C2170 The Chaos Titan

Yu Yuan's expression was inscrutable, leaving it uncertain whether he had fully mastered the Holy Temple.

"The Evil God has been resurrected by my hand, and so too can the primordial spirit of the Gods."

He chuckled once more.

The grand Evil Temple stood proudly in Eiwrone, with the clamor of battling Evil Gods echoing thunderously within.

Then, abruptly, the Evil Gods fell eerily silent.

Engaged in a struggle for survival, the Evil Gods, who preyed on each other's flesh and evil souls, found themselves bound by an unknown force, all confined within a cage.

At the forehead of the transformed human figure within the Holy Temple, Yu Yuan's visage emerged, exuding tranquility and control as if he held the universe in his grasp.

"Behold," he commanded, and a massive tremor emanated from the depths of the Everlands.

A soul mark, enshrouded in a dark green glow, drifted up from a fissure gushing with the energy of the Abyss. Within it, memories intertwined, and layers of Spirit Magic and cosmic order accumulated.

Within the diminutive soul mark, a faint silhouette could be discerned.

Whoosh!

The soul mark soared beyond the Everlands' atmosphere and entered the heart chamber of the humanoid Holy Temple.

Yu Yuan's Divine Visage, with the Soul Altar at his brow shining like a crystal, fixed its gaze on the soul mark within the dark green light, his expression darkening by the moment.

He recognized the soul mark buried deep within the earth—it was someone he knew all too well.

"This Holy Temple, forged from the bones of countless Evil Gods, shares a unique bond with me. The esoteric wisdom of life and the complex bloodlines of the Origin Realm you've provided grant me the power to reconstruct the physical form of the Gods from the flesh and bones of the current Evil Gods."

"Flesh, blood, sinew, and bone have always been convertible under the influence of the Secrets of Life."

"If the feeble Evil God cannot even make you flinch, then its existence is devoid of purpose."

He pronounced the fate of the Evil Gods from the center of the Holy Temple, and the once raucous Evil God was now relegated to oblivion.

Jihui, Zu Ann, Qin Luo, and the others, now fully self-aware, listened to his nonchalant declaration. They couldn't help but feel a twinge of sympathy for the Evil Gods of the Abyss, accompanied by a profound sense of melancholy.

The savage and murderous Evil God was effortlessly subdued by Yu Yuan. His fate was no longer in his own hands.

They feared the Evil God would ravage the Origin Realm and the Everlands. But once they realized the Evil God was no longer a threat, the Evil Gods faced a decline and a brutal path to destruction.

It was all because Yu Yuan had changed his mind.

Whoosh!

A gaunt figure, covered in blood, emerged from the opening at the core of the Holy Temple after Yu Yuan finished speaking.

The sinews on the bloodied bones were grotesque, and in the blink of an eye, smooth skin and flesh formed. Clusters of evil souls were instantly purified into Soul Power, filling the gaunt figure's brain.

The flesh, blood, tendons, and bones were from the Evil Gods, as was the Soul Power.

Born in the Abyss, they were among those Evil Gods created by Yu Yuan. Once they entered the Holy Temple, they lost all control over themselves and became the raw materials for flesh and souls that Yu Yuan used to forge new life.

Shortly thereafter, the emaciated figure solidified into Han Miaoyuan of the Ebon Star.

The master of the Ebon Star Sect was resurrected.

Han Miaoyuan, whose soul had dissipated, was brought back by the lifesoul mark etched into the Heart of the Everlands, with Yu Yuan's power gathering his spirit once more.

Han Miaoyuan, sporting a goatee, appeared even younger than before his death. He paused at the entrance of the Holy Temple, his eyes flickering rapidly with memory sparkles.

He sorted through the memories flooding his mind, aligning the timeline to reclaim what he had lost.

"Sect Master!"

"Mr. Han!"

Lin Yue, Van Heqing, Lu Hongpeng, Qin Luo, and the other supreme primordial spirits witnessed Han Miaoyuan's resurrection by Yu Yuan's power, and they instantly found their cornerstone.

The Gods had regained a central pillar in Han Miaoyuan!

"I need time to remember, to become accustomed to... my new body."

Han Miaoyuan said somewhat bewilderedly, massaging his temples, feeling the Lunar Spirit within his sea of consciousness and the primordial spirit merged with his essence. "I remember you, Lin Yue, Van Heqing! I am the sect master of the Ebon Star Sect, tasked with the revival of our people. I am the executor of his will!"

Han Miaoyuan's speech flowed more smoothly as he continued.

"It's you!"

Ultimately, he fixed a cold, piercing gaze on Yu Yuan, his memories flooding back.

