C2234 Invitation to Forge the Supreme Being(2)

He feared that upon entering, he might be annihilated by the mightiest Primal Anima, unable to escape the All Spirits Ban, and that the flesh at the deepest reaches of the Wellspring of Creation would reduce him to a mere wisp of vital energy, vanishing in an instant.

"If Yu Yuan says so, it must be..."

Zhong Chichen seemed uncertain.

"Don't worry."

Yuan Lianyao, present within the Book of Time, offered a reassuring smile. "You go ahead. I might join you."

Whoosh!

A dazzling celestial river burst forth from the Book of Time, cascading towards the All Spirits Ban that shrouded the Wellspring of Creation as soon as Yuan Lianyao spoke.

Within this radiant river, the bloodline chains of the Dark Deity Green Willow transformed into emerald bolts of lightning.

His colossal Dark Deity form shimmered within the waterway.

Whoosh!

The resplendent river breached the wall of the All Spirits Ban. While Loong Jie hesitated, Green Willow had already manifested within the enclosure.

Suspended in midair, the river sparkled as Green Willow's Demon Heart refined the bloodline chains into verdant lightning. His massive serpentine body undulated, making waves in the celestial flow.

The azure-green serpent stirred up the waters, flicking out his tongue in the realm of the All Spirits Ban, hunting for something.

Abruptly, droplets of crystal-clear water materialized in the once empty void.

Each droplet seemed to contain its own separate aquatic universe, holding the true essence of water left by the departed Primal Anima.

Green Willow ensnared the glistening droplets with his tongue, drawing them back to his taste buds.

His Demonic Eyes gleamed with excitement and fervor as his serpentine form sprouted dense scales, growing ever more powerful.

Two peculiar horns, one blue and one green, jutted from his forehead, exuding an otherworldly presence as they emitted the sound of mighty rivers, concealing boundless secrets.

Above, the Primal Soul watched the emergence of the celestial river with a detached gaze, observing Green Willow as he scoured the world for the true essence of water with his Water Demon Heart.

It let out a soft hum of indifference.

He could clearly sense that as Green Willow absorbed the water droplets with a serpentine finesse, the water essence of the Cosmic Order and the water essence that had merged with the All Spirits Ban were integrating into Green Willow's body.

He raised his hand, intending to sever the connection between the water droplets and Green Willow, to halt Green Willow's path of advancement, but to his surprise, he found himself unable to do so.

After Yu Yuan's main body arrived and the Eight Level Soul Altar was summoned, the All Spirits Ban began to show signs of instability. It no longer operated as smoothly as before.

His gaze flickered with an unusual brilliance as he turned his attention to Loong Jie and Yuan Lianyao, who was poised to act.

"This guy has some nerve!"

"He's really daring to steal a meal from the jaws of a tiger!"

The Death Viper and smilodon at the Beast God Temple were stunned by Green Willow's audacious actions.

These two Beast Gods, possessing the Life Keychain and ranking among the top five in combat power within the Wasteland's Beast Gods, had initially underestimated Green Willow's strength.

Yet, it was this Origin Realm peer, whom they had not considered very formidable, who now had the courage to risk it all in pursuit of the true essence of water.

Green Willow had earned their newfound respect.

"Loong Jie, what are you waiting for? If you miss this opportunity, you may never reach the pinnacle in your lifetime!"

Zhong Chichen bellowed.

Spurred by Zhong Chichen's urging, Loong Jie, who was astounded by Green Willow's display, hesitated no longer. Transforming into a bolt of golden lightning, he too plunged into the All Spirits Ban.

"I'm coming!"

...

The Abyss of Truth.

Yu Yiyi, Qi Yunhong, Ballo, and Brie of the Shadowkin remained with their gazes fixed upward, watching the sealed sky after Bertain and Lin Daoke had departed.

In the deathly silence of the Abyss of Truth, there was no energy to draw upon, no concept of time to grasp.

They yearned to shatter their prison, to return to the familiar world, to reunite with their kin and old friends.

The barrier overhead represented their sole chance of escape, their final bastion of hope.

Gradually, they noticed a significant loss of energy within the additional layers of the seal.

The Tree of Life within the Abyss possessed the unique ability to sense plant essence. It had drifted to some unknown location within the barrier, causing the seal above to weaken slightly.

Suddenly, Yu Yiyi, who was in the Abyss of Truth, picked up on a message from Yu Yuan's real body. Her face lit up with surprise. The transmission of Yu Yuan's message indicated that his real body, previously lost within the barrier, was no longer entirely constrained. He had managed to attain a degree of freedom and autonomy.

"Strange," she murmured, her brow furrowed. The message she received felt as though it had originated from another world, and it left her stunned.

After a brief pause, she addressed the leaders of the Starborn and the Shadowkin: "My master has a request. He hopes you will venture into the barrier sealing the Abyss. He believes your chance to ascend to supreme status lies within. Are you willing to take the risk?"

"To ascend to supreme status?" Brie echoed, his gaze instinctively drawn to the Tree of Life. He pondered, "If this Tree of Life is willing to cultivate me, to grant me its inherent truth of plant life, I could ascend to supreme status. Why should I abandon the essential for the trivial?"

The Tree of Life's branches rustled, its withered leaves emitting an eerie sound, as if to chastise Brie's wishful thinking. You are but decaying wood, incapable of being sculpted, unworthy of the plant magic.

"My life was saved by Yu Yuan. Whether or not I can become a supreme being, I am willing to risk it all for him," Ballo declared. Known for his steadiness and reticence, he barely hesitated, foregoing any further inquiries or requests for additional information from Yu Yiyi. With the resolve of a shooting star, he plunged into the celestial seal.

His mind was clear. Yu Yiyi had relayed Yu Yuan's wish for him to enter, and that was all the assurance he needed. Regardless of whether he would be forever ensnared by the seal or face a dire destiny, since Yu Yuan had rescued him from the Everlands, he was prepared to brave the unknown as a gesture of gratitude.

Ballo, transformed into a meteor, lingered in the seal overhead for only an instant before vanishing. As if beckoned by an unseen force, he disappeared from the watchful eyes of Qi Yunhong, Yu Yiyi, and Brie.

It was reminiscent of the real bodies of Bertain, Lin Daoke, and Yu Yuan.

"There's another region on the other side, connected to the heavens. Yu Yuan's true form, the Demon God Bertain, and Lin Daoke have all gone there!" Qi Yunhong was itching to join Ballo and see for himself.

But the Thunder Spirit within the Tree of Life urgently intervened.

The eleventh tier of the All Spirits Ban was still under its dominion.

There would be no new gains for Qi Yunhong if he went. If he aspired to ascend to supremacy, the Thunder Spirit could make it happen while still alive, without reliance on anything else.

It refused to let Qi Yunhong gamble with danger.

"Let it be," Qi Yunhong muttered, shaking his head in frustration, not daring to defy the Thunder Spirit.

"If you've got the courage, then so do I!"

Brie, spurned by the Tree of Life, watched Ballo vanish. Reflecting on Yu Yuan's renown, he too plunged into the depths of the seal, vanishing in an instant.
