C1813 It Continued to Go Crazy

"A woman?"

Zhong Chichen looked utterly bewildered as he gestured toward the Dark Phoenix raging beyond the wall. "The woman you're referring to, could it possibly be her?"

Taishi gave a slight nod in affirmation.

Zhong Chichen's face twisted into a bizarre expression, as if he were on the verge of bursting into laughter but was desperately trying to suppress it. "She's considered a woman? Ha, Taishi, you must be pulling my leg!"

Within the Primal Blood Continent's wall, the Seven-Colored Dragon felt completely at ease. He was free from any mental burden or pressure.

The space rift remained open. He could leave whenever he chose to, without fear of being pursued by the Dark Phoenix.

No matter how formidable the Dark Phoenix was, without the ability to confine him to a specific place, it was powerless against him.

"Back when our Nagas reigned supreme over the Everlands, the Dark Phoenix I knew was sometimes... a 'he.'" Zhong Chichen let out a snicker, unable to contain his amusement. "And you say I don't understand women? Ha, Taishi, do you have any idea how many women adored me during my travels across the Everlands?"

He gracefully ran his hand across his face, adding, "Those women were all smitten by my handsomeness!"

Boom! Boom!

The wall, shrouded in thick ice rock, took a beating from the Dark Phoenix's wings, while the violet-gold spear chipped away, creating holes in the icy barrier.

The Dark Phoenix continued its frenzied assault.

Yet, with the extreme cold from the depths of the Primal Blood Continent, all the ice energy and vitality could be focused on fortifying the wall without the need to seal the spiritual wisdom of the Solar Meridian, making it a formidable challenge for the Dark Phoenix to penetrate.

Taishi, feeling somewhat relieved, addressed the boastful Chronowyrm, "That was in the time of your Naga dominion. Since your demise, from the moment it began to lead the forces of the Everlands, the Dark Phoenix has presented itself in a female form. For many years thereafter, it rarely shifted shape, and the female form became almost permanent."

Zhong Chichen, taken aback, stroked his chin and mused, "You're saying..."

With a disdainful snort, Taishi retorted, "You know nothing about women! If my memory serves me right, you were merely confining numerous young and beautiful women from the Moonlit Wanderers, along with Voidweaver maidens, in the Star River. Not to mention a handful of enchantresses and Sky Fiends."

"Understanding women? You're just toying with them!"

"Seven-Colored Dragon, have you ever truly loved a woman? Do you even know what it feels like to have affection for someone?"

"Your wanton behavior in the extraterrestrial has led the Otherkin's mighty to hunt down every creature emerging from the Everlands. The humans who first arrived in the extraterrestrial realm with the Dark Phoenix have all suffered because of you!"

Taishi scolded him without mincing words.

Zhong Chichen let out a sly chuckle, unabashedly responding, "You don't understand how to enjoy life. All you know is endless fighting, killing, and plotting. Life with someone like you must be utterly dull. Besides, the women from various tribes that I've captured have all genuinely fallen for me. I can't even get rid of them if I tried!"

"You two..."

Reid, the High Priest of the Star-Spawned Terror, coughed and rose above the crowd of Sky Fiends, floating between the two quarreling men. "The Dark Phoenix has gone mad, and Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit is still ensnared by demon energy. Shouldn't you be figuring out how to handle her? Also, if it's not too much trouble..."

Reid glanced at the space rift and continued, "May I request that my people be allowed to traverse the Everlands first? Rest assured, they won't linger. They're headed straight for the Hellmouth."

Reid was at a loss with the intricate dynamics of the Dark Star and uncertain of what the future held.

The frenzied Dark Phoenix appeared determined to shatter the Wall of the Primal Blood Continent. Knowing her as he did, Reid was aware that once the Dark Phoenix set her mind on something, she usually succeeded.

If the Wall were breached and the Dark Phoenix entered again, Reid feared she might even lay waste to the Primal Blood Continent.

Her madness was too severe this time.

"There's no rush. We can evacuate after the Wall is on the brink of collapse," Taishi said, ever the epitome of composure. "Even if you don't trust me or the Seven-Colored Dragon, you should have faith in Yu Yuan. Rest assured, he will find a solution. Just be patient."

Zhong Chichen looked up and called out, "Yu Yuan, you won't be able to stop her with your real body!"

Beyond the Wall.

Wielding the Titanblade, Yu Yuan unleashed a series of crimson sword lights, forming a River of Swords that was repeatedly extinguished by the Dark Phoenix's massive wings. However, at Zhong Chichen's cry, he abruptly ceased his assault.

He began to reflect with a cool head.

Zhong Chichen's words rang true. Without ascending to the highest level, his real body combined with the Titanblade stood no chance against the Dark Phoenix.

Before his arrival on the Primal Blood Continent, he had already given his all at the Star River's boundary.

Back then, even with the assistance of vital energy from the Solar Spirit, he couldn't overcome the Dark Phoenix at a mere thirty percent of its strength.

What hope did he have now?

His attention then shifted to the expansive purple region swathed in demon energy, realizing that no matter how he tried to sense or call out, the deeply ensnared Solar Spirit remained unresponsive.

He couldn't establish contact at all.

"Since contact is impossible, then..."

He didn't hesitate much longer. Noticing more and more breaches forming in the ice rock wall, he recognized that even the extreme cold of the ice energy dispersed within the wall might not hold off the Dark Phoenix for long.

With a swift motion, he hurled the Titanblade, transforming it into a streak of crimson lightning that raced toward the demon energy-enveloped purple zone.

