C2017 The Power of the Solar Spirit
In the Everlands, Jihui held the flag, now devoid of its ghost spirit, with a demeanor of humility and respect. He gestured for Lu Hongpeng, Wuran, and the others to give him space, not to disturb his conversation with Yu Yuan.
Yu Yuan, having been granted the title of Undead Lord by the Primal Vitality, had come from the Wraithlands and heeded the summons of Youyu. He glanced back at the tumultuous inferno that was the Fireheart Mountains. This will from deep within the earth had abruptly interceded as he journeyed toward the Ashlands.
His Demonic Vessel and his real body were suddenly overwhelmed by an enigmatic force, leaving him unable to even separate his soul. Both forms of Yu Yuan plummeted toward the ground, nearly drawn into the planet's core.
Once he regained control, Yu Yuan sensed the Everlands' will, daunting to the souls of all beings. He realized that any who bore the mark of its Soul Power would be dominated by it upon their arrival in the Everlands.
Currently, Taishi, Ann Ziqing, Taixu, and anyone born of the Everlands carried its imprint from birth. It could wield this to manifest its strength. His real body and Demonic Vessel, along with his Spirit Magic, were all intertwined with it. It had even gleaned insights into the Primal Vitality's ghostly ways through the Root of the Lunar Meridian and could twist his and Youyu's God of Ghosts techniques using the Undead Altar crafted from the Titan Spinosaurus.
In the Everlands, most of Yu Yuan's Mind Magic and associated powers seemed incapable of exerting their full might, constantly suppressed by this pervasive will. This was the source of Jihui's unwavering confidence.
"Given these circumstances, I shall penetrate the Soul Barrier and summon the force of the Solar Spirit," Yu Yuan resolved, standing before Jihui. With a subtle nod, he set off toward the Land of Terror. As his Demonic Vessel took flight, the Lunar Spirit's power began to infuse his real body, unimpeded by the Fireheart Mountains' fiery essence, swiftly reaching the sea of consciousness within his real body.
The soul power within his Lunar Spirit, unaffected by the blazing energy of the Fireheart Mountains, quickly infused into the sea of consciousness of his real body. The Lunar Spirit within his sea of consciousness gradually swelled with strength. The once vague and ethereal spirited body not only became crystal clear but also displayed delicate gray-white meridians that echoed the "Path of Undead" above.
Leveraging the Path of Undead that stretched across the Stellar Oblivion, his real body reestablished a connection with the Solar Spirit. Once the link was established, the world's most powerful Divine Artifact, the Dragon Slaying Stage, could exchange power telepathically with the Solar Spirit. Consequently, the eleventh-level power of the Solar Spirit surged into the Dragon Slaying Stage.
The Fireheart Mountains blazed fiercely. After Yuan Lianyao departed with her damaged divine form, the Cosmic Crucible, now lidless, erupted with sparks and blinding fiery patterns, making it too luminous to gaze upon directly. "Mo Baichuan's" Fire Crystal Skeleton, harnessing the vital energy within the crucible, infused power into the fruit cradled within its cavity, undergoing a transformative baptism of life. The heart, the most critical part, was vacated first, awaiting the infusion of life dew from Yu Yuan. "You will come," he murmured.
The consciousness of the Blazing Flame, teeming with the world's fire, summoned countless Emberfiends and Flame Spirits, entities unheard of by Yu Yuan, and tangible fire magic rules converged from all directions. It lingered deep within the earth's core, within the Fireheart Mountains. The entity that ventured to the Ashlands was merely a fraction of its entirety.
"Split!" Yu Yuan, clad in violet gold armor, brought his hands together to form a light blade capable of annihilating worlds. The Violet Gold Light Blade, imbued with the core bloodline rules of the Titan Spinosaurus, shone with a brilliance so intense that even the likes of Jihui and Wuran could see it clearly. To their eyes, it was as if a deity was brandishing a sword within the heart of the flames—a colossal violet gold blade that could cleave the chaotic universe into heaven and earth, rousing all creatures to life, burst forth amidst the fiery depths.
