C2244 The Primal Beast and the Original Source

The Phoenix Shrine reemerged above the Purple Sea.

Yu Zhu and the mountainous Astral Tiger emerged from the hall, only to be astonished at Zhiya's sudden disappearance.

"Where's the Hall Master?"

The Astral Tiger's brow furrowed deeply, his aura bristling with barely contained lethal intent as he demanded, "Golden Deer, can anyone explain what has transpired in such a brief moment?"

"The Hall Master has entered the Dragon Slaying Stage," responded the golden deer.

"Dragon Slaying Stage..."

Upon hearing this, Yu Zhu's face softened considerably, her previously taut nerves seeming to unwind.

She cast a meaningful glance at Yu Yuan, who stood upon the patchwork of vibrant flesh, gripping the blood-red Dragon Slaying Stage, and reassured, "Alright, there should be no danger."

A glimmer of hope flickered in Yu Zhu's eyes.

She seemed to harbor a quiet yearning for her mother and Yu Yuan to mend their rift within the Dragon Slaying Stage.

...

Within the Dragon Slaying Stage, a phantom of Yu Yuan materialized, shaped by the merging of his thoughts and Divine Sense.

"What's this about a young Chaos Titan in the purple sea?"

The stature of Yu Yuan's phantom loomed godlike, radiating the dominion of one who commands the celestial realms.

Inside the Dragon Slaying Stage, he experienced a sensation akin to the Primal Soul of the Abyss amidst the All Spirits Ban.

Zhiya, with her exquisite form, did not acknowledge the question, acting as if Yu Yuan had never spoken.

She was anything but an outsider.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

The divine force within the Dragon Slaying Stage surged from all directions toward her. Struggling to locate the source of her power, she eagerly absorbed the spiritual energy once she realized it matched the Everlands' essence.

The stream-like flow of pure spiritual energy began to rejuvenate her wounded limbs and mend the tears in her flesh.

Meanwhile, her piercing, intelligent phoenix eyes purposefully avoided Yu Yuan's phantom, her attention riveted on the colossal Life Seeds drifting across the sky within the Dragon Slaying Stage.

Each Life Seed was a testament to the Bloodline Revelation of the mighty races dwelling in the Abyss of Truth.

As she observed them, the intricate bloodline chains within the Life Seeds were etched into her memory, becoming an intrinsic part of her, while she continued to decipher the embedded Secrets of Life.

At this moment, she stood on the Dragon Slaying Stage, channeling the essence of life and blood much like Loong Jie and Green Willow did within the All Spirits Ban.

The Life Seeds that Yu Yuan had branded onto the stage's surface, masking her presence, were the very Laws of Life she could sense and absorb.

The Primal Blood, birthed from the Abyss of Truth and the essence of the Chaos Titan, was an object of her deepest desire!

Her previous rage stemmed from Yu Yuan stripping her of the rare treasure she believed was hers for the taking.

In the realm within the Dragon Slaying Stage, she could now not only heal her wounds with the divine force but also seize the chance to grasp the Secrets of Life that she could discern and internalize.

She harbored a sense of gratitude for her narrow escape from disaster.

"I'm speaking to you!" Yu Yuan interjected with a cold huff.

Zhiya gave him an annoyed glance and, after a brief contemplation, responded, "Before you arrived, I could mimic the aura of that flesh and blood with my own strength. But once you stood there, even in my calmest state, using the life power I had grasped, I still couldn't conceal it."

Zhiya deftly sidestepped his question, choosing not to answer Yu Yuan directly.

"I'm in this predicament because of you! Had you not been here, I might have entered without facing any attacks!" Zhiya accused him instead.

Yu Yuan reflected for a moment, remembering that in his absence, Zhiya had managed to draw out tendrils from the flesh and blood by pressing her hand against the clear seal, deciphering bits of the Secrets of Life.

At that time, Zhiya had utilized a fraction of the Secrets of Life she had decoded from Yu Zhu's soul.

Yet, with his arrival and his intrusion into the flesh and blood, she could no longer shield herself with that life force from the flesh and blood.

Consequently, Zhiya faced the relentless assault of the Abyss's overlords, enduring continuous attacks even as she was drained of her strength.

She was now inextricably linked to the bloodlust of this mass of flesh.

"I'm not concerned with that."

Yu Yuan shook his head, his phantom under the crimson sky looking stern and resolute. "What I want to know is how you managed to summon the young Chaos Titan from the violet sea?"

He had incubated the little spinosaurus from a violet gold dragon egg.

Zhiya successfully hatched another little spinosaurus from a dragon egg.

Creating a young Chaos Titan was no simple feat for her.

The Abyss of Truth had long been destroyed, yet the illusory seven-layered Abyss still housed the Abyssal Gate.

Previously, only the Origin Deity, Arthurs, could traverse between the two realms, and even then, only his soul could pass through, leaving his physical form behind.

Zhiya had learned of the Chaos Titan's existence solely through the imprint of her soul's origin, but that alone wasn't enough to bring forth a young Primal Beast of the Chaos Titan.

There had to be more to the story.

"This is unrelated to Yu Zhu's issue."

When Yu Yuan persisted with the question, Zhiya's demeanor turned icy as she responded, "I've already answered your earlier question."

Whoosh!

The Life Seeds drifting in the crimson sky vanished without a trace.

