The long-missing leader of the Everlands suddenly emerged at the entrance to the Ashlands, calling out to Yu Yuan.

"Yu Yuan? Taiyin?"

The shattering of Ji Ningshuang's Solar Spirit and the inexplicable loss of control over her powers were overshadowed by the mere mention of Han Miaoyuan's name.

In an instant, all eyes shifted from Ji Ningshuang to Yu Yuan.

Yu Yuan maintained an angry demeanor, his gaze fixed on Ji Ningshuang as the Solar Spirit continued to fracture, seemingly oblivious to Han Miaoyuan's words.

Zhong Chichen, one of the Dragon Gods, merely furrowed his brow without further reaction.

Loong Jie appeared utterly bewildered, wondering how Han Miaoyuan could be so certain of Yu Yuan's true identity upon his arrival.

Zu Ann and Mo Baichuan couldn't contain their screams.

The Ape, previously agitated and fierce, was instantly pacified by the mention of "Taiyin," and even the thick vital energy naturally emanating from him vanished.

The Ape remained silent, merely glaring at Yu Yuan, his thoughts a mystery to all.

"Is he... the one from the ancient Boulderdawn?"

Mo Baichuan, who had ascended to the highest level with the power of earthfire, flicked the Cosmic Crucible in his hand, landing it on the furnace's lid, unable to conceal his astonishment.

He pointed at Yu Yuan, a flicker of flames dancing around his finger, hinting at the presence of Earthfire's will.

It seemed as though the ultimate flame buried deep within the Everlands sought confirmation through Mo Baichuan, eager to discern the true nature of Yu Yuan.

Earthfire and Primal Soul have been allies since time immemorial, yet the Primal Soul does not divulge all its secrets to Earthfire.

Among such entities, Earthfire is the younger, its sentience and the time it takes to awaken paling in comparison to that of the Primal Soul.

Regardless of the circumstances, it never forgot its mission, always standing unconditionally by the side of the Primal Soul.

Yet, this unwavering loyalty did not hinder its quest to delve deeper into understanding the Primal Soul. What exactly had transpired with Taiyin, Han Miaoyuan, and the other legendary figures of the Everlands in the past?

Surrounded by Ice Shards, Ji Ningshuang, with her eyes emitting a peculiar glow, bore the excruciating pain in her abdomen. "Hong Qi, Yu Yuan, Taiyin? Who are you, really?"

Like the shattering of ice rock, her crystalline Solar Spirit, concealed within the little world of the Golden Sanctum, burst apart completely.

The fragments of the Solar Spirit flew from her body, merging with the frigid Star River that enveloped her, swiftly collected by the Stardust Blade.

The Divine Sword, sentient in its own right, was doing its utmost to repair the damage, hoping to one day reassemble her Solar Spirit Body!

She stifled a groan, feeling the drain of her power and the departure of the intense cold essence.

Yet, the Supreme God's crystalline pillar she had crafted within her Mindscape, solidified by the laws of ice magic, remained intact despite the fracturing of her Solar Spirit.

She fixed her gaze on Yu Yuan, demanding a definitive answer, no longer concerned with the fragmentation of her Solar Spirit Body.

"I am Hong Qi, the very same Hong Qi you've always known! That has not changed, and it never will!"

Yu Yuan gazed at her with a heart full of distress, aware that Han Miaoyuan was the instigator, and the manipulator lurking in the shadows was likely the Primal Soul, tainted by the Abyssal Treasure.

As a supreme entity of the Everlands, Han Miaoyuan lacked the power to instantaneously shatter Ji Ningshuang's Solar Spirit Body.

The shattering was merely a warning and a threat.

If he did not comply, if he refused to send his Solar Spirit deep into the bowels of the Everlands, then Ji Ningshuang's Supreme God status might be the next to fracture.

Yu Yuan cast his gaze upon Zhong Chichen, Loong Jie, Mo Baichuan, and Zu Ann, including the Ape that was fiercely suppressing its nature. He felt an oppressive weight in his chest, a pressure that was almost suffocating.

