C2049 The Strongest Primal Anima

In the Wraithlands, there were three Undead Lords, each with their distinct roles, wielding different aspects of Primal Vitality.

The Undead Lord manifested as an ancient tree oversaw the Thornsnare and directed the flow of the Levi River, selecting suitable Gods of Ghosts.

The guardian of the Crucible of Rebirth managed the cycle of reincarnation for all souls and their subsequent purification and reunification.

The Root of the Lunar Meridian was tasked with laying down the Path of Undead across the Astral Domain, guiding the souls of ghosts to return to the Wraithlands.

The Mind Magic of Primal Vitality was divided among the three Undead Lords, empowering them to serve the Wraithlands.

Yu Yuan's Demonic Vessel had garnered most of its authority from the Root of the Lunar Meridian, making him more formidable than the likes of Matina and Wagner.

Yet, his Demonic Vessel paled in comparison to his Solar Spirit, for he had not ascended to the so-called eleventh level.

Only by understanding and integrating the Mind Magic held by the other two Undead Lords could he hope to elevate his Demonic Vessel to the pinnacle of the Way of Heaven.

Hua! Hua!

The sound of a babbling brook echoed from the site of the Time Gate on Tyria.

Yu Yuan's Demonic Vessel, left outside, seemed to catch the Voice of the Heavens.

Narrowing his eyes, he noticed his Demonic Vessel's meridians resonating with the sound of the flowing stream.

The babble emanated from the Time Gate, amidst a swirling vortex of greenish-black energy, echoing the flow of the Path of Undead within the Levi River.

"Hehe!" Jihui's mouth curled into an amused grin. "The Primal Vitality of the Wraithlands is indeed exerting itself. My lord, can you sense the force from the Wraithlands relentlessly battering this gate?"

Yu Yuan remained silent, his Demonic Vessel's resonance with its meridians revealing to him that the bulk of the force striking the Time Gate originated from the Wraithlands.

The Primal Blood seemed to lack the strength to enter, resulting in a more tranquil situation.

Yet, as his dominant soul underwent transformation and his memories began to resurface, he found himself momentarily bewildered.

Memories emerged gradually, and the dominant soul, shrouded in fog, did not instantly become a primordial spirit. With many uncertainties lingering, he was unsure how to respond to the onslaught from the Wraithlands.

"Hamm, stand guard over this gate for now. Once the Lord fully awakens, we will open the gate and allow the power from the outside world to pour in."

Jihui gestured with the Wraithbanner, channeling the tumultuous and ferocious power of the Abyss into the malevolent stone statue.

The power of Hamm, the Evil God within the statue, surged instantly.

Crack!

The stone statue, forged from the Sword Prison, transformed into a silver-gray stream of stone and flowed into the Time Gate, further reinforced by Zhong Chichen's Abyssal Greater Basilisk.

Hamm appeared to forcibly integrate his stone form into the Time Gate.

Both Hamm and Jihui had the power to destroy the Time Gate, yet they refrained, opting instead to temporarily seal it. It seemed they were preserving it for a future moment—to sound the clarion call for a counteroffensive.

The gate's existence was necessary for someone.

Roar!

A roar echoed from the extraterrestrial wall. The Cosmic Giant Beast morphed into the gaunt old figure of the Silverscale Tribe's Abyssal Greater Basilisk, which tore through the wall and plummeted to the ground.

The Lizard landed before Yu Yuan, its eyes now tinged with a dark hue, perhaps a sign of its life form's transformation.

With a somber gaze, the Lizard looked at the contemplative Yu Yuan and declared, "Lord Jihui, I too will lend my strength."

Beneath the Time Gate, a landslide formed, and the Lizard's vital energy and power began to permeate the structure.

Within the shimmering spatial light of the quaking Time Gate, particles of sand and mud steadily infiltrated.

The Levi River and various Paths of the Undead, assailing the Time Gate from unknown quarters, were seemingly halted by the Lizard's sandy might and Hamm's merging force.

The gate stood immovable, as cold and solid as a millennia-old boulder.

The Lizard's arrival and his collaboration spelled increasing despair for the mighty Otherkin.

The pervasive influence of the Will of the Deep, its insidious ability to infiltrate everything, and the overwhelming power to twist the souls of all living beings were fully realized by them. They harbored a terrifying sense that the Origin Realm would inevitably fall to the Abyss, to be submerged in its encroaching darkness.

...

Elsewhere, the Primal Soul suspended above the fiery pool maintained its form as a greenish-black soul sea. It was enchantingly mysterious, with rules interwoven within, soul light flickering, casting a resplendent divine glow. A mere glance seemed to grant onlookers a glimpse into the ultimate truth. It was the nexus of rules, the fountainhead of the Way of Heaven, and the manifestation of order. It was the most formidable intelligent life in existence.

Strands of newly comprehended Mind Magic, now in hues of green, black, and purple lightning, intertwined within the depths of the soul sea, swiftly assimilated by the greenish-black expanse. These colors represented the insights gained by the Everlands' Primal Soul after merging with Yu Yuan's soul. Upon its return, it immediately sought out the fruits that had emerged in the Heart of the Everlands.

