C1953 Primal Anima

Eleventh level!

The Lizard's whispers caused a noticeable shift in Yu Yuan's expression, prompting him to take the concept of the eleventh level seriously.

Before encountering the Rat God Panot, he had never heard of the eleventh level of strength. Yet, the Lizard's murmurs had somehow resonated with him.

It seemed that during his time as the God-King Taiyin, he had come across this term.

The pinnacle of the human cultivation system was the realm of the Primordial Spirit.

Beginning with the Spirit Channel, followed by Soul Awakening, Golden Sanctum, Veil Breaking, Subtlety, Lunar Spirit, Spirit Walk, Solar Spirit, and culminating in the Primordial Spirit stage—ten levels in total.

The bloodline of evilkind also reached its zenith at the tenth level.

Similarly, the extraterrestrial Otherkin were classified by their bloodlines, with the ultimate step being the tenth level Blood Warrior.

For the Sky Fiend, levels one through five were considered lesser fiends, the sixth level was the Demon Guard, the seventh was the Demon General, the eighth was the Earth Specter, the ninth was the Demon God, and the tenth was the Great Demon God.

Again, ten levels in total.

The so-called ghost spirits ranged from levels one to five, followed by Earth Specter, Ghost Spirit, Celestial Shade, Spectre, and God of Ghosts.

Still, ten levels.

Within the Origin Realm, all intelligent lifeforms, living creatures, and spectral beings, regardless of their power categorization, ultimately culminated at the tenth level.

Now, the Rat God Panot had introduced the concept of the eleventh level.

He had explicitly stated that only the Titan Spinosaurus, Bertain, and the King of the Wasteland operated at the eleventh level of power.

The rest, including the formidable Dark Phoenix, had not yet reached this echelon of power.

"So, the eleventh level truly exists."

Lizard's eyes suddenly sparkled with envy. "Yu Yuan, you are among the few who have the potential to strive for the eleventh level. And you are already on your path."

"You possess boundless potential."

Lizard's face fell, and he shook his head with a sigh, his tone tinged with bitterness: "Unless I receive the blessing of the Primal Blood like the old Spinosaurus, I have no chance of ascending to that level."

"I've heard a rather vague saying before," someone mentioned. "It suggests that only two or three individuals can ever ascend to supreme beings."

"Sigh."

The Lizard found the notion somewhat lackluster and remarked with a hint of melancholy, "In my entire life, even if I were to survive another ten thousand years, or even a hundred thousand, I might still never see that hope realized."

Whoosh!

The space magic within his platinum scales vibrated once more, invigorating his bloodline without causing any harm.

When he materialized again, he was at the carcass of the Hawk God Soderis. Taking the form of an elder from the Silverscale Tribe, he transformed his body into a gleaming silver spear and thrust it into Soderis's beastly heart.

Puchi!

He pierced deep into the heart of Soderis, tormenting the lingering soul and devouring all the vital energy within the organ.

"The way you've tormented my offspring, I will inflict the same upon you!"

The Lizard's chilling laughter echoed from the depths of Soderis's heart, sending shivers down the spine.

Yu Yuan was momentarily taken aback, then suddenly felt an impulse.

The Dragon Slaying Stage, which had morphed into the Wheel of Life, reverted to its original Altar of Rebirth form and floated serenely beneath him.

Without a moment's hesitation, he placed the belt he had received from the Rat God Panot atop the Dragon Slaying Stage.

From within the belt, beads of blood-colored light and droplets of crystalline divine blood began to emerge, swiftly vanishing into the stage.

The belt slowly lost its mystical allure.

Elsewhere.

Yu Yuan, seated at the Abyssal Gate, drew forth a Bloody River with both hands.

Within the depths of this river, blood-colored light emerged continuously, revealing droplets of divine blood that sparkled like gems.

He watched the blood-colored light intently, immersing himself in the mysteries of the divine blood, his face alight with joy.

His Solar Spirit Body could distinctly sense the contentment of the Primal Blood from the far-off Primal Blood Continent, still in a dormant state.

The Primal Blood, as if in a half-sleep, half-awake dream, perceived the bloodlines of the novel and exotic races from the Wasteland.

This was the treasure it had long yearned for, the precious boon that could spur its evolution and foster its continued growth.

As the Solar Spirit engaged in deep contemplation, the Secrets of Life from another world were naturally being imprinted upon it.

It expressed satisfaction.

Having chosen Yu Yuan as the spokesperson for this era, it quickly reaped the benefits, gaining access to the Wasteland that even the Titan Spinosaurus had not managed to explore.

The blood of the alien beasts from the Wasteland was something it had long coveted but never reached.

How could it not be overjoyed that Yu Yuan had so swiftly secured its desired prize?

Moreover, its satisfaction indirectly confirmed Yu Yuan's hypothesis—there was indeed a unique form of competition between the Primal Bloods of different worlds.

...

"What a letdown."

In the depths of the Monsa Nebula, shrouded by endless devil souls, Kaiya's voice echoed with dissatisfaction.

At that moment.

