C2305 The Vague Truth

As Yu Zhu emerged, numerous void cracks that had previously been concealed flickered back into visibility.

The fissures sprawled across the cosmos, with the Phoenix Shrine and the Beast God Temple coming into view. The alarmed beast gods caught the attention of Yu Yuan, Taishi, and their companions.

Following Zhiya's guidance, the Void's Maelstrom that she had forged was designed to prevent the vast expanse of flesh and blood from harvesting the alien beasts of the Stellar Phoenix to extinction.

At this juncture, Qi Yunhong and Yu Yiyi made their appearances, and Taishi too emerged, signaling that Yu Yuan had fully mastered the flesh and blood that had decimated the life in the Wasteland.

She was also aware that the conflict in the Frostlands had concluded. Besides the demise of the little spinosaurus in the Purple Sea, there were no other casualties.

"Mother is above the Abyss of Truth," she announced. "She's going to attempt to break the All Spirits Ban."

Yu Zhu soared out of the slender void crack, positioning herself in the Stellar Phoenix, and declared, "If it's a matter of confronting him, we're ready to lend our strength."

"You?" Mother Earth from the Peak of Creation surveyed the Beast God behind Yu Zhu with a dismissive shake of her head. "You dare to offer help without a supreme being among you?"

"Do you underestimate us?" challenged the Astral Tiger with a cold huff.

"Indeed," Mother Earth admitted unabashedly. She gestured towards Taishi, newly ascended to supreme status, and stated, "He alone could annihilate a beast horde lacking Zhiya's presence. Aside from this young lady who can hold her own with the support of the Phoenix Shrine, who among you could rival Taishi?"

Taishi offered a knowing smile and added, "Astral Tiger, I'll be frank: until you reach the eleventh level, you're simply not up to the challenge."

The Astral Tiger's breath grew labored, his pupils ablaze with a wild light, seemingly eager for a confrontation.

The golden deer, Iron-winged Bird, and Darkgold Beast also showed signs of restlessness.

"Do you truly seek death?" Qi Yunhong burst into hearty laughter as a vast pool of lightning emerged amidst the void cracks. The intense, densely packed silver bolts conveyed a lethal intent that swiftly brought the Beast Gods to their senses.

"Enough," Yu Yuan interjected, gesturing for Mother Earth and Qi Yunhong to cease their bickering. He turned to Yu Zhu and inquired, "What does she intend to do?"

Yu Zhu lowered her head and whispered, "To find... the truth."

"The truth?"

Yu Yuan's confusion deepened. "The Abyss has been destroyed, all living beings perished, and the Primal Anima have fallen. Only the ultimate truth remains, branded within the All Spirits Ban. In an Abyss devoid of energy, with nothing but the remnants of the Chaos Titan, what truth is there left to uncover?"

"Mother mentioned that it's not just the Abyss that's been destroyed; there are other worlds as well," Yu Zhu murmured.

Her words seemed to stir something within Mother Earth, Taishi, and the colossal Tree of Life.

Not just the Abyss?

Could there be other worlds that have been extinguished by the mightiest Primal Anima, now lying as eternal realms of deathly silence?

"I'll have a look!"

With a mere thought, Yu Yuan tapped into the Soul Altar within his sea of consciousness to search for Dark Phoenix Zhiya. Indeed, he saw her standing atop a towering violet gold totem-pole, suspended above the purple sea.

A flicker of intensity crossed Yu Yuan's face at the sight of the violet gold totem-pole, but it quickly faded.

He then noticed the All Spirits Ban shimmering beneath the purple sea, covering the Abyss.

Since Zhiya had relocated the Purple Sea from the Frostlands to hover over the Abyss of Truth, the distance between them had grown vast, making it increasingly challenging for him to maintain a connection.

The sheer distance meant expending significant energy just to glimpse Zhiya and the purple sea.

Engrossed in deciphering the Life Seeds, he was reluctant to squander more energy, which is why he hadn't paid much attention before.

Prompted by Yu Zhu's reminder, he now turned his gaze back to Zhiya, intent on understanding what she and the menacing creature within the purple sea were plotting.

Curiously, the world where Zhiya now resided was the divine land she had forged with the Dark Anima.

Currently, this divine land was shifting towards the Wasteland, passing through the Genesis Continent and the All Spirits Ban. The Star River of the Wasteland was slowly being shrouded in darkness.

Yet, the place that should have been shrouded in perpetual darkness was now bathed in the radiant glow of the All Spirits Ban.

Thump! Thump! Thump!

