C2307 The Dark Phoenix Was Heavily Injured

"Yes."

He spoke with earnest conviction, explaining, "Our struggle has spanned so many years. Sometimes you emerge victorious, other times I do. Regardless of the outcome, both of us are constantly evolving and advancing."

"That's good to hear."

He smiled subtly, and within the depths of his dark green eyes, Yu Yuan could distinctly see the rule of destruction manifest before it abruptly vanished.

Yu Yuan was correct in his assumption. Since Bertain was the supreme soul, the big devil's newly acquired rule of destruction was intricate, and without any special means of shielding, it resonated directly with him.

Just as when Yu Yuan had understood the essence within the lifeblood of the alien beast obtained through the Solar Spirit, it too would resonate with the Primal Blood.

"Do I win at times as well?"

Yu Yuan asked, his face etched with astonishment.

"Of course."

He affirmed, his gaze laden with significance as he glanced several times at the massive slab of flesh beneath Yu Yuan's feet, adding, "Our conflict spans even further back than your current knowledge."

Yu Yuan's thoughts stirred.

"Does this flesh seem familiar to you?"

The dark green eye, concealed within, was encircled by the third All Spirits Ban and began to shift in the darkness.

The eye moved away from the shadows, positioning itself before Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit, hovering over the flesh.

"There is a sense of familiarity."

Yu Yuan nodded, reflecting briefly before he ventured, "Back then, you lacked the ability to refine and understand the Secrets of Life from the Primal Blood of the Abyss. Did you somehow use it to create me and the other denizens of the Abyss?"

"Hehe."

He simply shook his head, smiling enigmatically.

As Yu Yuan prepared to inquire further, he spoke with a detached tone, "We shouldn't be like this."

"Then how should we be?"

"Just like we were before."

Following their exchange, silence enveloped them once more.

He suddenly furrowed his brow, expressing displeasure, "That troublesome individual always finds a way to stir up issues."

"Hmm!"

In the next instant, Yu Yuan sensed a disturbance from the All Spirits Ban in another world.

The All Spirits Ban, which covered the Abyss of Truth, was under assault from Zhiya, unleashing a flurry of minuscule lightning sparks.

The Dark Phoenix wielded a violet gold totem-pole, and from the expansive sea of purple demon energy behind her, a roar powerful enough to shatter worlds erupted.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Under Zhiya's command, the massive violet gold totem pole towered with even greater majesty than Yuan Le's "Celestial Pillar of Life."

The divine radiance and evil spells it unleashed managed to collide directly with the true essence of the Primal Anima in the world, even after being sealed.

A dazzling river of water, representing the ultimate evolution of its element, encountered an evil spell. The spell morphed into the form of an Abyssal Leviathan, consuming the river's waters and absorbing the Dao into its being.

Once the evil spell transformed into the Abyssal Leviathan, it burst apart, and the resplendent river ceased to exist.

The Dao, a manifestation of the Primal Anima, was obliterated within the sealed barrier by Zhiya's method.

The totem pole continued to emit divine light and more evil spells, targeting the glacier, golden palace, miniature land, and the eerie giant tree, undermining the foundation of the All Spirits Ban.

"Do you really think you have me at a disadvantage?"

In the vast darkness, the Primal Soul within the green-black pupils was enraged by Zhiya's actions.

"Just wait a moment."

No sooner had he spoken than Jihui, the vessel of possession, emerged within the depths of the splendid barrier.

Jihui's body, having been refined repeatedly and marked with numerous bloodline rules by the Heart of the Everlands, now shone like crystal, emanating a potent energy field.

The God-King Jihui, adept in the powers of soul and space, was an excellent candidate for possession.

At that moment, he used Jihui's form to breach the All Spirits Ban above the Abyss of Truth.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

The All Spirits Ban, enveloping the Abyss of Truth, surged toward the violet sea, and the Primal Anima's laws within the seals dazzled as they emerged.

Jihui's form swelled boundlessly within the seal, swiftly growing colossal and imposing, like a divine being wielding the Cosmic Order.

He manipulated the stars, turned the sun and moon into a cosmic wheel, and stood upon the golden earth to confront the Dark Phoenix Zhiya.

Crack! Snap!

Beneath his feet, the golden earth erupted with billions of golden lightning bolts, innumerable ice spires, boulders, and life-draining withered branches.

Suddenly, a sea of flames erupted, and thunder boomed, signaling the world's descent into destruction.

Zhiya, momentarily dazed, realized she and the purple sea were engulfed by the All Spirits Ban.

"A mere speck of light dares to challenge the sun and the moon."

With a wave of its hand, the Primal Soul, in the form of Jihui, caused the myriad of splendid Dao manifestations to fall into the purple sea, submerging both the Dark Phoenix and Zhiya.

Rip! Rip!

One after another, blinding bolts of Divine Thunder, symbols of the Cosmic Order, cleaved through the purple sea like radiant sabers.

Eleven strikes of Divine Thunder, like eleven divine sabers, tore the purple sea asunder.

In the form of a purple phoenix, Zhiya glided among the divine sabers, her feathers drifting like autumn leaves within the All Spirits Ban.

