C2066 The Meaning of the Hall

The Lord of Ruin, Yuan Le, was taken aback, his expression one of surprise and uncertainty.

His eyes shifted between Tan Xiaotian and Yu Yuan, seemingly seeking confirmation as to whether Yu Yuan could indeed wield the power of the Evil Temple, which had been severed from the Abyss.

"He can use it," Tan Xiaotian interjected at that moment.

He explained that during his ascension to the eleventh level, the Dark Anima had instructed him to construct a similar edifice. Yet, the Dark Anima had cautioned him that he was far from ready to build such a temple and advised him to focus on refining the Dark Realm into a Darkland first.

The formation of such a temple required exceptionally stringent conditions to harness its unique powers.

Simply put, as a newly minted Dark Overlord, he lacked the credentials.

He was also unsure of the temple's true significance or its unique importance.

"Why are you able to utilize the Evil Temple?" Yuan Le demanded, his face contorting with emotion upon hearing Tan Xiaotian's revelation.

His two Blood Clones had been obliterated by Yu Yuan at the Abyss's threshold, but not before learning about the Abyss's structure, the various Abyssal species, and some ancient secrets.

The Blood Clones could share knowledge and thoughts, and although they were destroyed, the information they had gathered remained.

Yuan Le had thus learned of a land known as the Genesis Continent, located in the deepest darkness at the bottom of the Abyss, crowned by several Evil Temples.

Each Evil God of the Abyss was required to visit the Holy Temple for purification, and their remains were to be integrated into the Holy Temple upon death.

The discovery of such a temple in the Abyss had initially shocked Yuan Le. He surmised that someone more powerful than him, older than the Titan Spinosaurus, and further along this path had once traversed the Abyss.

Knowing the Evil Temple was without a master, Yuan Le realized that its creator had perished in the Abyss.

He felt a sense of relief and ease, grateful that this formidable predecessor had long since passed away, sparing him a daunting adversary.

"They call me the Lord of the Abyss. Naturally, I can command the temple that resides there," Yu Yuan responded after a brief pause, addressing Yuan Le's question. His gaze then turned, filled with curiosity, towards the Beast God Temple.

The Beast God Temple that stood behind Yuan Le in the Wasteland seemed to hold a significance akin to that of the Evil Temple. Once any beast god bloodline ascended to the tenth level, they were required to heed Yuan Le's summons at the Beast God Temple. There, he would consult the blood source repository to check for the presence of that particular race's beast god lifeblood.

Should it already exist, Yuan Le would have no further demands. However, if absent, the nascent beast god was obliged to contribute a drop of their life essence for display within the Beast God Temple.

The creator of Yuan Le championed the emergence of diverse beast gods within the Wasteland, urging him to bolster the fledgling alien beasts in their quest to reach the tenth level. The advent of a first Beast God from a previously weaker alien beast race was of monumental significance, potentially spurring the advancement and maturation of Primal Blood.

Yet, the mysteries of the Beast God Temple extended far beyond this. The Beast God Temple, much like the Evil Temple in the Abyss and the Phoenix Shrine fashioned by the Dark Phoenix, held a unique importance.

"Lord of the Abyss?" Yuan Le's countenance flickered with uncertainty.

Amidst the dialogue of the three eleventh-level titans, all Beast Gods remained hushed, their attention captivated by the secrets of the temples. They, too, were eager to unravel the mysteries.

"Every supreme being who ascends to the eleventh level receives guidance from their Primal Anima to erect such a sanctuary," Yuan Le explained, his gaze piercing through the mountain's rocky strata as if beholding the Primal Blood within.

With a voice steeped in awe, he proclaimed, "However, it is only my Beast God Temple and the Evil Temple of the Abyss that are truly complete, wielding unparalleled power!"

He continued, pride swelling in his voice, "For it is the life sequence that bestowed upon me, and the Primal Soul of the Abyss that has achieved the unification of this world."

Under the dominion of the Primal Soul of the Abyss, the Thunder Spirit, Dark Anima, plant spirit, and Light Spirit all yielded, aligning with its will. Only when a world's Primal Anima unifies its will and appoints a definitive spokesperson can a temple be deemed complete.

