to Untamed reigning over the Land of Terror, Zu Ann commanding the Skyreach Peak, or Youyu gripping the Land of Terror in his grasp—each a deity within their own realm.

Yet, the Godsblight Marsh and Skyreach Peak were mere specks within the vast Everlands. How could they even begin to compare with the Ashlands? What extraordinary events had transpired for Yu Yuan in the Ashlands to bring about such a dramatic transformation?

"You?" Zu Ann suddenly realized that Youyu's expression remained unchanged, not the least bit startled by Yu Yuan's actions. It was as though he had long grown accustomed to Yu Yuan's formidable control over the Ashlands.

In contrast, the stream where Youyu was located, brimming with sinister Yin Qi, began to churn tumultuously.

"Han, since you have such faith in Lin Daoke, and I too am curious to see if Loong Jie, with his refined Ultimate Golden Body, can withstand Lin Daoke's sword, let's wait and see. Shall we keep an eye on how the sword light fares in Ionodios?"

Yu Yuan's gaze slowly moved to the river teeming with Yin Qi. With a faint smile, he inquired, "Would you mind allowing us a clear view?" He was addressing the Root of the Lunar Meridian.

An unspoken but clearly understood will emanated from the river.

The Root of the Lunar Meridian consented.

Yu Yuan nodded in satisfaction. He set down the Titanblade calmly and refrained from further conversation with the Abyssal Leviathan and the Abyssal Greater Basilisk, instead focusing on the Yin Qi river where Youyu resided.

Han Miaoyuan was the current leader of the Everlands' people, yet Lin Daoke was the spiritual backbone for many, the embodiment of their confidence. They were convinced that no one could withstand Lin Daoke's sword.

Much of Han Miaoyuan's authority was built on the reputation of Lin Daoke's sword, which he held in high regard.

From the merchant guilds to the Ruby Hand, Sword Sect, Sunlit Order, Starmoon Sect, and Forgeroses—any sect from the Everlands grew to recognize Lin Daoke as the pinnacle of human strength.

Without the ability to block Lin Daoke's sword, many challenges would become insurmountable. Even if Han Miaoyuan were to be defeated, as long as he lived, Lin Daoke's sword could reclaim what was lost.

The solemnity of Han Miaoyuan and the rekindling of ancient memories in the Abyssal Greater Basilisk revealed to Yu Yuan a potential outcome.

Perhaps the tenth level golden dragon god could indeed block Lin Daoke's sword.

It was worth a try!

If Loong Jie could hold his ground, it would prove that he could survive Lin Daoke's sword, and many issues would be resolved.

Han Miaoyuan's assurance, Qin Luo's faith, and the armor of the sect's cultivators would all crumble if Loong Jie succeeded.

He was also able to devise a counterstrategy by observing the battle between Loong Jie and Lin Daoke.

...

Whoosh!

In the desolate and icy Annihilation Nebula, Loong Jie transformed into a golden dragon that spanned millions of miles. His golden scales glistened with a cold metallic sheen.

Massive meteors, remnants of warships, and the impurities and storms of the cosmos were effortlessly crushed under Loong Jie's might.

Clang! Clang!

His numerous scales would occasionally flex, as though breathing, producing the crisp sound of metal striking metal.

For some reason, Loong Jie's vast golden eyes initially showed signs of panic and concern.

Yet, as he drew nearer to Ionodios, the chaos and worry in his gaze vanished.

The dragon blood coursing through his veins transformed into molten goldsteel, slowly beginning to boil.

Loong Jie found, to his surprise, that he was becoming increasingly exhilarated!

Within his heart, numerous secret bloodline chains rapidly solidified like golden divine rainbows, stretching towards the Golden Heart and spawning even more arcane blood magic.

In the vastness of space, he could effortlessly harness cosmic energy, siphoning off the forces that would strengthen his draconic form.

The fear that Lin Daoke, the pinnacle of human strength, had instilled in him was actually driving his evolution, enhancing his "Ultimate Golden Body" significantly.

"Loong Jie!"

"Golden dragon god!"

In the Annihilation Nebula, beings from hidden places like Brie of the Shadowkin, Rebecca the enchantress, and the Starborn—Beru, Leo, and Gheirat—were all fixated on the broad expanse of golden divine light.

They witnessed Loong Jie stretching his colossal form within the divine light, his scales radiating an unparalleled might with each breath.

"Loong Jie has truly arrived!"

Yue Mu, Su Qingmo, and the other Grand Sword Immortals of Ionodios also rose to their feet, and after a brief hesitation, they shattered the wall and stepped into the outer Star River.

As Grand Sword Immortals of the Sword Sect, they had the freedom to come and go as they pleased, without fear of retribution from Lin Daoke.

"Is a tenth level Golden Dragon God truly that formidable?" Su Qingmo remarked with a huff.

Their Sect Master was universally recognized as the most powerful among humans.

Lee Sha, Diggs, and the other so-called extraterrestrial powerhouses were all bested by a single sword strike. Lin Daoke, the Voidweaver, and the so-called Uxthar Tree were either slain or gravely wounded with just one slash of his blade.

In their collective memory, aside from the Demon God Bertain, none of the so-called supreme beings from beyond the stars could stand against Lin Daoke.

Having been confined in Sword Prison for many years, this old dragon, notorious for his depravity, was incredibly tasked by the Demon God to confront their Sect Master's sword!

Loong Jie was truly courting death!

"If the rumors hold any truth, Loong Jie's golden dragon form might actually endure a few of our Sect Master's strikes," Van Heqing murmured.

"How many strikes exactly?" Su Qingmo pressed.

Van Heqing just shook his head.