"I am on the verge of achieving Great Perfection in the realm of the soul. Each of the mighty Gods of the Everlands, upon their ascension, merges with an origin and receives a soul mark. This soul mark shares a mysterious connection with the lifeblood of the Beast God in the Wasteland. With their soul marks, I can resurrect them."

He revealed the esoteric knowledge behind his power.

At that moment, the Gods of the Ashlands looked on with fervent anticipation.

If the Gods' primordial spirits were successfully crafted and merged with the bestowed origin, wouldn't they reach a state of true, undying eternity?

Beyond having infinite lifespans, could they not be revived by him even if they perished in the extraterrestrial realm?

As long as he existed, as long as the mightiest among the Gods left a soul mark, wouldn't they live on eternally?

Yu Yuan, as the Lord of the Abyss and the most formidable God-King of the Gods, certainly lacked such prowess.

Across the Everlands, the hearts of the Gods' champions swelled with tumultuous energy.

The deaths of Zhongli Dapan and Tong Laoqian served as a warning to all, while his method of resurrecting Han Miaoyuan seemed like a profound seduction.

He was demonstrating that as long as he existed, as long as one remained faithful to him, they could attain true immortality.

Such immortality could only be granted by him, and he alone could make it a reality.

He wielded both intimidation and enticement.

With a whoosh, the portal in the chest of the humanoid Holy Temple snapped shut, and the figure on the temple's forehead withdrew into the inner sanctum.

The once flesh-and-blood temple transformed into a colossal monster, its limbs cracking as it stepped onto the glittering Eiwrone and surged toward Yu Yuan's Divine Visage, towering millions of feet in the distance.

Cosmic energy from the Everlands and the vastness of space converged upon the monstrous Holy Temple.

The Holy Temple swelled wildly, growing larger and more imposing.

On its dark green skin, billions of runes and arcane symbols glowed brilliantly, tracing patterns like those of the Star River.

The mysteries of the Way of Heaven, which Yu Yuan commanded, were laid out in an array by the Primal Animas as a sacrifice to him, shrouding his colossal Divine Visage that spanned tens of thousands of feet.

All those within the Ashlands gazed upon the Holy Temple and Yu Yuan as they were engulfed by a torrent of cosmic energy within the void.

Suddenly, Yu Yuan's vision was no longer filled with the Ashlands; he found himself in a murky, primordial world of energy.

Creatures more ancient and massive than the Cosmic Giant Beasts, resembling Evil Gods magnified a millionfold, loomed in the void. Some were as vast as turtles, their flesh and blood shells supporting entire continents, while others were birds of immense size, their wings forming two separate worlds where life evolved and civilizations flourished.

In the darkness, the horrifying beings glimpsed by Yu Yuan were of such form and magnitude.

"Chaos Titans!"

The sight of these ancient and formidable creatures sparked a memory deep within Yu Yuan's mind.

In the true Abyss, now perished from the battle of the Primal Anima, these immense spirits known as Chaos Titans were born from the Primal Blood, created in collaboration with the Primal Anima.

The now extinct Primal Blood had formed the flesh and bones of the Chaos Titans, and it was they who endowed them with souls.

Over generations, these beings evolved. What transpired remains unknown, but ultimately, their existence led to the Abyss's downfall and the death of that world's Primal Blood.

Only he, the original soul of the true Abyss, tenaciously clung to life in the desolate Wasteland.

"Abyss, I..."

The vision shook Yu Yuan to his core, causing an excruciating headache, so intense that even the Soul Altar began to crack.

A deeper mark within him was stirred by the recollection of the Chaos Titans, awakening to a pain that cut to the bone, and he remembered the vague details of his own demise.

He had perished in the real Abyss, and the entity that had slain him had plunged him into an abyss of unending darkness and silence.

"Darkness!"

He strained to remember, only to find his deepest memories shrouded in profound darkness.

Darkness had taken root in his very being and soul.

As Yu Yuan's mind spiraled out of control, his Divine Visage trembled with the force of his turmoil.

Looking down, he saw a colossal turtle bearing an immense continent on its back, colliding with the ankle of his Divine Visage.

The land atop the turtle's shell crashed into the base of his Divine Visage, sending a sharp pain coursing through him.

Boom!

The bizarre vision in his mind, the phantasmal world of the Abyss, vanished without a trace.

It was Yu Yuan, transformed into the Holy Temple, who had stepped on the Eiwrone and launched himself at his Divine Visage. He seemed to wield the desolate power of the Abyss, using the cosmic order he had mastered and reaped to strike at his own Divine Visage.

Yu Yuan's Divine Visage, towering ten thousand feet high, suddenly fractured.

His real body, now reduced in size, was also ripped apart. Except for the Soul Altar at the center of his forehead, which remained intact, his flesh, blood, brain, heart, and acupoints were riddled with innumerable fissures.

This disfigured body was then struck into the exploding void crack and vanished from sight.
