C2003 Open the Heavenly Window and Speak Clearly

In a realm where time had ceased to exist, an ancient and hefty tome floated silently, continuously drawing in the surrounding luminescence and time-infused grains of sand.

After an indeterminate span, a figure emerged abruptly — the Demon God Lvliu.

In the midst of battle, as Yuan Li's spirit took hold of Old Ape and brandished the Skyshatter Hammer against Loong Jie and Zhong Chichen, Lvliu too was caught in the fray. A drop of his long-refined Soul Amber shattered.

At the instant his tongue was pierced, he departed, preempting Yuan Li's full descent.

Now, Lvliu had returned.

"You two have finally emerged."

Assuming a human form, Lvliu extended his hand to retrieve the Time Book from the shadowy realm below. A thread of his meticulously refined bloodline's light permeated the pages of the book.

His consciousness slipped into the book's world.

The Time Book, suspended for ages, contained a labyrinth of intricate, interwoven dimensions.

Countless shards of time were laid out across its pages, their overlapping causing them to blend together.

Lvliu's consciousness traversed the book's world, as if strolling through varied epochs and realms, witnessing scenes that only dreams could manifest.

Legends and mythical artifacts, long spoken of by the Vast Expanse and alien races, seemed to spring to life within the book.

Armored Yin Spirits drilled in enigmatic formations, locked in perpetual combat.

Winged specters and sprites swarmed around a radiant orb, as though heeding a sacred lesson.

Devil Souls and Devaputras took shape alongside bubbles rising in a mystical pool.

A torrent of bizarre and inconceivable scenes surged forth.

Lvliu's consciousness navigated the disordered temporal spaces, his eyes reflecting a growing sense of wonder.

The fragmented and peculiar worlds within the Time Book appeared to be genuine occurrences from this very universe.

The Time Book seemed to chronicle the annals of the Origin Realm.

Regrettably, the Time Book of old was merely a volume devoid of inscribed knowledge or script.

It was only after reemerging in the Time Secret Area and through the influence of Zhong Chichen's power, which coalesced the fragmented streams and nameless glimmers, that the Time Book began to unveil the knowledge and narratives once lost, now vividly displayed within its pages.

"Mr. Zhong!"

Lvliu called out with a sudden, resonant voice.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Zhong Chichen, adorned in a flamboyant outfit, emerged from a page in the Time Book, dragging a sinuous golden dragon behind him.

His wounds were not only healed, but the brilliance within his seven-colored eyes had become more subdued, as if he had traversed countless epochs within the Time Book.

He seemed slightly dazed, readjusting to the real world, as though he hadn't quite snapped back to reality.

The depths of his unusual eyes revealed the life journey of both Zhong Chichen and the Colorful Divine Dragon, with scenes flashing by rapidly.

Eventually, the images settled on Yuen Bu descending in the guise of Old Ape and wielding the Skyshatter Hammer.

"Uh."

Zhong Chichen finally regained his bearings. He tapped his forehead and said, "Lvliu, what brings you here?"

"Colorful Patriarch, I..."

Loong Jie, who had soared through various times and spaces, had also healed from his injuries in the slow-moving world of the Time Book.

He had been somewhat disoriented, accompanying Zhong Chichen through numerous fantastical worlds, bearing witness to many events alongside him.

Yet, Loong Jie remained in a state of semi-consciousness, unsure whether his experiences across those dimensions were dreams or reality.

"You're alright, and that's what matters. With your mind, you'd struggle to make sense of anything else, so best not to dwell on it."

With a release of his grip, Zhong Chichen watched the now-miniaturized Golden Dragon God revert to its human form.

Loong Jie scratched his head, indeed no longer trying to puzzle it out.

"What about the others? Yu Yuan, Yuen Bu from the Desolate Realm, Cadorath, Reid, and Taishi—where have they all gone?" Zhong Chichen inquired.

"I'm not sure; I came to ask you," Lvliu replied, shaking his head. "I didn't stray far. I left before Yuen Bu began his slaughter. After noticing Nors and Alex had departed and no new Beast Gods had appeared, I waited a bit longer before coming to find you."

"I need to speak with Yu Yuan through you. I'm confident you can make it happen."

