C2230 Accident

The flesh and blood that had astonished the mighty both within and beyond the realm remained unchanged beneath Yu Yuan's feet. There were no vicious tendrils of flesh and blood to tear him asunder, nor was there any force that could dissolve Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit Body into a mist of blood.

Under the vault of heaven, his expression was somber, his gaze profound. He watched Yu Yuan's silhouette intently, attuned to the subtle stirrings of the variegated flesh and blood, his brow furrowing ever so slightly. He had detected that Yu Yuan's presence was reigniting signs of life in some of the otherworldly beings that he and the Dark Anima had previously vanquished.

"Yu Yuan is unharmed!"

"He wasn't mistaken; he can control that mass of flesh and blood!"

"He's always been extraordinary!"

The black goat, Zhong Chichen, and Loong Jie were all aglow with excitement.

Inside the seal, the Demon God Bertain and Lin Daoke, the Master of the Sword Sect, were jolted with a surge of energy. "He's actually emerged unscathed." Bertain blinked, chuckling foolishly, and called out to Yu Yuan, "Kid, can you still see me? It's one thing to enter, but do you have a way out?"

Lin Daoke's gaze, sharp as a sword, remained fixed on the orb of five-colored flesh and blood, as if expecting Yu Yuan to be dragged away by innumerable tentacles at any moment. Yet, nothing of the sort occurred.

"I can see you."

Yu Yuan replied with a smile, acknowledging Bertain.

Zhiya's lips parted, as if she wished to speak, but ultimately, she remained silent. A profound sense of loss flickered in her eyes. Not long before, she had reached through the wall to touch the tentacles that had separated from the flesh and blood, seeking the ultimate Secrets of Life and hoping to capture the Life Seed that should have been etched within.

Her gains were minimal; the envisioned scene of numerous Secrets of Life converging into her palm like rain never materialized. It seemed the most valuable essence of this enigmatic flesh and blood had long been stripped away by someone else.

As Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit entered from the outside, she sensed a remarkable resonance with the flesh and blood emanating from his body, and she knew who the interloper was. When Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit Body had been refined into a heart, she had observed numerous blood-colored spots dotting the surface of the heart.

Those crimson specks were the Secrets of Life, meant to be embedded within the flesh and blood, the very essence of the Primal Blood from the Abyss. Yu Yuan, in his Solar Spirit Body, had traversed the wall sealing that mass of flesh and blood and now stood atop it. The flesh and blood remained still, and Yu Yuan, minuscule in comparison, was the picture of serenity. What did this signify?

Zhiya was engulfed in disappointment. Her grand scheme hinged on the Life Seed of the Chaos Titan, and her mood was souring by the moment. "Why has this happened?"

The Earthfire, round and cautious, only dared to emerge from its armor after Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit had departed. It, along with the sea of flames it inhabited, roared into the void where the Primal Soul lingered. Standing next to Yu Yuan, it asked with bewilderment, "Shouldn't Yu Yuan have been consumed by it, leaving not even a trace of bone behind?"

As one of the Primal Soul's most trusted allies, it was well-versed in the origins and properties of the flesh and blood mass. This entity was firmly sealed within the Wellspring of Creation, forbidden from manifesting in the real world. If it were to escape, it would instantly annihilate a portion of the Star River, causing all beings to rapidly succumb and become part of its blood and vital energy.

It was not permitted to leave the Wellspring of Creation, yet the outside living beings drawn to it could approach without eliciting a response from the Wellspring. In fact, the Primal Soul had been known to lure troublesome or costly-to-kill living creatures toward the Wellspring, enticing them with the scent of blood as a meal.

With its twisted pulsations, no matter how formidable or savage the living creature, it would uncontrollably surge towards the mass. Subsequently, they would be utterly consumed, leaving not even remnants of bone.

Throughout the vast stretches of time, there had been mighty beings capable of resisting the Primal Soul's soulful invasion. Many such vexing entities had been eradicated by the Primal Soul through the Wellspring of Creation. To date, there had been only two exceptions.

