C2091 I Shifted the Location
The mountain trembled subtly as the Crimson Star suddenly brightened.
Chen Qinghuang gazed at the Crimson Star, her eyes seemingly able to illuminate the hearts of others, as if she could detect that the Primal Blood within had also exerted its influence in this battle.
"Mother Earth has grown even stronger and can aid them in resisting that entity from the Abyss," Yu Yuan declared from the Dragon Slaying Stage.
Cao Jiaze's flesh had withered, his potential spent. At Yu Yuan's suggestion, he had allowed his remaining Lunar Spirit to depart and enter the inner sanctum of the Dragon Slaying Stage.
The Dragon Slaying Stage drifted next to the mountain, bathed in the light of the Crimson Star.
Yu Yuan steadied his emotions, not allowing the situation with Cao Jiaze to disrupt his composure. He stated coolly, "The one who aided Mother Earth's awakening is not solely the creator of your being, but also... it."
With that, Yu Yuan lifted his gaze to the Crimson Star.
The Primal Blood of this realm and that of the Wasteland appeared to have both intervened in the contest between the Phoenix Ashes and the Earth Spirit.
The entity that had possessed Cao Jiaze was exceedingly powerful and was intent on preventing Mother Earth's reawakening, even going so far as to repeatedly deceive the Earth Spirit of the Wasteland. This led to an unprecedented alliance between the two Primal Bloods.
Mother Earth, once a high-level Primal Anima with a wealth of experience in such conflicts, had ultimately been defeated, fragmented into countless pieces that formed the many lands across the seven layers of the Abyss. Yet, in the eyes of the two Primal Bloods, Mother Earth remained vastly superior to her Primal Anima kin.
They facilitated Mother Earth's revival, merging her with a nascent Primal Anima, hastening her return to the echelons of high-level Primal Animas.
In their panic over the Everlands' Primal Soul being consumed, the two Primal Bloods collaborated to bring about the demise of the primary Earth Spirit within the mountain, paving the way for Mother Earth's rebirth.
The mountainside, shrouded in a blood-red mist, teemed with a more vibrant life force. The summit's terrain was no longer smooth but pockmarked with grooves, where crystal-clear waters gathered.
The Primal Blood within the mountain had begun to sow Life Seeds, fostering a new Solar Meridian.
This peak would transform into the Wasteland's most wondrous Hallowed Ground, nurturing an array of formidable life forms, no longer confined to alien beasts.
The Primal Blood of the Wasteland revealed endless possibilities throughout this journey to the Origin Realm. A subtle ripple of blood emanated from Yuan Le's human form, signaling his communion with the Primal Blood within the mountain.
Standing before the Beast God Temple, Yuan Le's expression shifted continuously as he listened intently. After a short while, he nodded, seemingly convinced by the mountain's Primal Blood. He turned to the disheartened Sekou and said, "You will find a new source, one that will elevate you to the eleventh level you long for. Sekou, you will become immensely powerful, truly unique."
Yuan Le sought to bolster Sekou's spirits, urging the Direbear not to wallow in sorrow. "They're not the same," Sekou murmured, head bowed, his gaze shifting between Yuan Le and the Beast God Temple behind him. "I owe my gratitude to the one that's gone. Without its favor, without its cultivation, there would be no Sekou today. It's dead, I know it's dead, I..."
The massive bear, seemingly gentle but inwardly fierce, shook his head repeatedly. "They may differ, but Mother Earth will emerge stronger, a superior Primal Anima. This entity, allied with the Primal Blood that forged me, will amplify our combined strength."
At the behest of the Wasteland's Primal Blood, Yuan Le continued his efforts to convince Sekou. "Let's decide on this. We must return to the Wasteland to allow it to ascend as a high-level Primal Anima."
As Yuan Le spoke these words, the majestic mountain ceased to be encircled by stars. All the stars were absorbed by the mountain, integrating into its mass and augmenting Mother Earth's power.
A murky force field emanated from within the mountain, violently dispersing the energies of the Abyss throughout the cosmic expanse. The mountain thundered, adjusting its position as if searching for the Stellar Oblivion.
Mother Earth, stirring to wakefulness within the mountain, also reached out to the Uxthar Tree, expressing a desire for the divine tree to settle within, so they might thrive together. The lush Uxthar Tree, its leaves aglow with a mystical light, swayed joyously in response.
