C1957 Preparing for the Divine War!

Half a month later, in the Stellar Oblivion.

The Hawk God Soderis, the Tectonic Ripper God, the Galehound God, and a mountainous White Ape had been stripped of their flesh and blood. Their desiccated remains, wrapped in a layer of dry skin, floated before the barrier that separated two realms.

This macabre display was orchestrated at Kaiya's behest.

The flesh, blood, sinews, and hearts of the tenth-level Beast Gods had been meticulously removed, leaving behind mere skin and bones. It was as if they were deliberately placed close to the void, a stark warning to the Beast Gods of the Wasteland on the other side.

The flesh and blood of the Beast Gods brought over from the Yellow Moon Astral Domain had been a boon for Zhong Chichen, Loong Jie, the Dire Bear, and the little spinosaurus.

A colossal silver meteorite, akin to the Dragon Slaying Stage, had been transformed into new land by Taishi's hand.

This pristine territory was rightfully claimed by Yu Yuan.

Upon the gleaming silver terrain, stone towers and palaces rose in dense clusters.

They had even constructed several palaces modeled after the Skyreach Consortium's design, offering magic items, pills, and weapons for various warriors to peruse and purchase.

Numerous members of the Skyreach Consortium were busy transporting rare magic items and ores, continuously supplying this burgeoning hub.

Naturally, the most majestic palace at the center was reserved for Yu Yuan.

It was the exclusive domain of the God-King.

In that very moment.

The Dire Bear, whose bloodline had ascended to the tenth level within the Ashlands, lay sprawled at the heart of the palace.

Despite having intentionally shrunk in size, the tenth-level Dire Bear still resembled a toppled snow-capped mountain.

At his chest, a trickle of blood from the White Ape converged towards his heart. With Yu Yuan's assistance, this lifeblood infused the Life Keychain, now in the form of a young sapling.

This nascent Life Keychain intertwined with the Dire Bear's bloodline, bestowing upon him the force of immortality.

"You are very fortunate," Kaiya remarked, casually enjoying exotic fruits alongside Taishi, Zhong Chichen, Tianqi, and Taixu. As the Dire Bear's eyes fluttered open, she continued, "In the Wasteland, only the mightiest Beast Gods are deemed worthy of eternal life."

After devouring the beast souls of Soderis, the Tectonic Ripper God, and the White Ape, she, stripped of her memories, had ironically become the most knowledgeable person about the Wasteland. Even Yu Yuan relied on her to gain a deeper understanding of this realm. Other powerhouses, like Taishi and Reid, had been bombarding her with questions for the past half-month.

Her devil soul, capable of transforming at will, didn't tire of the attention. She eagerly shared a wealth of information about the Wasteland, enlightening everyone around her.

"I have finally waited for this day," said a voice, as a cold current, sharp as a blade of lightning, enveloped the legendary Dire Bear. Its massive form began to shrink, morphing into a human shape. The figure that emerged was a muscular old man with a mane of silver hair and a matching beard, towering and broad-shouldered.

Looking at Yu Yuan with a mix of emotions, he said, "It was my hope that sustained me, allowing me to survive until now. My contemporaries, one by one, have passed away. Some fell in battle, others to the ravages of time, none of them seeing the hope that I clung to. They believed the ninth level was our ultimate limit, our death sentence."

"But I have endured."

"I've always held the conviction that one day, I would break through to the tenth level!"

He bowed deeply to Yu Yuan.

Then, turning to Ji Ningshuang, who radiated a similar icy presence, he spoke with reverence, "I am ready. We can journey to the Primal Blood Continent together."

He yearned to witness that extreme cold once more.

Ji Ningshuang, having returned to her Unbound state, had already made her decision. At his words, she nodded in agreement.

"I must go once more."

In the palace built especially for Yu Yuan, Ji Ningshuang gazed upon him, surrounded by admirers, and stated calmly, "I intend to reclaim the exalted position I once lost."

Yu Yuan responded with a smile, "I'll be waiting for your return."

"It won't take long," she assured him, her eyes lingering on Yu Yuan. After a brief pause, she added, "I should make it in time."

She was referring to the imminent conflict in the Everlands, the upcoming War of the Gods!

Before long, the man and the bear, both beneficiaries of the subterranean chill, set off for the central continent. Their plan was to head to the Ashlands first and then use the Space-Time Archway there to travel to the Dark Star realm of the Blood Fiend.

"Have you located the Dark Tower?"

Yu Yuan inquired of Zhong Chichen after they were alone.

Empowered by the vast vital energy of the Beast God and with Yu Yuan's assistance, Loong Jie's bloodline ascended to the tenth level, transforming him back into a Chronowyrm. Upon hearing the question, he gently shook his head.

"The Dark Tower must reveal itself and catch my attention with its precise location before I can pinpoint it."

Zhong Chichen's spirits were high; he wasn't disheartened by his inability to locate the Dark Tower. He added, "In the Everlands, all the connections to the Wintermaw through the Frozen Hellscapes have been rendered inactive."

While searching for the Dark Tower, he had traversed several frigid Astral Domains outside our world, using the Wintermaw as a shortcut.

To his discovery, the Wintermaw that bordered the Frozen Hellscape had ceased to function.