The sword spirit, in tune with his psyche, had borne witness to all external events. Should the Divine Sword plunge into the alien space-time of the demon energy, and the Solar Spirit detect it, the Solar Spirit would immediately grasp what the Dark Phoenix had orchestrated while he was ensnared in the demon energy abyss.

And indeed, that's exactly what happened.

In that isolated otherworldly space-time, Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit, ever vigilant, caught sight of a sudden burst of crimson sword light from another realm.

"Titanblade!"

At the sword's manifestation, the sword spirit's remnant soul surged forth, reaching his sea of consciousness and heart, instantly clarifying the unfolding events.

The Dark Phoenix wasn't lurking in the depths of the demon energy, nor was it gathering strength for a more potent assault.

It was merely trapping his Solar Spirit, seizing the opportunity to confront Ji Ningshuang.

"Insanity!"

Receiving the sword spirit's conveyed message and witnessing Ji Ningshuang's grievous injury at the hands of the Dark Phoenix, followed by her plummet to the Primal Blood Continent, Yu Yuan was immediately consumed by rage.

Ji Ningshuang's unwavering trust and support had been a constant source of strength for him, even to the point of disregarding the stance of the Sword Sect!

In his past life, Yu Yuan had traveled the world with him, aiding in the collection of various spiritual herbs and poisons before he had embarked on the path of cultivation.

But after he had succumbed to bewitchment, his personality underwent a drastic change. Those who once revered and adored him gradually drifted away.

Yet Ji Ningshuang remained steadfast by his side, her loyalty never wavering.

This profound affection welled up within him, slowly but surely kindling Yu Yuan's rage.

"You enjoy stirring up trouble, don't you?"

Amidst the thick, dark purple demon energy, the Titanblade and Baneblade were retracted. There he was, hovering in the Otherworld, as he conjured the Dragon Slaying Stage beneath him.

In his grasp, the Dragon Slaying Stage transformed into a long, razor-sharp weapon!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

As the vast vital energy poured into it, the Dragon Slaying Stage shone with a blinding golden divine light. The vital energy, transformed by the Solar Meridian, sparked like golden lightning across the stage's surface, materializing the metal magic of the golden dragon and revealing its utmost strength.

It even surpassed the might of the golden dragon god from his previous life!

Sizzle! Sizzle!

The brilliant golden light he wielded with the Dragon Slaying Stage shattered every wall in existence.

The piercing golden beams, trapped within an infinite curtain of darkness, sliced through the dense sea of demon energy like a celestial golden cleaver.

On the second tear, bloodline chains snapped, and the Dark Phoenix wailed in agony.

Yu Yuan was taken aback as he clearly saw, deep within the torn sea of demon energy, countless crystalline skeletons, veins as thick as boas, and organs as vast as mountains—all severed.

It was as if a monstrous giant beast had been lurking within the demon energy all along, its presence obscured for years.

Within this behemoth, the essence and vital energy of the Dark Phoenix were pervasive.

"This..."

Yu Yuan had not anticipated such an extraordinary spectacle, and for a moment, he was caught off guard.

In just a fleeting moment, he came to a startling realization.

The majestic Dark Phoenix of the Everlands had likely forged a new and enormous beastly form specifically for him, a form that lay concealed within the dense purple sea.

It seemed to be a freshly minted Cosmic Giant Beast, brought into existence by the Dark Phoenix!

Yet it was still incomplete, imperfect, and in the throes of growth and development.

Amidst the demon energy fissures that had split open on the Dragon Slaying Stage, he witnessed a downpour of purple blood and heard the Dark Phoenix's pained screeches, which allowed him to glimpse the Dark Phoenix in the external world.

Whoosh!

Clutching the Dragon Slaying Stage, he soared out of the viscous purple sea of demon energy. Glancing back, he saw what appeared to be a blurred giant beast tending to its wounds and hurling curses in a frenzy.

The curses, vile and foul, were identical to those of the Dark Phoenix at the wall, and they were all directed at him.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Another Dark Phoenix, no longer preoccupied with Ji Ningshuang behind the wall, lifted her violet gold spear and immediately resumed her intense combat with Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit.

It was as if she feared Yu Yuan would persist in harming the additional beastly body within the demon energy.

"You, you've actually created another..."

While his Solar Spirit clashed with the Dark Phoenix, Yu Yuan's real body stared in astonishment at the roiling demon energy, piecing together his recollections.

Indeed, there was a tangible giant beast with flesh, blood, sinew, bone, and organs hidden within!

Another Dark Phoenix?

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

After his departure, the vast expanse of purple demon energy swiftly departed toward the distant Star River, then, under the watchful eye of Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit, it merged with the Phoenix Shrine.

As if becoming an integral part of the shrine.

The enigmatic Phoenix Shrine trembled slightly before casting a purple glow and soaring off into the far reaches of space.

Rip!

A network of space rifts was rent asunder by the Phoenix Shrine, their destinations unknown.

The Phoenix Shrine, bathed in an ethereal purple aura, emitted a series of enigmatic murmurs, as though issuing commands to a host of alien beasts and archdemons, instructing them on their next course of action.

Confused yet attentive, the archdemons and the beast kings from the extraterrestrial realms gathered around the Untamed God and the Astral Tiger, listening intently and discerning the sounds.

Suddenly, they surged forth in a mighty wave, following the Phoenix Shrine as it took flight.

"I will kill that wretched secular bird!" a piercing voice from another supreme Dark Phoenix echoed from the departing Phoenix Shrine. Judging by the direction of the shrine's movement, it appeared to be heading straight for the Astral Domain, the home of the Wingkind.

"They're all going to die!"