Vital energy flooded the heavens! Yu Yuan, from his distant extraterrestrial vantage, channeled his eleventh-level power into the titanic blade that could cleave the heavens! With a resounding crack, not only were the Fireheart Mountains shattered, but the vast terrain was also sliced asunder by the gleaming violet gold light blade.
Not only the Flame Spirits that had emerged in the ancient eras of the Origin Realm but also countless unknown Emberfiends were cleaved in two. Even the vast ocean of fire was bisected by Yu Yuan's strike.
Countless red crystals streaked through Yu Yuan's meridians like slender bolts of lightning. From the distant Stellar Oblivion, the Solar Spirit, who had not yet set out, projected the eleventh-level power across the boundless cosmos to the Dragon Slaying Stage, shattering the seal of the Blazing Fire.
Beneath his violet gold mask, Yu Yuan's eyes suddenly shone with realization. It was achievable! Without the aid of Mind Magic, the sheer force of the Solar Spirit's eleventh level, channeled through the Dragon Slaying Stage, could indeed break the Blazing Fire's seal.
"Youyu."
His gaze cut through the tumultuous sea of flames, focusing on Youyu, the God of Ghosts, who was under siege by Samantha, the Abyssal Evil God. In a flash, Yu Yuan extricated himself from the fiery embrace of the Fireheart Mountains. His violet gold armor vanished, reverting once more to the elongated form of the Dragon Slaying Stage, now resting lightly in his grasp.
He traversed the void in an instant.
A second later, he surfaced at the pond beneath the Land of Terror. The Dragon Slaying Stage, shimmering with the glow of spatial energies, was directed at Samantha, emerging from the Abyss. The fiery red sword light transformed into a river of luminance mid-flight, then solidified into crystals.
And then, they detonated once more.
The jarring clang of swords filled the air as countless crimson beams wove into a sphere, like a miniaturized Everlands, enveloping the space where Samantha stood. In her vision, millions of Grand Sword Immortals swung their blades, and numerous deities of the Origin Realm executed their blood magic.
Her consciousness, the lightning within her, and her unique physique were all subjected to the torment of a thousand swords within this globe of sword and blood light.
Samantha was left riddled with wounds.
"Jihui, you may summon Lin Daoke and Tan Xiaotian back from the Abyss."
Following the submersion of Samantha in the sword light orb crafted by the Heaven-Opening Sword Array, another divine strike cleaved towards Han Qi with a hiss.
Before Han Qi, poised at the Spirit Walk Stage, could unleash his Soul Severing Strike, his body burst apart. His dominating soul and celestial spirit evaporated into nothingness.
Han Qi met his end in an instant. From the skull of a Titan Spinosaurus, the "Undead Altar" echoed with his wails. His phantom, the visage of the Ghost King, materialized on the violet-gold altar. Sheltered by its eerie power, he fled towards the Rainbow Ocean.
Yu Yuan, having just uttered a soft "Huh," was about to swing his sword once more when a piercing pain shot through his head, like a needle's prick. By the time he regained his composure, the "Undead Altar" that Han Qi had been using as a hideaway had already traveled from the depths of the Land of Terror to the Rainbow Ocean, following a tributary of the Lunar Meridian. It then plummeted down a tunnel to the very spot once presided over by Yu Zhu.
"I must ascend to godhood! Now!" Han Qi's cries resounded from within.
With his real body obliterated and both his dominant and heaven souls shattered, only a refined Lunar Spirit remained. Should Yu Yuan destroy this remnant within the Ghost King Realm, Han Qi would be utterly annihilated. His only hope was to channel the Will of Everlands with all his might, propelling the process as urgently as the blazing fire had driven Yuan Lianyao, to attain divinity. This was his final opportunity.
The area, once sullied by Yu Zhu's consecration and now devoid of ghostly presences, was saturated with fear, despair, and malice. As Han Qi's screams pierced the air, the corrupt forces surged towards him, accompanied by a primal essence.
Han Qi knew instantly that his gamble had paid off.