The Frozen Hellscape was entirely sealed.

"As expected," Taishi remarked, his demeanor untroubled, showing no sign of surprise. "Everlands has been obscured by Han Miaoyuan, allowing exit but barring easy entry. Upon our return, we must shatter the wall of Everlands to once again stand upon the land that forged us."

His words cast a somber mood over the palace assembly.

The uncertainty loomed large: what awaited them once they shattered the wall of Everlands and set foot back in the Central World?

Previously, they had faced annihilation in the Everlands, which forced their exodus to an extraterrestrial wilderness to survive.

Tens of thousands of years had swiftly passed, and they had risen anew, with the God-Kings reclaiming their formidable renown.

Their sole pursuit was to engage in the Divine War!

"With the Wintermaw no longer channeling ice energy, the Everlands will steadily grow warmer. Soon enough, the flora will wither, rivers will run dry, and the oceans shall shallow," Zhong Chichen explained the impending impacts, pausing before adding, "It seems Han Miaoyuan has no intention of preserving the Everlands."

"He's lost interest," Kaiya interjected with a dismissive tone. "Those who needed to evacuate have done so. The ones left behind, the Solar Spirits and the Unbound cultivators, won't perish from the Everlands' rising heat."

"Those who can't endure the climate will always be frail mortals," was the common sentiment among the gathered crowd.

The news that the Beast God of the Wasteland had halted its invasion of the Origin Realm spread quickly after Yu Yuan and Kaiya returned. Despite this, the lower-ranked members of the Boulderdawn Sect still ventured into the Ashlands.

Near the Boulderdawn headquarters, numerous meteors had been transported, creating a makeshift fortress. The peak warriors from various races in this world had been steadily sending reinforcements.

The Sky Fiend, Dawnbringers, Starborn, Shadowkin, and enchantresses were all mobilizing strong warriors capable of battling the alien beasts.

In addition to the Beast God, there would certainly be ninth-level beast kings arriving. Warriors like Yu Yuan, Kaiya, or Reid weren't necessary to slay these beast kings; Blood Warriors of the same level possessed the strength required.

Besides the Boulderdawn's Starway, extraterrestrial races had constructed an additional Starway for their use. Their aim was to ensure that, should the alien beasts launch a massive invasion of the Wasteland, the battlefield would remain within the Stellar Oblivion and not spread further. The calamities witnessed in the Aihoyari Nebula and the Monsa Nebula were not something they wished to see in their own domains.

"The Ape and Green Willow have both lost their primal essence," Kaiya remarked, glancing at Yu Yuan and giving a slight cough to pique his curiosity. "What's puzzling is that the Untamed, stripped of his primal essence, is still alive. Green Willow's survival isn't surprising, but the Untamed's is truly inexplicable."

"How do you know all this?" Yu Yuan asked, astonished.

"My devil soul is dispersed far and wide, gathering information you're unaware of. There's nothing astonishing about that. Once your dominant soul ascends and becomes a primordial spirit, you'll be capable of the same," Kaiya explained nonchalantly. She then turned her attention to Loong Jie and Zhong Chichen, adding, "From what I've learned from those Beast Gods, only the Lord of Ruin and those who possess the complete life sequence have the power to bestow eternal life upon tenth-level Beast Gods."

"Whether the Dark Phoenix possesses this ability remains uncertain. The Untamed has aged considerably. If he can survive without his original source, there's only one explanation—he must have achieved immortality."

"If it's not you, and it's unlikely to be the Dark Phoenix, then it must be someone from the Wasteland."

Though Kaiya hadn't witnessed it herself, she had deduced the truth and shared her insights with the group.

"Untamed, Wasteland... could there be a connection?" Zhong Chichen wondered aloud.

"The Lord of Ruin is of the ape kind as well."

Kaiya chuckled lightly, her tone nonchalant as she explained, "Just like the old ape, they are from the same lineage. Despite existing in separate worlds, their bloodlines likely share a common origin."

"Ah!"

...

The Abyssal Gate.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Within the Bloody River that Yu Yuan had drawn forth, countless bloodline crystals were melted by his power, becoming an integral part of the river.

An abundance of bloodline mysteries, the evolutionary patterns of Wasteland's alien beasts and unique tribes, transformed into chains of blood.

They all fused into his Solar Spirit Body.

With a mere thought, his Solar Spirit Body assumed the form of a primitive extraterrestrial entity, becoming a cluster of hanging crimson stalactites.

The vibrant, prismatic blood pillars, with bloodline chains interlacing like lightning, shone with an intense brilliance that was truly mesmerizing.

"Eleventh level."

Yu Yuan's murmurs echoed from within his Solar Spirit Body, now resembling inverted stalactites.

The remaining clusters of crimson clouds atop the colorful sea's surface, now brimming with longing, sought to merge with his Solar Spirit Body, eager to assist in his metamorphosis.

This was irrespective of the state of the Abyssal Gate.

Yu Yuan sensed the Primal Blood's impetus, urging him to ascend to the eleventh level swiftly, so he could hunt down the creatures of the Wasteland.

Like the Primal Blood of the Wasteland, it too yearned for the bloodlines of its inhabitants and had been awaiting this moment for countless years.