The first time, Zhiya used her palm to touch the wall and its tentacles, capturing the Secrets of Life from it.

As Zhiya proceeded, the Primal Soul and he observed clearly from the other side.

Now was the second time.

Yu Yuan, with his Solar Spirit Body, breached the seal to enter the true little world of its existence. He stood atop its flesh and blood, yet remained unswallowed by it!

"After all, I am the one who created the Lord of the Abyss."

After a considerable silence, the mightiest Primal Soul began to murmur to itself. It didn't directly address Yu Yuan's puzzled and bewildered questions. Instead, it remarked, "Having refined the Primal Blood of the Wasteland, Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit has undergone an extraordinary transformation, which has exceeded my expectations. I assumed he would obliterate the Primal Blood of this realm, just as he once destroyed Mother Earth and the Primal Animas."

"He has, after all, done such things quite frequently."

During his reign as the Lord of the Abyss, Yu Yuan was the sharpest weapon in his arsenal, aiding in the elimination of adversaries and understanding precisely how to annihilate the consciousness of Primal Animas.

But this time, an anomaly occurred.

...

The interior of the Wellspring of Creation was a void.

This place bore a resemblance to the emptiness of Brugeth, where Yu Yuan had once been, where everything was consumed by the Maw of Oblivion.

In this vast and empty small world, aside from the mass of flesh and blood as large as a multicolored continent, there was nothing else.

The sun, the moon, the stars, the air, the wind, living creatures, rules, and energy—none existed!

Yu Yuan, utilizing his Solar Spirit Body, sensed only the flesh and blood beneath his feet; all else was absent.

The mass of flesh and blood, now subdued and relatively calm due to the presence of his Solar Spirit Body, contained vital energy so immense that Yu Yuan found it immeasurable.

"Truly, this is the most formidable vital energy in existence!"

He exclaimed in awe.

Recently, at the Peak of Creation, even the vital energy of the Wasteland's Primal Blood, concentrated within the Tree of Life refined by his Solar Spirit, paled in comparison to this mass of flesh and blood!

It seemed unlikely that anything else in the world could boast more extraordinary vital energy.

The Primal Blood from the Origin Realm, the Primal Blood from the Wasteland, and even the combined essence of all deceased Cosmic Giant Beasts paled in comparison to this mass of flesh!

He sensed an immeasurable amount of vital energy suffusing the flesh, a seemingly boundless force.

Yet, the aura within was a tumultuous hodgepodge, as if it were an extraordinary melting pot!

Billions of distinct strands of flesh, blood, and energy were amassed within, as though every formidable being from the Abyss of Truth had been fused into it.

The amalgamation of different species' flesh and blood made this mass exceedingly volatile!

He was exerting every effort to gradually stabilize this instability.

Whoosh!

A colossal black-scaled demon, towering a thousand feet high, struggled to manifest at one edge of the flesh mass.

His lower body melded with the flesh, oozing foul-smelling fluids, his eyes long decayed, now part of the flesh and blood.

He had been dead for untold years, yet the whiff of a rich, sweet scent of blood had stubbornly roused him.

His neck and chest were clad in dark, gleaming scales, akin to black gold.

Hidden within these dark natural scales were the secrets of the Dark Anima, forming intricate and mysterious black patterns.

Yu Yuan, captivated by him, gave a penetrating gaze and said, "Before the Gods emerged in the Abyss, on the concealed lands of Mother Earth, there was a Dark Demon who nearly reached the pinnacle of supremacy. I've heard some of the Dark Demon Clan's legends about you."

"I've also heard that you once attempted to defy your creator, only to suffer severe retribution from the Gods."

"So, you were drawn into the Wellspring of Creation and devoured by this mass of flesh."

Yu Yuan spoke softly.

The deceased Dark Demon remained motionless, simply staring blankly at him.

Whoosh!

A massive green lizard burst forth from a distended flesh bubble, its body secreting a venom capable of corroding all matter, its form shrouded in a kaleidoscope of toxic miasma.

No sooner had the green lizard materialized before Yu Yuan than its flesh began to disintegrate.

