C2045 Bringing Light to the World

As Yuan Lianyao spoke in hushed tones, a flood of memories surged into Yu Yuan's consciousness.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Strands of recollection raced by, morphing into vivid images that unfolded in the depths of his perception.

To Yu Yuan's astonishment, the majority of these memories were tied to the Abyss!

Furthermore, in many of these recollections, the Abyss was engulfed in darkness, untouched by any light.

This was the primordial Abyss!

The presence of such memories deep within his mind raised a crucial question: what did it signify?

It indicated that not only had he lived in the Abyss, but he had also dwelled there for an extended period!

He had ascended from the lowest depths to the highest peaks of the Abyss, climbing each rung like a ladder until he reached its zenith.

It was he who had ushered in the light to the Abyss.

The memories manifesting in the dominant soul of Yu Yuan were simultaneously mirrored in his Solar Spirit and Demonic Vessel.

His eleventh level Solar Spirit, within the Ashlands, suddenly found itself unable to detect the Primal Blood.

Similarly, the Demonic Vessel was unable to locate the Wraithlands.

The transformation within his dominant soul directly impacted both the Solar Spirit and Demonic Vessel and even caused a faint tremor within the Heart of the Everlands.

The Blazing Fire, having taken residence within Yuan Lianyao's heart, ceased its discourse. Observing the revival of Yu Yuan's memories and the gradual dissolution of the unique seals, it refrained from further elaboration.

It understood that Yu Yuan had the strength to recall all of his past on his own.

A crystal-like artifact with profound etchings emerged, branding itself upon the bloodline rules of Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit as if the crystal itself had made the imprint.

At the fiery pool's base, a new green-black essence slowly coalesced.

The Everlands, previously adrift, had now come to a halt, hovering close to Tyria.

The human race's most exalted beings, Han Miaoyuan, Han Qi, Zu Ann, and Qin Luo, merely gazed at Cao Jiaze's silhouette, motionless and silent.

They all awaited the outcome of Yu Yuan's encounter with the will of the Everlands beneath the earth's surface.

They were brimming with anticipation, eager to see the miraculous transformations that would occur once Yu Yuan's real body and Solar Spirit descended into the depths.

...

On the main planet of Tyria.

Numerous powerful beings were scattered around the Time Gate, including several God-Kings from Boulderdawn, Reid, Ballo, Youqian, Ann Ziqing, and the supreme beings of other races.

In addition to the little spinosaurus and the Abyssal Leviathan, formidable warriors from the Ashlands' various tribes, cultivators from the Starmoon Sect, and members of the Chamber of Commerce had all converged on Tyria.

At that moment, a spark of intelligence flickered in the eyes of Yu Yuan's Demonic Vessel.

Once Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit and his real body had fully entered the Heart of the Everlands, everyone decided to cease their actions.

The Paladin of Radiance, desperate to flee, had already paid with his life. The Secular Bird Queen was temporarily ensnared by the multitude of Divine Swords and Spirit Swords within the Sword Cave.

The Lizard, as he was now known, was in the midst of transforming into an Abyssal Greater Basilisk.

Taishi, Tianqi, Taixu, and Xuanli, having merged with their primal essence, stood guard over the Time Gate connecting to the outside world, alongside Yu Yiyi.

At this time, the inhabitants of the Ashlands were fraught with anxiety, as if awaiting the verdict of fate.

"Sir, you have finally returned."

Jihui beamed a radiant smile and addressed Yu Yuan's Demonic Vessel, under the watchful eyes of the Otherkin.

"When I was in the Abyss and discovered that there were humans living on the seventh layer, just like us, I was initially shocked. But then I dedicated myself to uncovering the truth. Through their ancient texts and the inscriptions within the ruins, I stumbled upon a curious fact."

"In the oldest records of the various races in the Abyss, I kept coming across a single term — Yu Yuan."

"Yu Yuan, as mentioned in the Abyss, is the place where the sun vanishes. Once the sun falls into Yu Yuan, it is swallowed by darkness, unable to emit even the faintest glimmer of light."

"The humans and the eldest tribes within the Abyss once referred to it simply as Yu Yuan."