The two most consummate temples within the Three Realms were none other than Yuan Le's Beast God Temple and the Evil Temple of the Abyss.

The Dark Phoenix hadn't even reached the eleventh level, and her early-crafted Phoenix Shrine was insignificant in Yuan Le's view.

Tan Xiaotian, having ascended to Dark Overlord status, wasn't instructed by the Dark Anima to immediately erect a Dark Shrine because he was missing too many essential elements. The denizens of the World of Darkness, born of shadow, had yet to begin their proliferation. Tan Xiaotian was merely at the outset of his journey to supremacy.

The Titan Spinosaurus and the Demon God Bertain, both born in the Origin Realm, along with their respective Primal Animas, hadn't achieved a unified will, preventing them from constructing a comparable sanctuary. The crux of the issue lay in the existence of three superior Primal Animas within this realm, none of which had established dominance. Sometimes the Titan Spinosaurus, born of Primal Blood, reigned over the Origin Realm, and at other times, it was Bertain, driven by the Primal Soul, who commanded this universe. Without the true unification of the three Primal Animas' wills, such a sanctuary could not take shape.

Yuan Le believed that the absence of such sanctuaries exposed even Bertain's vulnerabilities, making him not entirely invincible. For Yu Yuan, who had only recently ascended to the eleventh level with the Primal Blood of the Dark Star, the prospect of constructing such a sanctuary was even more remote.

Yet, Tan Xiaotian had previously claimed that Yu Yuan, as the Lord of the Abyss, could wield the Evil Temple, a structure on par with the Beast God Temple. This revelation took Yuan Le by surprise. He was visibly shaken, appearing anxious as if matters were slipping from his grasp.

"Hall..." Yu Yuan murmured, taken aback.

The Evil Temple, imbued with unique significance, now stood within the vast expanse of the Moonfall Sanctuary in the Everlands. Guarded by both the Guardian and the Evil God, it was engaged in battle with the Great Demon God Bertain. It seemed that Bertain had always harbored a deep-seated apprehension of the Evil Temple during his time in the Abyss.

Jihui had once mentioned that if the Evil Temple were to merge with him upon his awakening, he would become unbeatable, suggesting that the temple was an integral component of his strength. Yet, curiously, the memories of the Evil Temple had yet to surface in his dominant soul.

If Yuan Le hadn't pointed it out, Yu Yuan might never have realized the profound significance of the palace that had followed him to the Genesis Continent of the Abyss.

It seemed that, during his time as the Lord of the Abyss, this hall was his most vital source of power, the key to his dominion over the Evil God.

Boom!

As Yu Yuan pondered deeply, a scarlet star crossed the vast expanse of the cosmos and suddenly appeared above his head, radiating a blinding light.

In the Dark Star Region, on the Primal Blood Continent, the mountain encircled by stars recognized the Primal Blood of the same lineage from a different world and hastened across the distance to meet it.

The Origin Realm and the Wasteland, the two blood sources, converged here.

Yu Yuan and Yuan Le, both products of these sources, encountered each other once more in this strange and desolate Astral Domain, acting as representatives of their respective realms.

Yu Yuan could distinctly feel the will of the Primal Blood in this realm.

The Primal Blood assured Ann Ziqing that those connected to him, such as the Abyssal Leviathan and Taixu, would survive and not be further pursued for possession.

It sought Yu Yuan's assistance to defeat Yuan Le, the Lord of Ruin, and to obliterate the Beast God Temple atop the mountain, including all invading Beast Gods.

"This was always part of our agreement."

Yu Yuan nodded his assent. He transformed the Dragon Slaying Stage into a violet gold blade. Watching the blade stretch infinitely and sensing the tumultuous surge of vital energy, he declared, "Just don't attempt to influence or possess me."

Brilliant rivers of light burst forth from Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit Body, surging towards the mountain.

The mountain's extended presence had eradicated all life, swallowing all cosmic energy, leaving the Star River a void and silent battlefield—ideal for their conflict without endangering others or nearby Astral Domains.

"The black goat is mine to handle."

Tan Xiaotian's voice rose from behind him.