Quickly, even its bones dissolved into the flesh.

Yet the Bloodline Revelation it had attained led Yu Yuan to sense a kinship with the essence of the Chaos Serpent's venom, perhaps even more potent than the venom of the Chaos Serpent itself!

It emerged from the Abyss. During Yu Yuan's reign as the Lord of the Abyss, he discovered evidence of its existence in the cave murals of now-extinct Abyssal tribes.

Ancient and immensely powerful, it was known for its wild and rebellious nature.

As a result, the Primal Soul and Dark Anima captured it and brought it to the Wellspring of Creation, where it was consumed and assimilated by the mass of flesh and blood, becoming part of it.

Subsequently, a colossal octopus from the Ashen Clan materialized within the same mass.

This Ashen Clan member, with a body so large its tentacles resembled giant dragons, was exponentially stronger than those slain by Gomez or Yu Yuan during their tenures as Lords of the Abyss.

He was the one who elevated the Ashen Clan to the echelons of the Abyss's mighty races.

Regrettably, he too perished in the Wellspring of Creation, dissolved by the surrounding flesh and blood.

Following him, other formidable beings from the Abyss, who had emerged before the Gods' creation and after Yu Yuan's fall, sensed his vitality and sequentially appeared from within the mass.

Yu Yuan remembered these past Abyssal Overlords; he knew they were from eras different from his own, all born of the Abyss's power.

Like him, these mighty figures had resisted the Dark Anima and Primal Soul.

Their ends were all the same: death.

They were incredibly powerful, perhaps not as much as Yu Yuan during his prime as the Lord of the Abyss, but comparable to the likes of Tan Xiaotian and Lin Daoke.

Even after their bodies were consumed and merged with the flesh and blood, a vestige of their spirit lingered.

This remnant of their spirit exuded a profound sense of discontent and a relentless yearning for vengeance.

"It appears that you've done more than just obliterate the beings and annihilate the Primal Blood in the true Abyss below," Yu Yuan mused, standing atop the mound of flesh and peering at the Primal Soul, which bore his likeness, through the wall.

This gargantuan mass of flesh, larger than any ordinary landmass, was a blend of the Chaos Titan's flesh and that of the intelligent life from the true Abyss. It also contained the remains of the mighty who had once thrived across the seven tiers of the Abyss.

The Primal Soul and the Dark Anima have wreaked havoc on countless formidable beings over the span of billions of years. They were inherently devoid of emotion, merely cold embodiments of rules, and they would stop at nothing to achieve their own advancement and breakthroughs.

The creatures forged from the Primal Blood of the Abyss, along with those they later crafted in the illusory depths, were of no concern to them. Obedient and useful beings were preserved and granted the privilege of bloodline transformation. The disobedient, too weak and useless, were simply erased. Such was the consistent strategy and policy of the Primal Soul and the Dark Anima.

"The flesh and blood is part of the Abyss's Primal Blood. Its spiritual sense has been extinguished by us, and its Secrets of Life were recently extracted by Yu Yuan using the Soul Altar," the Primal Soul finally spoke again within its confinement.

It wasn't addressing Yu Yuan, but rather speaking to the Earthfire, "We are a fusion of spiritual sense, rules, and energy. Only when these three elements are intact can we be considered complete and capable of action."

"It is dead, reduced to nothing but a chaotic clump of vital energy, with the Secrets of Life stripped away."

"It was, in essence, lifeless."

After this revelation, there was a brief pause.

Blazing fire murmured, "Lifeless?"

"Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit Body and his real body previously lacked the insight to grasp the Secrets of Life. But now, Yu Yuan is actively seeking to understand and decode the Secrets of Life it left behind."

"Once Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit Body fully grasps the Secrets of Life, it will be almost as if he has returned with his spiritual sense intact."

With these words, the Primal Soul's expression turned to one of concern, as if it sensed that the situation had suddenly become more complicated.

"In its complete form, it possesses the power to shatter the seal and emerge from the Wellspring of Creation."