"Sir, your name, Yu Yuan, signifies the Abyss itself."

Jihui spoke earnestly.

The multitude of powerful individuals encircling the Time Gate fell silent at his revelation, their faces etched with peculiar expressions, their emotions a complex tapestry.

Was Yu Yuan the name of the Abyss?

Did the earliest human inhabitants of the Abyss refer to it as 'Yu Yuan'?

So, Yu Yuan?

"After I managed to escape from Arthurs' seal, I was fortunate enough to visit the guardian at the Evil Temple. And guess what I learned from the guardian?"

"Hehe!" Jihui chuckled to himself, "The guardian of the Evil Temple explicitly told me that its master is the Lord of the Abyss. And would you believe it? The master's name in the Abyss is also Yu Yuan. What are the odds?"

"The most powerful God-King, who pulled the Light Spirit into the Abyss and brought light to that dark realm, was actually named Yu Yuan!"

Jihui suddenly paused.

Countless eyes, filled with shock, were fixed on Yu Yuan's Demonic Vessel, finding it all so hard to believe.

At that moment, Yu Yuan's Demonic Vessel, through the memories welling up from the depths of his dominant soul, indeed saw visions related to the Abyss.

Yu Yuan found himself at a loss for words, as he suddenly felt that Jihui's words might just be the truth.

Maybe he was indeed the former Lord of the Abyss, the strongest God-King of the humans on the other side, once the object of worship for those Evil Gods.

"My lord, your soul mark is eternal. You can resurrect an infinite number of times."

Jihui sighed deeply, explaining, "Because in the Abyss, your understanding of the soul had already exceeded that of the current Demon God Bertain. You were the master of the Abyss, the recipient of all the mysteries of the Primal Soul. You were also the adversary of the Titan Spinosaurus."

"That most exalted Titan Spinosaurus was also grievously wounded by you in the Abyss. Though you appeared to have perished, you were very much alive. When you reemerged in the Everlands, you once again ushered in a golden age for humanity."

"You are its ultimate representative, the manifestation of its will. How could you possibly die?"

"And there's more..." Jihui bowed his head slightly, speaking in a hushed tone, "The guardians of the Evil Temple said that your battle with the Titan Spinosaurus was actually an accident. During your fight with the Titan Spinosaurus, it seems there was a severe disagreement between you and the being who created you. The details, I'm not entirely clear on."

Jihui, wary of discussing the Primal Soul of the Abyss, deliberately kept his words ambiguous, not daring to delve too deeply.

Hiss!

A greenish-black lightning bolt suddenly shot out from his forehead, eyes, and ears.

Jihui's face twisted in pain, and his gaze shattered, uncontrollably letting out a low shout before he quickly switched to cautious speech, no longer daring to speak of the Primal Soul.

With the source within his mind, every word and deed at this moment, every irreverent thought surfacing in his mind, was under the scrutiny of the Primal Soul.

The Primal Soul had just mildly chastised him, reminding him to mind his words.

His thoughts had offended his creator, displeasing the Primal Soul that hailed from the Abyss.

...

In the Abyss, the grand Evil Temple on the Genesis Continent began to ascend from the largest landmass in the Three Realms, swaying as it attempted to depart and seize the chance to enter another world.

Suddenly, a chair materialized out of thin air within the hall crafted from the bones of the Evil God, positioned at the very heart of the temple.

The appearance of the chair drew the attention of all the Evil Gods gathered there, their gazes fixating on the vacant seat.

For reasons unknown, as they beheld the chair, they sensed the presence of someone who had occupied it eons ago.

This individual was the former Lord of the Abyss, who had perished in battle against the Titan Spinosaurus.

The Primal Soul of the Abyss, its creator, was said to have been taken by the Titan Spinosaurus, vanishing without a trace, never to be seen again.

Whoosh!

A ghostly silhouette suddenly manifested upon the chair, like a projection spanning the vast cosmos.

The most ancient of the Evil Gods peered at the emerging shadow, straining to discern its identity, as if memories sealed for aeons were being stirred awake by the power of the Evil Temple.

"Lord of the Abyss!"

"Yu Yuan!"
