C1787 Two Dragon Whisperers

Clad in a violet-gold dragon robe, a young man exuding a fierce and domineering aura reached out toward the rainbow-hued archway.

Rip!

Beams of radiant spatial blades held open the gap that was on the verge of sealing. With a sinister smile, he peered inside, squinting his eyes.

"No!"

Zhong Chichen's face turned ashen. He activated his Translocation Circle, attempting to seal the fissure in the archway, fearing that the Supreme Being of Shadow's Keep might discover the Domain Channel he had secretly established through a young Titan Spinosaurus.

Unexpectedly, the youth whom Loong Jie and he had regarded as the beacon of hope for the Nagas, intervened to prevent the gap from closing.

In that instant, Zhong Chichen realized that the young creature, which had devoured the remnants of the Voidweaver, had swiftly assimilated the space magic governed by the butterfly.

Moreover, within the dragon's heart, it had forged a corresponding bloodline chain, thus mastering the space rules.

"I need a clearer view!"

The youth's expression grew stern, disregarding Zhong Chichen's interjection with a cold snort, "Move aside! You and Loong Jie had best not contest my decisions! In my eyes, aside from my deceased father, only the new father before me has any sway over me."

"You, Loong Jie, and all the Nagas of Tyria, just protect me well and obey without question."

The little spinosaurus, now growing larger, displayed its inherent brutality and ferocity, amplified by its burgeoning power.

In the eyes of the youth, no one besides Yu Yuan, who could both constrain him and was responsible for his hatching, deserved his respect.

This included the Demon God Bertain, the Supreme of Shadow's Keep, and other hidden formidable entities.

Zhong Chichen, chastised by the youth, wore a look of mild discomfort but offered no rebuttal. After exchanging a glance with Loong Jie, he willingly stepped back.

Whoosh!

A beam of violet-golden divine light burst forth from the eyes of the little spinosaurus, striking the forcibly maintained fissure, granting Yu Yuan another glimpse into the conflict within the Dark Star Domain.

He witnessed the Dark Deities in their true forms: towering giant apes, Moonfang Tigers spanning the Star River, and green serpents writhing in the blood-red depths, alongside Yu Zhu, whose eight legs, sharp as blades, were slaying an Elder of the Blood Fiends.

A massive violet Divine Throne, akin to a god's palace, bobbed in the Star River.

The Divine Throne, symbolizing the Dark Phoenix, had yet to join the fray, merely advancing towards the Primal Blood Continent with the amassed forces.

Tens of millions of archdemons and alien beasts of the eighth and ninth levels were marshaled by their leaders and beast kings, conquering the domains within the Dark Star.

Subsequently, the Demon Army and a tide of beasts surged towards the Primal Blood Continent like an unstoppable deluge.

In these times, a sinuous violet-gold dragon shadow would frequently emerge on the bloodiest of battlefields.

Seemingly with the Dark Phoenix's silent consent, she voraciously consumed the fallen Blood Fiend clansmen, including the eighth and ninth level alien beasts!

Whether friend or foe, once fallen, they became sustenance for the violet-gold dragon.

Yu Yuan was confounded.

Zhong Chichen and Loong Jie furrowed their brows, baffled by the situation. They couldn't fathom why the other juvenile beast was allowed such unrestrained havoc.

Suddenly, the Dragon Slaying Stage appeared. Yu Yuan's real body, along with Lizard, Abyssal Leviathan, Ji Ningshuang, Dire Bear, and other alien beasts, halted next to the immense, rainbow-hued archway.

It was then that the little spinosaurus, cautious and concerned, ceased its observation.

"Little Titan Spinosaurus?"

The Abyssal Leviathan chuckled darkly, eyeing the young man donned in the violet-gold dragon robe, his gaze filled with ill intent. "He's the spitting image of that old one, and just as irksome. Alas, the old one is truly formidable, and no matter how much he irks me, all I can do is steer clear."

"But you..."

It seemed the Abyssal Leviathan intended to curb his spirit, to dampen his edge and fury, "You're missing a crucial element. Without it merging into your dragon heart, you'll never match up to your father."

Upon hearing this, the old lizard cast a glance at Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit.

The little spinosaurus was missing the favor of Primal Blood, and with it, the most complete understanding of the Secrets of Life.

Only by reaching maturity, consuming Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit, and successfully integrating it could he hope to dominate the Star River and become the fearsome Titan Spinosaurus.

To achieve this, he would need to merge with the complete Secrets of Life and also slay many giant beasts of his own kind.

All three conditions were indispensable.

"My sister isn't as powerful as me yet, but she's growing rapidly."

The little spinosaurus brushed off the mockery and fixed Yu Yuan with a stern gaze, saying, "Dark Phoenix is deliberately nurturing her. You've seen it yourself—Dark Phoenix lets her feed freely! And the ongoing battle in the Dark Star is currently the richest source of energy in the world. If she continues to grow stronger, neither of us will be able to handle the consequences."

"Father, you should really think this through."

With those words, the little spinosaurus plunged back into the depths with a splash.

Throughout the entire encounter, he hadn't exchanged a single word with the Abyssal Leviathan or the Lizard.

In his view, these two elders from his father's era were nothing more than future meals, prey he would hunt down once he reached maturity. He saw no point in wasting words on those fated to die.

"Such deep-seated resentment," Yu Yuan muttered to himself.

The little spinosaurus resented him for not granting absolute freedom, for not allowing him to freely consume the Lizard, the Abyssal Leviathan, and the Secular Bird Queen.

"Father?"

Yu Yuan soared away from the Dragon Slaying Stage, his sword carrying him swiftly. Ji Ningshuang stood with a cold light flickering in her eyes, her presence as formidable as the vast Everlands behind her.