Suddenly, a strong heartbeat emanated from Yu Yuan's real body. Instinctively, he looked down at his chest, only to find it utterly still, without the slightest rise or fall. Then, he made a profound discovery! Deep within his sea of consciousness, within the highest tier of the Soul Altar, a vibrant red heart had appeared on the Blood Altar! This heart, riddled with numerous apertures, resembled the pocked surface of an Eiwrone.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! From the multicolored flesh, he had extracted Life Seeds. Those that had unlocked the Secrets of Life were now drawn to the heart's apertures. With each Life Seed that entered, the scarlet heart grew stronger. A deep red glow, akin to sacred light, radiated from this enigmatic heart, its hue and form nearly identical to the Tree of Life and the dangling red stalactites.

Chaotic memories surged through his mind, their deeper meanings elusive. Thump! Thump! Thump! The heart pulsed vigorously, engulfing Life Seeds and swelling in strength. Throughout this process, the original form of the Primal Blood, as represented by the stalactites, was gradually taking shape on the Blood Altar.

Yu Yuan was dumbfounded. He had believed the Primal Blood, associated with extreme cold, had been refined by him at some unknown time. On closer inspection, he discovered that flanking the pulsating, colossal scarlet heart were a Tree of Life and a stalactite, like divine blood-related entities positioned to the left and right of the heart. It was a scene of utter natural harmony, as if it had always been meant to be.

The heart! Yu Yuan's spirit was profoundly shaken. Having visited the Heart of the Everlands, he knew that the original form of the mysterious Primal Blood of the Abyss was indeed a heart! That very heart had given rise to all life in the Abyss, spawned the Chaos Titan, and led to its destruction.

He could never have imagined that, upon fully grasping the final essence of the Abyss's Primal Blood, a heart would suddenly emerge on the Blood Altar. Moreover, it had perfectly recreated the initial visage of the Primal Blood, imprinting it upon the Blood Altar. Yu Yuan was uncertain of the implications, but he could feel that the Primal Blood still existed near Zionidall, maintaining its distinct consciousness.

It wasn't like the Tree of Life, which lost all its spiritual sense after being refined and consumed by him.

"Strange..."

As Yu Yuan was muttering to himself, he suddenly overheard the conversation between the Primal Blood of the Origin Realm and the extreme cold.

Yu Yuan could deeply feel the terror emanating from the Primal Blood near Zionidall, even across the vast void.

...

In the Origin Realm, within Zionidall, numerous crimson stalactites dangled from the interior of a prismatic ice crystal. Countless intertwining crimson lightning bolts emitted a blinding brilliance.

"I, I..."

The spiritual sense of the Primal Blood flitted about inside the ice, frantic and fearful.

Each scarlet lightning bolt seemed like a nerve, a conduit for its consciousness. "I, I feel like..." The Primal Blood stuttered, struggling to articulate its thoughts.

Extreme Coldness had never witnessed Primal Blood in such a state of terror and was at a loss as to why it was so frightened.

"What happened?" Extreme Coldness inquired.

"The other me was dragged into Yu Yuan's Soul Altar. At this moment, I seem to recall memories that have been sealed for eons. I, I appear to be from..."

The Primal Blood halted.

Extreme Coldness grew increasingly anxious, persistently probing with his consciousness, "Where are you from?"

After what felt like an eternity, the entity rooted in the Origin Realm, representing the source of all life's blood, spoke hesitantly, "I seem to be the Primal Blood from... the Abyss."

"Ah!?"

Extreme Coldness was utterly astounded.

"It's not just me; the Primal Blood in the Wasteland also originates from... Him."

The transmission of messages from the Primal Blood beside Zionidall slowed, as if it were piecing together thoughts and seeking ancient memories buried for billions of years. "Like that individual who split off a Root of the Solar Meridian, my counterpart in the Wasteland and I were both cleaved from Him."

"In different worlds, we scattered Life Seeds, giving rise to new creatures."

"Yet our source is the Abyss. Back then, the Origin Realm and the Wasteland were desolate, devoid of life, allowing us to evolve freely. Ultimately, through the creatures we created in these two distinct worlds, we evolved into our current forms," it explained to Extreme Coldness.

Extreme Coldness was taken aback, murmuring to herself, "Just like the Tree of Life planting a branch in the Origin Realm, resulting in the emergence of the Uxthar Tree? And Mother Earth, did she bequeath the Phoenix Ashes?"

"Yes."

His spiritual sense was tinged with bitterness.

He had always believed that he was born in the Origin Realm, the creator of all life in this world, and that the Secrets of Life he wielded were innate to him.

But suddenly, he came to the stark realization that he was merely a fragment of a higher order of Primal Blood.