The Uxthar Tree immediately reached out to the Secular Bird Queen, sharing its vision for the future. It spoke of the time when Mother Earth would be reborn, regaining the power of the high-level Primal Anima. The tree would then root itself at the summit of a towering mountain, drawing from the immense nutrients to flourish.
Through Mother Earth, it aspired to evolve into a plant spirit akin to the Tree of Life within the Abyss.
The Uxthar Tree also extended an invitation to the Secular Bird Queen, expressing its desire for her to accompany it to the mountain.
"Go ahead."
Chen Qinghuang reflected briefly before gracefully emerging from the branches and alighting on the Dragon Slaying Stage beside Yu Yuan. "I understand that by taking root at the mountain's peak, you're bound for a new metamorphosis and breakthrough. I won't stand in your way."
The divine tree, her companion of many years, required the right soil to thrive.
Should the Phoenix Ashes, now transformed into Mother Earth, ascend to a high-level Primal Anima, it would provide the ideal sanctuary for the divine tree, bestowing upon it the utmost benefit.
Chen Qinghuang was acutely aware that the divine tree had chosen wisely, and she wished she could join it.
Yet, she declined.
Atop the mountain, Yuan Le grasped the situation upon hearing her words.
He observed that the Uxthar Tree, realizing persuasion was futile, ceased its attempts and drifted over like a swath of clear sky.
"What a pity," Yuan Le murmured, shaking his head with a light sigh. Yet, he couldn't help but feel that perhaps this was for the best.
The Earth Spirit had vanished, but Sekou, with a new source, was on the verge of ascending to the eleventh level, potentially surpassing even Tan Xiaotian in strength.
A representative chosen by a high-level Primal Anima would naturally outmatch those of lower and mid-level Primal Anima.
The encroaching darkness was merely a mid-level Primal Anima.
With a thunderous boom, as soon as the Uxthar Tree touched down, the mountain that had emerged from the Wasteland soared into the void.
On the Dragon Slaying Stage, Yu Yuan and Chen Qinghuang watched the mountain recede into the distance.
Above them, the Crimson Star, birthed from the Primal Blood Continent, gazed upon the departing mountain like a vast, blood-red pupil.
It seemed to linger with a hint of reluctance.
"You want me to kill Yuan Le and merge with the Primal Blood within the mountain to gain the strength to confront that entity," Yu Yuan said with a smirk, communicating with the Primal Blood within the star. "Yet you're full of reservations, fearing a pyrrhic victory that might ultimately benefit that entity, allowing it to sweep us away in one fell swoop."
The Crimson Star ceased its dazzling emission of blood-red light, and Ji Ningshuang quietly peeked out.
"Head to the Dark Realm," Yu Yuan abruptly suggested. "There, the power of extreme cold can be fully harnessed. The Dark Realm borders the deepest layer of the Abyss. If there was a barrier there before, we can certainly construct one again."
"In the Dark Realm, we can still hold out hope for the darkness that lies within arm's reach."
At this moment, Zhong Chichen and Loong Jie, with their Life Keychains, were all in communication with Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit, seeking guidance on their next course of action.
"Everyone, proceed to the Dark Realm," Yu Yuan instructed.
Ann Ziqing, Taixu, and others whose life forms had undergone significant transformations also set off for the Dark Realm, following his command. This was because his real body had already taken the lead, arriving in the Dark Realm ahead of them.
...
On the edge of the cosmos, the Phoenix Shrine sat at the juncture between the Origin Realm and the Wasteland. This grand and imposing hall had two doors ajar.
One door faced the Origin Realm, the other the Wasteland.
The Phoenix Shrine served as a bridge linking the two realms, enabling the loyal alien beasts, beast kings, and beast gods of the Origin Realm to traverse to the Wasteland through its halls.
"Yuan Le will be coming back from the Stellar Oblivion. We'll set out from here," Zhiya, transformed into a woman of striking beauty, stated in front of the door leading to the Origin Realm. "The Sky Fiend is hunting the alien beasts across the world. We'll do our utmost to guide them here."
"Sky Fiend?" The Moonfang Tiger expressed surprise.
"Yes, aside from the Demon God Bertain, all the Sky Fiend tribes likely see it as their progenitor. Bertain's downfall is inevitable. He might manage to endure a little longer, but he won't last indefinitely."
Zhiya appeared to have a clear understanding of the situation. "Once he's completely succumbed, he will set out to assassinate Yuan Le and abandon that mountain."
"I hope Yu Yuan can take some action in the meantime, to gain additional time both for us and for himself."
