C1882 The Fury of Taishi!

"It's happening again."

Taishi, with his tall stature and handsome features, murmured to himself at the Space-Time Archway.

His deep eyes seemed to pierce through the river of time, transporting him back tens of thousands of years to when he was ambushed by the likes of Han Miaoyuan and Dark Phoenix, those supreme adversaries.

"So, it was because it awoke. It was the one that instructed Han Miaoyuan to bring down my sect."

A look of anguish crossed Taishi's face as he suddenly pieced together many truths.

During the golden age of the Boulderdawn Sect, there were mighty figures like Zu Ann and Mo Baichuan, who had an excellent relationship with the sect and looked to it for guidance.

Yet, when Han Miaoyuan and Dark Phoenix made their move, these individuals unexpectedly switched sides, aligning themselves with Han Miaoyuan.

Since his reawakening, Taishi had been unable to confront those who had turned against the Boulderdawn, unable to ask them why they had betrayed the sect.

The Boulderdawn Sect had done nothing to deserve such treachery!

Now, Taishi finally understood.

Like Mo Baichuan and Zu Ann, those few had their own unspeakable difficulties. If they defied Han Miaoyuan's commands, the will of the Everlands would strip them of their essence.

In that era, those who had reached the pinnacle and attained divinity were mostly of advanced age. Losing their divine status meant death.

They had no choice but to follow in the footsteps of Han Miaoyuan and Dark Phoenix, turning their weapons against the Boulderdawn.

"Heh, I never imagined that after tens of thousands of years, you would attempt this once more."

Taishi's gaze seemed to transcend time itself, seeing the once youthful Han Miaoyuan from ages past, and he nodded with a cold smirk. "You won't win a second time!"

Among the crowd.

Yuan Lianyao, accompanying Zhou Cangmin, watched with a pained look as Yu Yuan and Ji Ningshuang vanished on the Dragon Slaying Stage, feeling a twinge of discomfort.

Yet, she remained silent.

Ann Ziqing, radiant and beautiful, stood next to Taixu and Tianqi, also without uttering a word.

The Will of Everlands stirred as the Divine Throne shattered, and Han Miaoyuan received his commands from afar...

Taishi's demeanor was icy as he continued to listen to the covert messages emanating from the Dragon Slaying Stage, intended for his ears alone. After a moment, he nodded slowly and spoke with a detached tone, "I'll handle it."

Yu Yuan presided over the Abyssal Gate with his Solar Spirit, while his real body entered the Dragon Slaying Stage to assist Ji Ningshuang in reconstructing a new Ice Shard body. Temporarily, he was unable to divide his presence.

He had learned all the hidden details from Yu Yuan, piecing them together with the bizarre events of the past to form his own strategy.

"There's no need for excessive concern. We're not as we once were; we have the Ashlands now. Moreover, the peak warriors from extraterrestrial races are no longer our adversaries," Taishi's words echoed from the Dragon Slaying Stage to the inner worlds.

"Keep an eye on Tan Xiaotian and be mindful of Youyu. Anyone who has forged their divine position with the essence of Everlands and has yet to be deposed could potentially become your foe at a critical juncture."

"Furthermore, Tan Xiaotian and Jihui's collaboration in demolishing the Shadow's Keep in Everlands seems to align with its desires."

"Based on your insights, it might have been corrupted by a rare treasure from the Abyss, which could mean it's now predisposed towards the Abyss."

"Tan Xiaotian is set on venturing into the Abyss, while Jihui is intent on reconstructing the Origin Gate in the Everlands. Their actions seem to be about fostering contact between the Everlands and the Abyss."

"Perhaps, the deeds of Jihui and Tan Xiaotian are precisely what it had hoped for."

In a brief span, Taishi had dissected numerous events, ultimately deducing, "Kaiya severed her origin. After her grievous injuries from the battle with the Titan Spinosaurus and her subsequent awakening, she found it exceedingly challenging to reestablish a soul connection. The Everlands, too, were fortified by the Nagas, the Human Race, Boulderdawn, and the Dark Phoenix."

"Bertain must have harbored doubts as well, which is why he ventured into the Abyss, likely in search of answers."

"I suspect that the Abyss's rare treasure has merged with the Primal Soul, and its power is gradually eroding and overtaking the Primal Soul from within the depths of the earth."

"Perhaps the power of the rare treasure exists deep within the Everlands, carrying the breath of the Abyss!"

Upon hearing this, Yu Yuan, the guardian of the Abyssal Gate, was deeply shaken.

"Zhou You, lead the way for me to the entrance of the Ashlands."