Gazing skyward, Zhiya, who had been fervently inscribing the Secrets of Life contained within the Life Seeds into her bloodline, panicked at their sudden disappearance.

Then, she witnessed the Abyssal overlords, born of her own flesh and blood, materialize outside the Dragon Slaying Stage.

Thud! Thud! Thud!

The Abyssal creatures, drawn by the scent of her blood, assaulted the Dragon Slaying Stage, intent on breaching it to end her life.

She was well aware that the barrier of the Dragon Slaying Stage, which had concealed her scent, had been nullified by a mere thought from Yu Yuan.

Now visible and detectable to the creatures outside, they were relentlessly attacking the Dragon Slaying Stage, determined to continue their pursuit to kill her.

"I can only divulge one more detail."

Despite her visible rage, Zhiya, faced with a life-or-death crisis, still chose to disclose more information.

"These so-called Chaos Titans are referred to as Primal Beasts by those from the Abyss. The genesis of my little Primal Beast is intertwined with the essence of our Everlands. Moreover, its initial growth is heavily dependent on that very essence. It has yet to mature, and my plan, once the affairs of the Wasteland are settled, is to hunt down the supreme entities of the Everlands and nourish it with their essence."

Under the pressure from Yu Yuan, Zhiya let slip a startling revelation.

The Chaos Titans of the true Abyss were known as Primal Beasts by the Primal Soul of the Abyss, and astonishingly, the Primal Beast she nurtured in the Violet Sea had its origins linked to the essence of the Everlands.

The growth of the Primal Beast is highly dependent on the origin!

The Primal Soul, refined from the Heart of the Everlands, can elevate humans to the highest echelons, allowing the primordial spirit to materialize. It's astonishing to discover such a utility!

Yu Yuan then remembered that Zhiya had imprisoned the original sources of the Astral Tiger, the golden deer, and Yu Zhu. Could it be that they were all used to nurture that little Primal Beast?

Contemplating this earth-shattering revelation, Yu Yuan mused, "Could this information stem from the memories I've lost, residing in Yu Zhu's mind?"

"No. I first learned of the Chaos Titan's existence and the existence of a deathly silent Abyss. It took a considerable amount of time to uncover the details about the Primal Beast," Zhiya responded, then added, "As for how I came across this information and the secrets between the Primal Beast and the origin, you'll have to find those answers yourself."

"That's all I'm willing to share!"

With that declaration, Zhiya refused to answer any further questions from Yu Yuan.

After much questioning to no avail, Yu Yuan acknowledged her silence with a nod, conceding, "Very well."

With his words, a new array of Life Seeds materialized in the heavens within the Dragon Slaying Stage.

These reemerging Life Seeds had already been etched into Zhiya's memory and bloodline through her observation.

The Life Seeds she had mastered also ensured that the creatures of the Abyss no longer lurked with predatory intent.

Yet, she was unable to glean further Secrets of Life from these Life Seeds.

Clearly, as a deity within the Dragon Slaying Stage, Zhiya could understand the Life Seeds and the knowledge Yu Yuan had covertly committed to memory.

"If you seek more profound Secrets of Life from the Abyss World, and wish for a variety of Life Seeds to emerge, then provide me with information about the Primal Beast and the Origin," Yu Yuan's phantom implored before fading to a mere wisp.

Zhiya remained silent, not immediately addressing Yu Yuan's request. Instead, she focused on harnessing the divine force from the Dragon Slaying Stage, intent on healing her wounds first.

...

Within the All Spirits Ban.

Loong Jie cackled menacingly as he coiled his massive golden dragon form, transforming into a formidable and towering human shape. With a dragon's bellow, he proclaimed, "It's about time. I am nearly at the eleventh level of supremacy!"

"Now, I just need to get used to my new bloodline and adapt to my new dragon body!"

Unsurprisingly, this golden dragon was the first to ascend to supreme status.

"Excellent."

High above in the void, after a prolonged silence, Yu Yuan gave a slight nod in the guise of Loong Jie, seemingly quite pleased with Loong Jie's progression.

"A supreme being ascended through the power of metal magic is indeed a rare treasure. Very good indeed."

He squinted slightly.

"You wish to shatter the All Spirits Ban, to free everyone, and to take that piece of flesh with you," he said softly, his profound and enigmatic gaze shifting from Loong Jie to Yu Yuan. "But there's no need for such trouble. I can lift the seal and allow that flesh to emerge."

"However, have you considered what the Wasteland will become once it's released?"

Both Yu Yuans' faces turned pale at the thought.

The Abyss of Truth was etched deeply into Yu Yuan's memory. He had not yet fully deciphered the Secrets of Life hidden within the peculiar flesh suppressed by the All Spirits Ban.

Only when his real body's Soul Altar had fully grasped the Secrets of Life at the highest level could he truly master that piece of flesh and refine it for his own use.

If it were to happen now, he had no confidence that he could contain it once the flesh was freed from the All Spirits Ban.

He could only ensure his own safety or, as he had done with Zhiya, draw those he wished to protect into the fray.

"You've always been mistaken."

His scornful gaze landed on Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit, which stood atop the flesh, and he said, "Before you can control it, you should have prayed for the All Spirits Ban to remain. Your real body must continue to resist the infiltration of my will, and it has been quite some time since you've delved into the Secrets of Life inherent in the Primal Blood."
