C1789 The Land of All Races!
Whirling with a huffing sound, thirty-six colossal vortex storms enveloped the pale-golden Tyria, eternally spewing forth cosmic energy into the starry expanse.
Yu Yuan's remnant soul and a strand of his vital energy attempted to penetrate the different vortex storms.
Boom! Boom!
Both his soul consciousness and vital energy were violently repelled by the surging power of the storms.
"How odd," Yu Yuan murmured to himself as he seized the Crucible of Evil and hurled the Titanblade toward two other whirlwinds.
The same scenario unfolded once more.
Both items, recognized as Divine Artifacts renowned in the Everlands and beyond, were expelled the moment they entered the whirlwinds by the forceful cosmic energy.
"Master!"
Yu Yiyi's alarmed cry, along with the shrieks of the Frost Queen and other formidable Banes, echoed like tidal waves from the little world within the cauldron.
Yu Yuan, the true master of the cauldron, could sense their panic and fear.
As the Crucible of Evil was engulfed by the vortex storm, even the mightiest devil souls like those of the Frost Queen and Shadowfox seemed on the verge of being torn asunder.
The Frost Queen, with her human form and scorpion tail, showed cracks in her icy physique in such a brief span!
The Shadowfox, along with Banes like Chebus, wailed in agony as if facing the apocalypse.
"Bizarre! Bizarre!"
The sword spirit also let out a scream, as if it too had detected the immense horror lurking within the vortex storm, a World Destruction Rule capable of annihilating all living creatures and souls.
Swoosh! Swoosh!
Realizing the gravity of the situation, Yu Yuan swiftly retrieved the Crucible of Evil and the Titanblade. After a brief hesitation, he dispatched the Crucible of Evil to a star in the Ashlands, a haven for the Sky Fiend and enchantress, where chaotic Soul Power was ripe for the Frost Queen's recovery and growth.
Once the Divine Sword was back in his grasp, the sword spirit urgently recounted the fearsome power it had felt within the vortex storm, suggesting that no living being with flesh and soul could endure there for long.
Yu Yuan soothed the sword spirit and stowed away the Titanblade, his expression growing increasingly somber.
The thirty-six massive vortex storms, spewing cosmic energy outward, stood in stark contrast to the Maw of Oblivion, under the sway of the Origin Deity.
Recently, the Origin Deity used the Maw of Oblivion he created in an attempt to strip the dense cosmic energy from the Ashlands. This included the various Otherkin worlds connected by Eiwrone, aiming to cement his dominance in the Abyss and compel all Evil Gods to submit to his will and obey his commands.
The Maw of Oblivion absorbed energy, while the whirlpool storms expelled it. When expelled, the remnant souls and vital energy were flushed out, unable to penetrate the core of the whirlpool storm, making it difficult to determine the central point's connections.
Artifacts could exist within the whirlpool storm, but over time, the connection between the soul and the artifact would be severed. I had no doubt that if I continued to immerse the Crucible of Evil and the Titanblade, all the Banes within them, along with Yu Yiyi and the sword spirit, would be completely obliterated. The spiritual and bloodline connections I had with these Divine Artifacts would also inevitably sever at some point.
I would lose both the Crucible of Evil and the Titanblade, and even if I could find them again, without their artifact and sword spirits, they would be stripped of their original wonder. Clearly, the risk outweighed the reward.
As a result, I quickly abandoned the notion of delving deeper into those whirlpool storms using the artifacts and the power of the bloodline.
"I've tried it myself," Zhong Chichen said, having arrived from Tyria in a mere moment and pausing at Eiwrone. "I witnessed the Crucible of Evil and the Titanblade falling and being ejected."
The current leader of the Order of Healing, once known as the Chronowyrm and now garbed in vibrant attire, curled his lips into a mocking smile. "The time and space magic in my bloodline comes from our forebear. It's clear he mastered the forces of time and space, though I'm still unsure how he acquired them."
"So..." Zhong Chichen gestured towards the thirty-six colossal whirlwind storms, "Their origins and the profound meanings they contain are far more formidable than you can imagine. I've attempted to traverse realms with my Dragon Soul, eager to uncover what lies within."
With a bitter laugh, he concluded in a disheartened tone, "Like the Crucible of Evil and the Titanblade, I too was swiftly forced to retreat."
"This relic is truly astonishing."
On the distant planet of Tyria, the Abyssal Greater Basilisk and the Abyssal Leviathan were observing the swirling storms, engaging in their own dialogue.
Yu Yuan, the ruler of this realm, could overhear their conversation through the tumult of the whirlwinds.
He listened for a while.
From the Lizard's remarks, he gathered that the Ashlands, one of the Starry Sky Forbidden Zones, was far more enigmatic than the Thunderbolt Saint Realm, the Wraithlands, or any other so-called forbidden zone.
The distinction lay in the fact that the Thunderbolt Saint Realm, sealed by the Demon God Bertain, contained only singular lightning forces.
The Wraithlands were replete with dense Yin Qi, an ideal haunt for ghosts and spirits.
The Dark Realm was a fusion of darkness and chilling energies.
Yet, in the Ashlands, crafted by the Old Titan Spinosaurus, nearly every known energy within the Star River was present: thunderbolts, ice, darkness, dense Yin Qi, poison, light, sand, and metal.
