C2013 Give It to Me!
Elsewhere, Kaiya's phantom observed Yu Yuan stowing away the life dew, seemingly torn about whether to speak. Yu Yuan, ever watchful of the Fireheart Mountains' activity, noticed that the impending sun was being torn asunder by the Earthfire, which had extracted the solar nucleus.
Kaiya's odd behavior didn't particularly concern him.
"In the deepest darkness, within the Evil Temple, my father conveyed a message to me. He instructed me to follow you and shared a conjecture of his," she finally revealed.
"I refrained from speaking earlier due to the crowd," Kaiya added abruptly.
"What is it?" Yu Yuan's interest piqued, eager to hear the Demon God Bertain's theory.
"Primal Blood isn't unique. Just as the Origin Realm has Primal Blood, so does the Wasteland. If that's the case, perhaps the Primal Soul isn't singular either!" Kaiya's devil soul took on a grave tone as she declared, "If the Everlands possess a Primal Soul, then surely, the enigmatic Abyss must harbor one as well!"
Yu Yuan was taken aback. His focus shifted from his real body to Kaiya. "Are you referring to the Abyss's... rare treasure?"
Kaiya nodded emphatically.
"The Abyss's Primal Soul is likely shrouded in the Genesis Continent's Extreme Darkness. It seems to have bonded with the Titan Spinosaurus when the creature ventured into the Abyss!"
"It's possible that the Primal Soul of the Abyss propelled the Titan Spinosaurus towards the Everlands, seeking its Primal Soul!"
"It appears to have been successful."
"Both being Primal Souls, one crafted humanity in the Abyss, while the other now infiltrates the Everlands, corrupting and assimilating our Primal Soul!"
"Our Sky Fiend race came into being because of the Everlands Primal Soul. My father was graced by its favor, becoming its spokesperson."
"And you!" Kaiya turned her gaze to Yu Yuan. "In your first life, as Taiyin, the Mind Magic imbued within you likely originated from the Abyss's Primal Soul!"
"Both entities are Primal Souls—one forged humanity in the Abyss, and the other gave rise to us, the Sky Fiends, in the Everlands."
Perhaps it's because both the Human Race and the Sky Fiends were shaped by the same Primal Soul that only humans can advance their dominant soul into a primordial spirit, also known as a Primal Demon. Other races, like the Dawnbringers, Shura, and Shadowkin, no matter how they try, cannot undergo the transformation into Sky Fiends.
Deep within our souls, marked by the Primal Souls of different worlds, humans and Sky Fiends, though rooted in different realms—one in the Abyss and the other in the Origin Realm—possess the unique ability to connect with each other.
My father, in the vast Everlands, taught you how to evolve your primordial spirit using the transformation method of the Sky Fiends, likely aiming to garner strength for the Primal Soul of the Everlands.
When a human's dominant soul evolves into a primordial spirit, they become our Demon God, thereby empowering the Primal Soul of the Everlands.
Regrettably, each time a human's primordial spirit emerges, it must merge with a source. The combination of the primordial spirit and this source forms the Supreme God, an essential element for the humans of the Everlands to ascend to divinity.
The so-called source originates from the Primal Soul of the Abyss, which forcibly binds the divine seat. Through the union of the primordial spirit and the source, it continues to encroach upon all the supreme beings of the Everlands.
It has succeeded once again.
During her meditative retreat, Kaiya, influenced by Bertain's daring hypothesis, seemed to have gained profound insights.
Taishi, Taixu, Tianqi, and Xuanli—by my father's method, without relying on the Primal Soul of the Everlands to ascend, they could truly awaken the Primal Soul of the Everlands and bolster its power.
The God-Kings from beyond our world and the so-called supreme beings of the Everlands are inherently different.
Those who have not merged with the Primal Soul yet still reach the status of Supreme God resonate with the Primal Soul of the Everlands, enhancing its power. However, the supreme beings of the human race who possess the Primal Soul are mere puppets of the Primal Soul of the Abyss. No matter their strength, they are constrained by the Abyss's Primal Soul, only serving to amplify its power.
Kaiya finally managed to get her message across to Yu Yuan after much effort.
At that moment, Yu Yuan suddenly lost his connection to the vastness of the Everlands.
His last memory was of Yuan Lianyao emerging from the depths of the earth, forging a flame blade from the bones of a fire phoenix, and striking at him with it.
It seemed to sever the spiritual link between him and his real body.
"We should set out for the Everlands."
Sensing trouble, Yu Yuan realized he could no longer reach the Dragon Slaying Stage and suggested, "We may need to find a different path."
...
In the Everlands, amidst the Fireheart Mountains, the moment Yuan Lianyao wielded the flame blade infused with Earthfire, Yu Yuan immediately felt the presence of Primal Anima, a force that manifested as part of the cosmic order.
His consciousness was foggy, and through the haze, he witnessed a torrential meteor shower raining down upon his Mindscape.
Rip! Rip!
The sky was ablaze with meteors and a deluge of flames, scorching his Mindscape and inflicting excruciating pain, making him long for death.
He was oblivious to everything else, consumed by the searing agony of his soul, as if his life's sole purpose was to endure this fiery torment.
This desire for death slowly ebbed as he began to regain a sliver of his spiritual wisdom.
A new consciousness emerged on the surface of his burning Mindscape, seemingly shielded by the Shadow Moon Essence.
It was a phantom, a projection of his Lunar Spirit from the distant Wraithlands, refined within his own Mindscape.
With the appearance of the Frost Spirit, he was able to cling to a thread of lucidity, aware of the trials his real body was facing.