Moments later, Zhiya was riddled with wounds.

Having consumed the Lord of Ruin, Yuan Le, and the little spinosaurus, the grown Chaos Titan transformed into a massive purple orb of light within the All Spirits Ban as the purple sea shattered.

The purple orb of light quivered, as if shivering in dread of impending doom.

It shook its head coldly and frowned, muttering, "Seeking death, are you?"

A kaleidoscope of lights and piercing lightning relentlessly struck the purple orb, eliciting anguished roars from the dire beast within.

Elsewhere, in the Ashlands, Lin Daoke was besieged by Han Miaoyuan and the Grand Sword Immortals of the Sword Sect. He had lost all patience for their ramblings.

Lin Daoke was about to depart on his sword when, suddenly, a surge of greenish-black light burst forth from the depths of the Everlands.

As the greenish-black light emerged, even someone as mighty as Han Miaoyuan instinctively gave way.

The light surged directly toward Lin Daoke, enveloping him just as he was about to leave, and yanked him down forcefully.

"Little Lin!" Han Miaoyuan cried out in alarm.

"Sect Master!" The elders and disciples of the Sword Sect also screamed in terror, mistakenly thinking their Sect Master had finally lost patience and struck a deadly blow.

Zu Ann, Tan Junshan, and Jun Chen were all taken aback by the unfolding scene, uncertain of what was happening.

"No, no, that's not it. He's not out to execute Little Lin!"

Han Miaoyuan was the first to pick up on the transmitted message. He quickly reassured the Grand Sword Immortals of the Sword Sect, smiling as he said, "He has taken Little Lin to another place."

"Where to?"

Yue Mu, anxiously licking his lips, implored, "Mr. Han, our Sect Master has poured his heart and soul into serving the Gods of the Everlands. You must help him, no matter what!"

"I understand, I get it. There's no need for concern."

Han Miaoyuan, ever composed, gestured for everyone to remain calm.

He hadn't realized just how significant Lin Daoke was in the eyes of the others.

...

In the Abyss of Truth.

Just as Yu Yuan had been before, Lin Daoke found himself transported by the power of the Demon God Bertain to a world they had both glimpsed within the All Spirits Ban.

The entire world lay in utter stillness, devoid of any divine force.

Before him were fragments of stars and chaos, as well as numerous Chaos Titans, their true forms obscured, tethered to the cosmos.

The sheer size of these terrifying Chaos Titans, so close at hand, left Lin Daoke utterly astounded.

The true Abyss had to be unimaginably vast to accommodate such colossal Chaos Titans.

Suddenly, from the dazzling All Spirits Ban above, a bloodstained purple phoenix plummeted.

The wounded purple phoenix, its wings riddled with holes, had lost its once graceful beauty. As its mystical feathers cascaded down like a shower of blood, there was no purple sea to receive them, no force to restore its power.

Inside the All Spirits Ban, the purple sea it had refined was missing, and the dire beast had become a massive purple orb of light.

Within the orb, a faint wraith-like figure of the purple phoenix could be seen, as if it had been miniaturized a million times.

Jihui, now in possession of the body, stood atop the vast purple orb, bombarding it with the Dao Image that emanated from the All Spirits Ban's Primal Anima rule.

The phoenix inside the orb let out a piercing scream, clearly suffering immense pain.

Above the orb, the figure looked down upon the wounded Zhiya and Lin Daoke, whom he had brought from the Ashlands.

"The battle between you two has yet to conclude. Here, in this ravaged Abyss, you will fight to the death. The survivor will be granted permission to leave this place."

He pronounced their fate.

Zhiya, having shattered the barriers between the Origin Realm and the Wasteland, returned to the Origin Realm from the Wasteland after hunting down several supreme beings to acquire their Origin. She even eradicated the little spinosaurus.

But when he finally had the chance to intervene, when he was truly provoked, Zhiya met her defeat.

Lin Daoke, the leader of the Sword Sect, was dispatched to the Abyss of Truth by him before he could make contact.

The two most formidable figures of the new era in the Everlands were pinned down by him in the Abyss of Truth, crushed under the weight of the All Spirits Ban, left to battle each other to the death.

...

"They have never been of any consequence to me."

In the shadowy expanse ahead, he, taking the form of Yu Yuan within his eyes, shook his head with contempt.

He was aware that Yu Yuan could observe Zhiya's current plight through his real body.

He was conscious that the three All Spirits Ban he governed were also within Yu Yuan's keen perception.

It was akin to his own ability to detect Yu Yuan's "Soul Altar" and to acquire the powers from the eight layers beneath the ninth.

"This newly born Chaos Titan is somewhat intriguing."

He paused momentarily. The violet orb that hovered above the Abyss of Truth suddenly traversed the Infinite Galaxy and materialized within the All Spirits Ban.

The three All Spirits Ban were interconnected, allowing him to extract items from any one of them.

"Would you care to see what makes it so extraordinary?"

He boldly offered up the violet orb containing a mature Chaos Titan, tossing it towards Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit Body.