It was a domain that encapsulated a myriad of energies, all incredibly rich and abundant!
What did this imply?
The Thunder Saint Realm was suited only for beings like Wei Zhuo and the thunder dragon, while the Wraithlands were hospitable to Youyu, along with the spirited bodies of ghosts. The Dark Realm would serve as fertile ground for Ji Ningshuang, Tan Xiaotian, and the Shura.
The Ashlands, however, could accommodate every race within the Star River!
But only those of a certain caliber, at least of the eighth level Otherkin or equivalent alien beasts, could thrive.
This was because the domains within the Ashlands, each a little world unto itself, lacked any form of wall.
The rich and chaotic cosmic energy was omnipresent, and Otherkin below the eighth level would rapidly devolve into Warpbeasts, succumbing to a frenzied state.
Humans below the Solar Spirit, with their frail bodies and limited cultivation, would not last long and would soon perish.
As for mortals...
Without the walls' separation and cleansing, exposure to the Ashlands would mean instantaneous death for any mortal.
"If you intend to open the Ashlands and invite more races, take heed. Without your constant protection and the favor of the Starpierced, Liu Ying's true form would never withstand the Ashlands. Even those humans at the Unbound level would find their physical forms distressed."
"Only the dragons, born with mighty bodies, and the Shura, at the eighth level, are strong enough to adapt to this place."
"However, since this isn't a realm of pure divine force, we must first purify it and find new ways to adapt. What I can see is that, due to the whirlpools and the continuous surge of energy, the Ashlands are destined to become the most concentrated source of magical energy in the entire world."
"If you firmly take control of it, once you regain your peak combat strength, you'll be able to stand against the Dark Phoenix."
"Perhaps even the Demon God Bertain!"
Zhong Chichen seemed to be rallying him.
Yu Yuan gave him a half-smile. "My dear senior brother, when have you ever been so considerate of me? You and Loong Jie ought to be pledging your allegiance to the little spinosaurus in the deep seas of Tyria."
"He refers to you as 'father,'" Zhong Chichen responded, sidestepping the question.
Yu Yuan fell silent, visibly moved as he recalled the young Titan Spinosaurus's reprimands toward Zhong Chichen and Loong Jie.
Zhong Chichen, Loong Jie, and the giant dragons that had migrated from the Everlands genuinely saw this little spinosaurus as the beacon of hope for their race's revival, wholeheartedly nurturing it toward maturity.
Yet...
The inherently ferocious and unruly little spinosaurus seemed not to regard Zhong Chichen and Loong Jie as kin but rather as servants and underlings.
The little spinosaurus might protect them, and once it reached adulthood and underwent its true metamorphosis, it could offer the dragons a nurturing ground.
Nonetheless, the little spinosaurus would always deem Zhong Chichen, Loong Jie, and all the dragons as lesser beings.
They were dragons, born from the lifeblood of the Old Titan in the Everlands, akin to the Titan Spinosaurus. Though they came into existence because of his father, they were not the same as the Old Titan and the Titan Spinosaurus.
Loong Jie and the former Chronowyrm lacked wings, differing in form; they were merely beings derived from a variation of his father's lineage.
He, along with his sister held captive in the Dark Star by the Dark Phoenix, were the true, complete Titan Spinosaurus.
He harbored nothing but thoughts of suppression and assassination towards his sister, and even more so towards Zhong Chichen, with whom he shared only a tenuous blood relation.
"Father..."
Reflecting on this, Yu Yuan's gaze towards Tyria took on a mischievous glint.
This ferocious youngster, inherently brutal, bowed to no supreme being. How genuine, then, could his reference to his own father be?
In an instant.
Beams of light burst forth from the Dragon Slaying Stage, descending into various secluded caverns across Eiwrone, aiding his comprehension of the Otherkin's Astral Domains.
One such beam materialized on a barren, lifeless star within the Annihilation Nebula, the very site where the Titanblade had once arrived.
There stood a figure, as if they had been awaiting his arrival for ages.
"Ah!"
Yu Yuan exhaled softly as a wisp of his Lunar Spirit emerged, gliding through the cavern's depths.
"Typical of you," Taishi remarked with an easy smile, observing the manifested Lunar Spirit Body. "You've nearly completed all the crucial steps of Project New Everlands. The Ashlands, a massive star fit for the cycle of rebirth, the Dragon Slaying Stage, the Titan Spinosaurus!" Taishi's laughter boomed.
"And what of Zhong Chichen?"
After his mirth subsided, the ever-composed Taishi peered towards a cave atop a sheer pinnacle. "In Zagreus, I presented Loong Jie with a generous gift to hasten his refinement of the Ultimate Golden Body. Those two didn't even properly thank me before retreating into the Ashlands."
"He's with my primary form," Yu Yuan answered.
"Oh, so he remains in the Ashlands." Taishi chuckled lightly, adding, "I personally visited the extraterrestrial base camp of Boulderdawn to sway her. Her Divine Throne is now complete, and she's whole, having refined the three branches of the Lunar Meridian."
"Her showdown with Lin Daoke is imminent."
As they conversed, Yu Yuan's Lunar Spirit somehow perceived Soul-Capturing, distant in the Zekrica, peering back at them across the vast expanse of the Star River.
Tianqi arrived, descending from the heavens with a thunderous crash, and proceeded to greet Yu Yuan with a respectful bow.