His physical form on the Dragon Slaying Stage remained unscathed, not engulfed by the flames.
The Dragon Slaying Stage served as a formidable armor, with a violet-gold halo, a spectrum of iridescent light, and layers of interwoven bloodline mysteries enveloping him.
The flames, whether descending from the heavens or erupting from the earth, did not mar his flesh.
His body remained unharmed.
Yet, his Mindscape could not withstand the onslaught of Earthfire in the Everlands, where the Primal Soul resided.
As the embodiment of the Fire Spirit, the moment he was attacked by the Earthfire, the will of the Everlands inevitably intervened.
It was due to the intervention of another Primal Anima that his mastery of various Mind Magic techniques, his connection with the Solar Spirit, and even his spiritual wisdom and self-awareness were all diminished.
Before the soul thread connecting him to the Solar Spirit was severed, he learned from Kaiya that there might be two Primal Souls lurking beneath the Everlands.
One was the Primal Soul that gave rise to the Sky Fiend and Bertain.
The other originated from the Abyss, shrouded in the profound darkness of the Genesis Continent and brought to the surface by the Titan Spinosaurus. It sank into the heart of the Everlands, corrupting its Primal Soul.
In his first life, he was aligned with the Primal Soul of the Abyss, serving as its spokesperson.
Both he and Bertain had received the legacy of a Primal Soul and had acquired the mystical arts of the soul, though their sources were not the same.
Now, the Primal Soul that had always favored him in the Everlands and the Abyss finally struck him down with the Blazing Fire.
As a result, his real body was rendered incapable of performing any soul-related spells.
He could not utilize any spells that required the activation of Soul Power.
Had the Lunar Spirit not manifested, he would have lost his spiritual wisdom and been consumed by the Earthfire without even realizing it.
With a hiss, as his Mindscape was engulfed in searing flames, causing him unbearable pain, he sensed the seal deep within his dominant soul loosening.
The Earthfire, using Yuan Lianyao, the fractured deity, and the bones of a fire phoenix as a blade, sought to break his self-imposed seal.
This would release certain marks of the Abyss's Primal Soul that were deeply etched within his dominant soul.
Once released, he would be utterly enslaved by the Primal Soul of the Abyss, fulfilling Jihui's expectations. As the leader of the human race, he would once again unite the scattered tribes.
If this came to pass, Taixu, Taishi, Xuanli, and Tianqi, these ascended God-Kings, would be re-endowed with their primal essence and turned into puppets under its control.
"Quench the flames."
With a mere thought, strands of icy light burst forth from the Dragon Slaying Stage.
In his Mindscape, the icy light transformed into frost wyrms, crafted from the coldest ice crystals, their serpentine bodies thrashing against the raging inferno within.
The flames within his mind were gradually extinguished, and the flow of blood within his body was no longer constrained.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
Not far from the Land of Terror, at the bottom of the Frozen Hellscape, beneath the Rainbow Ocean, and near the desolate Winter's Bite, fragments of ice energy were converging towards him.
The cold moon and the icy currents of the starry sky infused his body with their chill.
On the Dragon Slaying Stage, a transparent barrier of ice light enveloped his form within the Fireheart Mountains, drawing in ice energy from all around to counter the surging heat of the volcanic range.
The Earthfire, which had possessed Yuan Lianyao, wielded a flame blade that was initially aimed only at Yu Yuan's Mindscape.
Surprised to see Yu Yuan regain his spiritual wisdom, the lid of the Cosmic Crucible abruptly landed at its feet.
As it stood atop the furnace lid in Yuan Lianyao's damaged body, its aura underwent a dramatic shift.
Unmelted solar nuclei hovered behind its head, while the subterranean rivers of flame transformed into dazzling arcs of light that wrapped around its waist.
The flame blade, forged from the remains of a fire phoenix, instantly became a Divine Artifact.
From the gaping fissures, the volcanic maw spewed fire. The flame meteors from distant realms, along with the spiritual energy of fire from the elixir fields of cultivators like Zhou Cangmin, Zhang Guanyu, Faang Yao, and Xu Jingyao, all responded to its call, creating a spectacle that enveloped Yu Yuan.
Boom!
Suddenly, the entire Fireheart Mountains vanished from the perception of all onlookers. Neither the cultivators above nor the supreme beings nearby could glimpse the interior of the mountain range any longer.
The Fireheart Mountains had become a sphere of flames, freely radiating light and heat.
Yu Yuan paused, then abruptly realized the Fireheart Mountains had disappeared.
He seemed to be in the realm of the Flame Deity, with suns suspended overhead, emitting temperatures that could scorch the soul.
His body was bombarded by a barrage of lengthy flame meteors, his feet set upon churning magma. Surrounded by alien beasts born of fire—flamingos, Fire Kylin, phoenixes, fire dragons—their ultimate bloodline powers burst forth, tearing at his flesh and gnawing at the spirit within his Mindscape.
He stood defiant against the onslaught of all fire-imbued creatures between heaven and earth, within the fiery domain controlled by his adversary.
A sultry, fiery-red figure emerged, clad in a vibrant red dress, expressionless as she wielded a flame blade within this Divine Domain of Flames.
She surveyed her surroundings in silence, yet her will permeated the entire world. Every being in the Origin Realm, whose essence had evolved through fire, could palpably sense her presence.
Upon awakening, upon displaying her might, even those who had mastered the laws of fire magic were compelled to revere her.
"Hand it over."
Her thoughts and consciousness enveloped the heavens and the earth.
The Fire Crystal Skeleton, hovering next to her within the Cosmic Crucible, surfaced once more, persistently demanding from Yu Yuan.