The belt atop the Dragon Slaying Stage, now an Altar of Rebirth, had turned to ash.

The blood-colored glimmers and the lifeblood of the Beast Gods had already been transported through the air to the Abyssal Gate and received by his Solar Spirit.

His Solar Spirit, feeling the contentment and joy of the Primal Blood, resonated with his real body.

Thus, he knew both the Solar Spirit and the Primal Blood were assimilating the treasures he had gathered.

Turning his gaze, he noticed the Hawk God Soderis was dead, and the Galehound God, forsaken by Panot and Torres, was on the brink of sharing the same fate as the other Beast Gods.

The Monsa Nebula, slowly regaining its light, captured his attention once more. With the situation in Aihoyari resolved, he drifted towards the Monsa Nebula.

The barriers and restrictions of both realms had been lifted.

Effortlessly, he arrived at the lands once populated by countless generations of the Stoneborn, where he beheld the immense specter of Kaiya floating amidst the lifeless stars.

Appearing as a devil soul, Kaiya loomed like the most formidable devil star in the Monsa Nebula, emitting a brilliance that sent shivers down one's spine.

Predictably, Qin Yan's Solar Spirit Body had fragmented.

Within a gem-like shard of the Solar Spirit Body lay the remnants of Qin Yan's heaven soul, safeguarded by Kaiya from destruction.

Scattered throughout the Monsa Nebula were the lifeless remains of the Flaming Bird, White Ape, Tectonic Ripper, and Kylin, all devoid of their beast souls.

A colossal tenth-level Tectonic Ripper God and an equally massive tenth-level White Ape hovered in the void, their vitality surging and faces contorted in pain. The souls of the two Beast Gods were still ablaze with purple devil flames, wailing in agony. They were not yet fully dead.

"One Flamingo and one Kylin got away."

Upon Yu Yuan's arrival, Kaiya's shadow, which seemed to have been endlessly expanding, began to contract. "The Dark Tower artifact suddenly connected with another device, enabling a tenth-level Flaming Bird and a Kylin to make a successful getaway," Kaiya said with a hint of regret. "It's such a shame. Otherwise, I could have eliminated four Beast Gods from the Wasteland in one fell swoop."

"Oh, right. How are things on your end?"

She snapped back to the present, recalling the battle on the other front, and looked at Yu Yuan with curiosity. At this point, her shadow had receded to a more normal size, resembling a Demon God without a physical vessel, though still appearing overly large.

"Our side is holding up well," Yu Yuan replied before adding, "You saw the Icefire Phoenix..."

"I'm aware there are two of them," Kaiya interjected with a light laugh. "I deliberately lingered above because, when I gazed into its mind, I spotted the soul of another fire phoenix."

"So, what happened? Did you manage to kill that peculiar Icefire Phoenix?" Kaiya, who had annihilated the alien beast invading the Monsa Nebula and slain two Beast Gods, inquired with curiosity.

Yu Yuan fell silent for a moment before asking, "You knew all along?"

"What else?" Kaiya retorted, brushing aside his veiled complaint and pressing on impatiently, "What's the outcome? To me, it seemed like the fire phoenix was the dominant soul, the true master of that body."

"They are brother and sister, their blood and souls forcibly fused by the Lord of Ruin," Yu Yuan explained with a sense of resignation.

"That's quite astonishing. I assumed they were twin souls in symbiosis, not realizing they had been merged by force. The King of the Wasteland indeed possesses extraordinary powers," Kaiya remarked, visibly surprised.

"Have you ever heard of the eleventh level?" Yu Yuan probed further.

"The eleventh level?"

"Yes."

After a brief exchange, Kaiya fell quiet. "I've heard my father mention it," she said after a pause, choosing her words carefully. "Not all beings have the potential to reach the eleventh level. Many things are predestined from the start. What follows... depends on fortune and opportunity."

"Some forces are so profound that even with the utmost dedication to cultivation, one can never attain the eleventh level."

"It all hinges on whether the cultivator of such a force has a corresponding Primal Anima."

Kaiya murmured, intentionally keeping her voice low as though she feared being overheard.

"Primal Anima?"

Yu Yuan was taken aback.

"Primal Blood, Primal Soul, and the Primal Vitality from the Wraithlands are all considered Primal Animas," Kaiya clarified. "The Earthfire from the Everlands and the extreme cold of the Primal Blood Continent are weaker forms of Primal Anima."

"If the fire phoenix you spoke of can refine the feeble Earthfire deep within the Everlands, she may have a chance to ascend to the eleventh level."

"In the same vein, Tan Xiaotian, having refined the dark source that originated in the Abyss, could also achieve the eleventh level."

"I'm aware of another source of lightning that has plummeted into the Abyss as well."

"And the Sunsilver Origin, rumored to be in the Wasteland. If Loong Jie is fortunate enough to find and refine it, he too could reach the eleventh level."

Being the daughter of Bertain, the world's true favored daughter, Kaiya was privy to many secrets and had a more comprehensive understanding.

"Don't let your thoughts wander recklessly!" Kaiya suddenly exclaimed. "If you merely think of them, they will become aware."