Lvliu, having witnessed Yuen Bu employ the Desolate God's chest cavity and the Life Keychain to facilitate the descent of blood energy, had surmised the remarkable capabilities of the Life Keychain.

Zhong Chichen and Loong Jie each possess a similar Life Keychain within them, granting them both immortality.

Their Life Keychains, bestowed by Yu Yuan, signify that Yu Yuan's Yang God form can detect the presence of Zhong Chichen and Loong Jie, enabling communication with the two dragons.

Likewise, the dragons should be capable of interacting with Yu Yuan's Yang God.

"Oh, I nearly forgot about that."

Zhong Chichen patted his chest and beamed. "You might find it hard to believe, but although it seems like I haven't been in the Time Book for long, for Loong Jie and me, it's been decades."

"I can actually imagine that."

Lvliu spoke earnestly, "When I called for you, I briefly experienced what felt like years in just a moment. So, I truly understand what you're saying."

Upon hearing this, Zhong Chichen paused in surprise, then attempted to communicate with Yu Yuan's Yang God.

His expression grew increasingly grave.

"The Abyss Gate has shattered!"

"Cadorath is at the summit of the Abyss, receiving the legacy of the Light Origin Spirit! Oddly enough, what I observed in the Time Book, the luminous orb teaching peculiar creatures, that's the Light Origin Spirit, isn't it?"

"The Light Origin Spirit is supposed to reside in the Origin Realm!"

Zhong Chichen mused aloud.

"Or has it... shattered as well?"

Lvliu, standing nearby, was stunned by his initial revelation.

"Lvliu, join me on a journey to the Perish Starfield; it is Yu Yuan's wish."

After a moment, Zhong Chichen's demeanor settled, yet his striking features were etched with concern.

"There's a significant issue at hand. Yu Yuan is alerting all of his allies in his own way, urging everyone to brace themselves. My goodness, I'm astounded too—it's truly hard to believe!"

Zhong Chichen shook his head in disbelief.

...

Within the Perish Starfield.

"The Human Race originated from the Abyss, as High Priest Reid witnessed firsthand. The Extreme Intelligence resides on the first level of the Abyss, a land that illuminates the darkness for its denizens."

"With the Abyss Gate now fractured, the Evil God may already be stirring in our realm."

"The King of Desolate Realm, Yuen Bu, avoided confrontation with Yu Yuan's Yang God at the site of the shattered Abyss Gate. His whereabouts are unknown after his escape, and his Shrouded Towers have plummeted into the depths of the Abyss."

"That's essentially the situation. He instructed me to inform all of you."

"..."

At the Divine Soul Sect's headquarters on the Central Continent, Tan Junshan, with great effort, managed to overcome his inner turmoil and clearly explained the situation to everyone gathered.

Among those present were Shehun, Andrea, Tianqi, Xuanli, Brie from the Dark Elfkind, Barol from the Star Race, Jessica from the Silver Scale Clan, Yuv Qian from the Devaputra Race, Shi Jing'er from the Babel Chamber of Commerce, Fong Zhong, Jun Chen from the Silver Moon Sect, Tan Junshan from the Ancient Desolate Sect, Duan Yisheng, and Zhongli, among others.

They were either Divine Kings or clan patriarchs, and at the very least, they were at the Unrestrained Stage.

They had convened in the Perish Starfield to defend against the powerful Beast God of the Desolate Realm. But upon hearing Tai Xu's revelations, the crowd erupted into chaos.

Some accused the Divine Soul Sect of deception, alleging that the sect was actually comprised of humans from the Abyss!

Others, like Shi Jing'er and Fong Zhong, were visibly disoriented and gradually fell silent, seemingly pondering their future paths.

Divine Kings like Tianqi and Xuanli massaged their temples in disbelief, finding the situation absurd and seeking constant confirmation from Tai Xu.

Once they accepted the truth, they too joined the silence.

The area descended into disarray, with a cacophony of voices filling the air.

Only Shehun, the half-human, half-demon Andrea, remained composed throughout. She casually leaned against a stone column, her eyes, clear as amethyst, scanning the faces around her.

It was as though she could see right through their thoughts, observing their ideas and sensing their range of emotions.

It seemed she had anticipated this moment, knowing that such an event was inevitable.

She was the only one who was not surprised by the turn of events.