Taishi squinted his eyes and beckoned the youthful Taixu to his side, "Come with me. We're going to have a talk with Han."

Taixu glided over.

At this moment, Taishi's presence unsettled all the powerful beings on Tyria. The colors that flickered in his eyes and across his face hinted at a concealed madness.

Boom!

From deep within the earth, the massive bronze coffin began to ascend.

Once Taishi motioned for Zhou You to approach, he smiled and said, "I'll provide you with the precise spatial coordinates. Just channel your space magic into the area below."

The bronze coffin, once buried on Tyria, now hovered over their heads, its intricate patterns shimmering with the undulations of space magic.

Taishi's expression remained serene, yet internally, he planned to reforge the bronze coffin after his conversation with Han Miaoyuan.

He had to swiftly deal with the arcane secrets and formations left behind by Jihui.

He was reluctant to trust anyone connected to the origin or those intimate with the Abyss, including his former allies.

...

A short time later.

Taishi's bronze coffin took the place of the Dragon Slaying Stage, coming to a halt at the entrance to the Ashlands.

"Taishi!"

The Most Highs, debating whether to proceed, gasped in surprise at his sudden appearance.

Han Miaoyuan massaged his forehead and stroked his beard with a troubled sigh, "You're not like him; your sudden arrival can only mean trouble."

Having been bested by Taishi in the past, he was wary.

"My dear Han," Taishi said, sitting cross-legged atop the bronze coffin with Taixu and Zhou You flanking him. He smiled, playfully asserting his seniority over Han Miaoyuan, "Do you remember that your esteemed divine position was granted by our Boulderdawn Sect? Without our support, where would you, Han Miaoyuan, be today?"

Han Miaoyuan was momentarily stunned, but he steeled himself and replied, "I remember."

"Do you also recall that, aside from the Dark Phoenix, I am capable of anything when cornered? For instance, causing the Everlands to fracture, opening countless chasms in the earth?" Taishi's voice turned icy, "Gu Xingkui is dead, and to this day, no one has filled my shoes! Moreover, my primordial spirit is not bound by any original source!"

"Have you considered that once I return to the Everlands, unless Lin Daoke can slay me with a single stroke of his sword, then..." Taishi trailed off ominously.

"Do the common folk across the vast empires of the Everlands, your sacred sect lands, not realize they too would crumble in mere moments? You fear the Dark Phoenix, terrified she'll ruin the foundation of the Everlands, but why don't you fear me?" Taishi's laughter boomed, his demeanor unhinged.

"We of Boulderdawn do not fear the collapse of the Will of Everlands. We are indifferent to the absence of an original source because when we were first annihilated, he left us with guidance and direction to find a way to ascend to the status of primordial spirit without reliance on any source." Taishi pointed to himself and then to Taixu, "Do you see? We've succeeded. We might be slightly weaker without our original source, but we are free!"

"Hahaha!"

"What impact would it have on us if the Everlands were to fall apart, if the Earthfire could no longer forge a new origin? We've already liberated ourselves from the shackles of the Everlands that you, Han Miaoyuan, have devoted your life to defending!"

"And it's not just us; the Dark Phoenix has come to the same realization. She, too, has broken free."

"You, and the entity behind you, dare to use the lives of Everlands' inhabitants to coerce us? What gives you the right? You fear losing what you care about, but we do not!"

With a sharp tear, the surface of the bronze coffin revealed a clear pattern resembling the map of the Everlands.

With a nonchalant slap from Taishi, the pattern corresponding to the Euwrea continent trembled violently.

Simultaneously, an earthquake struck the Euwrea continent across the starry sky.

Han Miaoyuan's face turned pale with shock. "Taishi, have you lost your mind?!"

Mo Baichuan, Zu Ann, and the others were left stunned by Taishi's audacious actions.

"Marsh."

With a childlike grin, Taishi pointed a finger at another dark pattern on the bronze coffin, seemingly opening a hole to the underground in the distant Godsblight Marsh of the Everlands.

The Ape, baring its teeth and screeching, lunged at Taishi, revealing its monstrous form that towered ten thousand feet high.

"Haha!"

Taishi cackled wildly as he and the bronze coffin beneath him receded into the Ashlands. He bellowed, "Han, you old scoundrel, a new era dawns today! I grant you three years to relocate all beings from the Everlands. Whether they be from the sects or the mortal empires, move them beyond our world."

"In three years, Yu Yuan and I will return to the Everlands. I intend to shatter the mountains and rivers, tear away all that veils it along with the Earthfire, and unveil its true face!"

"The battlefield will remain within the Everlands that forged us!"