The relentless conflicts between humans and evilkind, the world's transformation, and the self-evolution of mighty beings had given rise to novel forms of Spirit Magic. This new Spirit Magic, intricately imprinted within the Everlands' Primal Soul, was dutifully presented upon its return. This included the Bloodline Revelation associated with the cosmic giant beast, now revealed within the "crystal ball."

Once free, it embraced all aspects of the cosmic order and bloodline mysteries with open arms. Deep within the Everlands, the "Blood Altar," guarded by the most intense flames of the world, was in truth a more complex and wondrous Blood Altar. The "crystal ball," crafted from the heart of a Titan Spinosaurus and underground soul crystals, was indeed a Blood Altar. This altar didn't collect the robust, concentrated vital energy but rather an array of bloodline rules and the enigmatic Secrets of Life.

The "Soul Altar" that Blazing Fire referred to was, in essence, a "Soul Altar," amassing all the mysteries related to the soul. Influenced by the Soul Altar, the Everlands' Primal Soul had effectively become the artifact soul of this unique Blood Altar, mostly heeding its commands and serving it faithfully.

Even though it was sealed deep within Yu Yuan's soul and memories, it persisted.

As the humans and evilkinds of the Everlands waged war against the cosmos and conquered various Astral Domains, the corresponding bloodline mysteries and the Secrets of Life would manifest within the "crystal ball."

In certain unique worlds, the cosmic order concealed within the little worlds and Astral Domains would be imprinted by the Everlands' mightiest once they deciphered it.

Take, for instance, Ji Ningshuang and Tan Xiaotian, who each grasped the laws of ice and dark magic within the Dark Realm.

As soon as they thoroughly understood these laws, the ice and dark magic would emerge in the "crystal ball," while the Spirit Magic they awakened would be branded onto the Soul Altar.

Whenever a being from the Heart of the Everlands awakened a cosmic order it had not yet mastered, no matter the location, it would immediately arise within.

The more intricate and numerous the cosmic order and bloodline mysteries integrated into the Soul Altar, the more potent the origin it could refine, and the stronger it would grow.

Yu Yuan naturally came to understand all these truths as his memories resurfaced.

His brow furrowed as he remembered the Dark Anima in the endless darkness of the Abyss, a stalwart ally of the Abyssal Primal Soul.

Additionally, there was the Tree of Life and the Thunder Spirit it housed.

At the pinnacle of the Abyss, within the deepest reaches of the highest continent, there was also the Light Spirit.

These Primal Animas were either allied with it or directly influenced by it, becoming part of its cadre.

All the Primal Animas of the Abyss, including the Tree of Life, had already been subdued by it.

This even encompassed the Light Spirit, once of the Origin Realm, which had descended into the Abyss and been overpowered by it.

Now present in the Origin Realm, the Everlands' Primal Soul and Blazing Fire had also succumbed.

Its strength was unparalleled.

Its very existence and mission seemed to be the corruption of the Primal Animas of all three realms, one after the other, seizing their dominion and power to fuel its relentless evolution.

Primal Animas would transform progressively, from lower to higher tiers.

Much like the human race's cultivation system and the Otherkin's bloodline breakthroughs, Primal Animas faced a brutal and perilous path of advancement.

The breakthrough of a Primal Anima was far more protracted and exacting than that of intelligent life.

Originally, as long as he remained responsive and submissive to it, he too would grow in strength alongside its burgeoning might and evolution.

It harbored great expectations for itself, considering itself the ultimate weapon to demonstrate its presence and might.

At present, it was merely awaiting the transformation of its dominant soul into a primordial spirit.

Once its primordial spirit emerged, it would extend its influence, warping its soul and thoughts anew.

Using its own form as a conduit, it would briefly taint the Solar Spirit and its Demonic Vessel.

Following this phase, it planned to harness the energies of the Ashlands through the Everlands, propelling the Everlands toward the Dark Star to make contact with the Primal Blood Continent.

It would also seek out the Wraithlands within the Origin Realm using its Demonic Vessel and venture within.

Memories tied to the Abyss were stirring; as the soul metamorphosed, Yu Yuan intuitively grasped its intentions and schemes without much contemplation.

He and it were thoroughly acquainted with each other's essence.

"Tan Xiaotian."

Yu Yuan whispered the name to himself.

"Tan Xiaotian, Tan Xiaotian, Tan Xiaotian."

Like the wrathful bellow of a deity, the Demon Lord Tan Xiaotian in the Dark Realm was assailed by a resounding echo in his mind, conjuring a vast green-black apparition.

"Yu Yuan!"

With a contemptuous huff, Tan Xiaotian eyed the abrupt emergence of the immense phantom and raged, "The Dark Anima told me you've been selected as its emissary, Yu Yuan! So what? Just because the Primal Anima that graced me with dark magic is its ally, I should heed your command?"

"Don't delude yourself, Yu Yuan! I, Tan Xiaotian, am the pinnacle of humanity. Whether it's you, Lin Daoke, or the Dark Phoenix, all should be beneath my heel!"

"Don't even mention you, Yu Yuan. Not even it can shackle me, Tan Xiaotian!"