Subsequently, the Secular Bird Queen, the Chaos Roc, the Abyss Goanna, the Spinosaurus, and four Starry Behemoths arrived in the Perish Starfield from the Gray Domain.

Following them, Ann Ziqing, the Great Demon God Grec, and others arrived, and before long, Zhong Chichen and Loong Jie also joined them, accompanied by Lvliu.

When Lvliu made his appearance, there was an air of hostility towards him due to his identity as a Demon God, similar to the Desolate God. He had regained his status among the Demon Gods after losing his origin.

However, when Zhong Chichen revealed that Lvliu had slain the white python in the Time Secret Area and that his arrival was at Yu Yuan's behest, the tension eased somewhat.

The mood in the Perish Starfield grew increasingly peculiar.

After sharing insights, the truth became clear to all: the Abyss Gate had fractured, and shockingly, the human race's origin lay within the Abyss.

The alien races were in an uproar, and even the humans were uncertain, deliberating over the direction of their future.

Members of the Star Race, Bright Clan, and Dark Elfkind cast hostile glances at the humans, perceiving them as aberrations from the Abyss.

This incendiary revelation shattered the alliance that had been forged around the "New Haochi Project."

Complicating matters was the absence of the Great Demon God Beilstein, the alien race leader who had been ensnared in the Abyss and had not yet returned.

Without their spiritual pillar and leader, the alien races found it difficult to accept Andrea, who was half-human, half-demon, because she too possessed a human form.

Whoosh!

At the Galaxy Crossing, Yu Yuan's Yang God form, alongside Taishi and the Devaputra Pontiff Reid, made a sudden entrance.

Yu Yuan, clad in a deep brown robe, radiated a crystalline, ruby-like luster from his exposed skin.

As he materialized at the Galaxy Crossing, every formidable presence in the central continent of the Divine Soul Sect instinctively turned their gaze towards him.

Thump! Thump! Thump!

The hearts of nearly all the alien warriors and human practitioners skipped a beat at the sight of his Yang God form.

Alien powerhouses like Barol, Rebecca, Canli, and Jessica experienced a profound sense of kinship.

Even the Starry Behemoths like the Abyss Goanna, Chaos Roc, and the Secular Bird Queen felt a visceral connection to their bloodline's source.

Human cultivators such as Duan Yisheng, Shi Jing'er, Feng Zhong, Tan Junshan, and Jun Chen shared this sentiment.

Every being of flesh and blood, whether alien or human, felt a kindred tie to his Yang God form.

"I will journey to the Vast Ocean to unravel the mysteries at the core of the earth."

Yu Yuan emerged from the Galaxy Crossing and stood at the heart of the continent. He declared, "I welcome those willing to join me in the vast expanse of the Human Race with open arms. Those who are not of our race may observe from beyond the expanse and bear witness to all that will unfold there."

"Yu Yuan, must we continue to fight?" Shi Jing'er of the Babel Chamber of Commerce, with furrowed brows, softly questioned, "If we share the same abyssal origin as Han Miaoyuan, Lin Daoke, Tan Xiaotian, and the others, what is there left to fight for?"

Duan Yisheng managed a wry smile, adding, "I now understand why Han Miaoyuan suddenly became so magnanimous, allowing the Silver Moon Sect, Ancient Desolate Sect, Chamber of Commerce, and Divine Soul Sect to relocate to the Boundless Great World. He must have realized long ago that we humans are the true foreigners in this world, all born from the abyss."

Fong Zhong's eyes swept over the alien race warriors as he observed, "In their eyes, we have transformed. We've become the alien ones, just like Han Miaoyuan and Lin Daoke."

Zhongli remained silent, lost in thought.

The human sects, once steadfast in their pursuit of the Divine Soul Sect's lead, now found their convictions wavering after learning the harsh truth. They began to doubt the path Yu Yuan had charted.

If humans were indeed outsiders, their very essence stemming from the abyss, then to the denizens of the Origin Realm, the human incursions were no different from those of the Beast God of the Desolate Realm.

The humans of the Boundless Great World had been waging wars of conquest across various realms. Was this not an extension of the abyss's own invasions? And for so many years at that!

With such ingrained biases held by the other races' mightiest, what hope was there for future cooperation with the Divine Soul Sect?

The 'New Boundless Great World Plan,' yet to commence, was it doomed to fail before it even began?