Kaiya had discerned the truth and sensed impending doom, choosing to relinquish her divine status and essence willingly.

The Astral Tiger and Yu Zhu had their essences stripped from them by force.

It appeared that all who had ascended to the Most High from the Everlands' depths, with the exception of the Dark Phoenix, could not evade its verdict on the Primal Soul.

The presence of the Dark Phoenix seemed to allow the Astral Tiger and Yu Zhu to resist its will, partially neutralizing the influence it exerted.

Observing the indifference of the Astral Tiger and Yu Zhu, who failed to act as it desired, it stripped them of their essence.

So, had the actions of Zhong Chichen, Loong Jie, Mo Baichuan, and Zu Ann been subtly influenced by it without their knowledge?

And what of Han Miaoyuan?

His eyes fell upon the Ape, and Yu Yuan could discern an enigmatic psionic power burgeoning within the depths of the Ape's Demon Heart, seemingly infiltrating the Ape bit by bit.

Yu Yuan instantly understood that the Ape was likely to fall under its complete control, becoming a vessel for it to manifest its power—and that would happen soon.

"Mr. Han, if I may inquire... does the fragmentation of Ms. Ji's Solar Spirit have anything to do with you?"

Zu Ann, now youthful and striking in appearance after ascending to the Most High, furrowed his brow, setting aside Yu Yuan's identity and origins for the moment. He declared, "Remember this—she is the Sword Sect's pinnacle! Lin Daoke stands behind her!"

"I'll handle the communication with Lin myself; no need for your concern. Better to focus on your own affairs," Han Miaoyuan responded, gesturing to Zu Ann to calm down and not to make a fuss when he was not fully informed.

Her Solar Spirit's fracture wasn't my doing. Remember, the Everlands we inhabit are governed by a will that transcends all living beings!" He turned to Mo Baichuan and declared, "It is this will that forged the splendor of the Everlands, giving us our magnificent civilization. Your seats as Supreme Gods were also granted by it."

"As Supreme Gods, you are now entitled to be aware of its existence, for it has awakened once again."

"It has instructed me to undertake a task—to beckon Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit back to the Everlands."

"Only by doing so can we permanently neutralize the Dark Phoenix's menace to all beings and eliminate the treacherous Dark Phoenix."

"The primal essence of the reborn Everlands can restore Yu Yuan to the highest echelon, allowing him to be reborn in the guise of the God-King Taiyin. Taishi and Taixu can also recast their divine status using this primal essence."

"Razing Shadow's Keep and reestablishing Boulderdawn's prominence in the Everlands—isn't that what you've all been striving for?"

Han Miaoyuan turned his gaze to Zu Ann, Mo Baichuan, and the silent Untamed.

"It will reclaim the primal essence from which you were born."

After a brief pause, Han Miaoyuan turned to Zu Ann and the Ape, whispering, "The two of you are quite aged."

Implicitly, he was saying that without their primal essence, Zu Ann and the Ape would perish as swiftly as Yuwen Hao.

The Ape, in particular, having lived for eons, would instantly crumble into decayed bones, disintegrating into dust at the slightest breeze.

"I sense it."

Untamed, hands quivering, pulled out his smoke tube and drew in a deep drag, coughing violently from the force.

The Ape pounded his chest with a bare hand, baring his teeth in frustration, "It's a warning, a reminder. I was in the dark before, clueless about what was unfolding. But now, I understand."

The ferocity in the Ape's Demonic Eyes intensified.

"Mr. Han, I am ready to heed your commands. Tell me whom to kill, and it shall be done. My only desire is to... live well. My only wish is not to be stripped of my origin."

He had an epiphany.

The Astral Tiger from Darkpinion and Yu Zhu, who had reached the pinnacle of success, were not killed and left without their origin by Jihui, Tan Xiaotian, and the Secular Bird Queen.

They were forcibly stripped of their origin by Han Miaoyuan, acting on behalf of the will of the Everlands.