"The life force I've come to understand, the Altar of Rebirth within me, and the vital energy I've provided can all be considered part of his nurturing fluid. And yes, I have indeed supplied him with an abundance of vital energy," Yu Yuan said with a forced chuckle. With the departure of the little spinosaurus, the fissure had rapidly sealed shut.

"Could Dark Phoenix already know?" Loong Jie suddenly asked.

Zhong Chichen gave a wry smile. "With such a commotion and Dark Phoenix's power and awareness, how could we possibly keep it hidden?"

"Why would the Dark Phoenix let another little spinosaurus feed freely? Why is she raising that little spinosaurus? And why would the Untamed, the Moonfang Tiger, and the extraterrestrial beast kings tolerate its feeding? The little spinosaurus is preying on the subordinates of the Moonfang Tiger and those beast kings!"

Loong Jie was baffled. He pondered for a moment but couldn't make sense of it, so he decided to ask outright.

"It's only when they grow up that their hidden bloodlines can be fully unleashed."

The Abyssal Greater Basilisk interjected. He too stood before the massive rainbow archway, having gleaned the situation from their conversation. "Like the Starpierced Armor, these two little spinosauruses from the Ashlands and the Dark Star will only fully display the intricacies of their bloodlines once they've matured."

While speaking, his gaze was fixed intently on Yu Yuan.

Zhong Chichen and Loong Jie, along with the nearby ninth-level giant dragons, all looked at Yu Yuan with suspicion, as if they believed he harbored similar intentions.

He was nurturing this naive yet bullish little spinosaurus. Once it reached maturity and the profound mysteries within its heart's bloodlines emerged, he planned to assimilate it with the Solar Spirit, using it to establish himself as a dominant predator at the apex of a new food chain—much like the Old Titan Spinosaurus.

Deep in the abyssal ocean, the little Titan Spinosaurus, which had transformed from human to draconic form and was previously half-closed in slumber, now snapped its eyes open wide.

Clearly, it could hear the conversation of the people above on the land.

The little Titan Spinosaurus was also closely monitoring the skepticism directed at Yu Yuan, sparked by Lizard's remarks.

"Father..."

He murmured in the depths of the sea, his words a muffled dragon language, his eyes gleaming with significant depth.

"I don't see it that way," Yu Yuan declared, raising his hand.

"Dark Phoenix must think so," Lizard continued to gaze at him, not questioning but stating, "The Untamed, the Moonfang Tiger, and those peak ninth-level alien beasts would only allow the little spinosaurus to feed freely if the Dark Phoenix provided a plausible reason. I guess..."

The Dark Phoenix explained to them that Dark Deities like the Untamed, Green Willow, and Moonfang Tiger sought eternal life. The key for the ninth-level beast kings from beyond the stars to break free from their bloodline constraints lay within the little spinosaurus.

"Just for that reason, they would tacitly permit another little spinosaurus to feast on the remains of the fallen."

"That's exactly why they agreed to join the battle!"

The Abyssal Greater Basilisk, accustomed to wandering the fringes of the cosmos, had insightfully deciphered the Dark Phoenix's intentions and strategies. It shared with everyone the reason she indulged the other little spinosaurus and why the Dark Deities and beast kings turned a blind eye.

Her plan was to nurture the dragon, waiting for the little spinosaurus to grow before consuming it.

The maturation of the little spinosaurus was pivotal not only for the Dark Deities' immortality but also for the beast kings' evolution into Beast Gods.

"When do you intend to head there?"

Ji Ningshuang, eyeing the rainbow-hued arch with curiosity and sensing the subtle spatial undulations within, remarked, "That girl, Lin Zhuyun, has a chill about her that I can detect. The moment I enter the Dark Star, I'll seek her out."

"That girl!"

The Abyssal Leviathan grinned, revealing its formidable teeth, "Ha! I've invested so much effort in nurturing her, extracting her from the Everlands beyond our world, only to inadvertently hand her over to the Dark Phoenix! She has a remarkable gift for harnessing ice energy, but what's truly exceptional is her uncanny luck to always survive."

He had been grooming Lin Zhuyun with an array of resources, hoping she might one day reach the Primal Blood.

As long as the Demon God Bertain remained in this world, he understood that the Dark Phoenix's scheme to conquer the Dark Star would face significant obstacles.

He had once seen a path to the Dark Star, a chance to access the Primal Blood Continent's depths through Lin Zhuyun. Alas, plans are prone to change, and he had been outmaneuvered by the Dark Phoenix, with Lin Zhuyun, his carefully cultivated charge, turning against him.

"Let's not rush this."

Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit rejoined his true form, gesturing for the others to depart as he settled himself on the Dragon Slaying Stage to contemplate alone.

With his palms pressed together at his chest, he channeled Soul Power and vital energy to link with the Dragon Slaying Stage. Brilliant streams of rainbow light burst forth, racing towards the heavens like a galaxy of stars.

Above the wall of the Boundless, the seven-colored light swirled, generating an immense suction force.

On the far side of the Ashlands, distant from the main star of Tyria, Eiwrone was wrenched into motion by his will. It soared across the vast Star River of the Ashlands, covering billions of miles in an instant.

"Eiwrone serves as the linchpin between the Ashlands and the Star River, as well as the Ashlands' most critical outpost," he explained.

Yu Yuan smiled at the gathered crowd and continued, "The Ashlands will gradually open up and welcome more inhabitants. Be they Otherkin, alien beasts, or the cultivators and Terra Fiends from the Everlands."

Zhong Chichen, feeling perplexed, asked, "What exactly are you trying to accomplish?"

"The Ashlands are not the exclusive domain of the Nagas!"
