C2308 Complete Suppression
Whoosh!
A deep purple orb of light drifted toward Yu Yuan, reminiscent of a mysterious star.
Yu Yuan was somewhat taken aback, puzzled as to why it had been sent his way. Upon closer inspection, he found the orb bore a striking resemblance to the Primal Blood Continent, previously encased in a prismatic ice crystal.
The orb was brimming with vast and potent vital energy, while the mature Chaos Titan inside carefully concealed itself, seemingly uneasy.
Yet, in the presence of Yu Yuan and the Primal Soul, it had no place to hide.
"The time has come for you, little purple phoenix, to face the consequences of your actions."
As the orb floated away, it spoke with a serene tone, "Given your nature, it's surprising you've let her live this long. Ah, now I recall, you share a special bond with that girl, Yu Zhu."
Yu Yuan's icy gaze shifted from the orb to the Chaos Titan, who wisely chose to say no more.
The Chaos Titan within the orb let out a soft whimper, shrinking from the size of a fist to that of a grain of rice.
It attempted to evade the scrutiny of Yu Yuan and the Primal Soul by doing so. Accustomed to the depths of the purple sea, it was reluctant to reveal itself to these two formidable beings.
"Futile effort," Yu Yuan murmured, shaking his head.
He hadn't anticipated that Zhiya, usually so troublesome, would succumb so swiftly under the Primal Soul's full might.
At that moment, both Zhiya and Lin Daoke had been cast into the real Abyss by the Primal Soul through different means.
Stripped of her access to the Purple Sea and bereft of the adult Chaos Titan, Zhiya had also sustained severe injuries upon her fall.
In such dire straits, the Dark Phoenix Zhiya and the formidable Lin Daoke were fated to a life-or-death struggle in the Abyss.
Suddenly, Yu Yuan grew curious about whether the epic battle had actually unfolded in the Abyss of Truth.
With that, he sought to witness it through his real body.
His eyes sparkled with excitement as his perception effortlessly pierced the All Spirits Ban, reaching directly into the silent expanse of the Abyss of Truth!
His real body's heart, situated on the tenth level of the Blood Altar, throbbed vigorously, resonating with his heightened senses.
With each heartbeat, Yu Yuan gained an extraordinary insight into the world, unfettered by the All Spirits Ban!
This was a stark contrast to the helplessness he felt when he was ensnared in the Abyss of Truth!
In a flash, he had zeroed in on Dark Phoenix Zhiya, observing her every subtle move.
It was as though an alternate will of his hovered above the Abyss of Truth, watching over Zhiya, who was frowning and hesitating, as well as Lin Daoke.
At that moment, he was once again enveloped by the familiar sensation of dominion over a realm.
Upon his real body's initial descent into the seventh layer of the Abyss of Truth, he, as the Lord of the Abyss, naturally resonated with the cosmic order of the entire world.
Laws, the Way of Heaven, energies, and creatures were all within his grasp and perception.
His current experience mirrored that feeling!
"How odd..."
Yu Yuan mused to himself, concentrating his spirit and attention on the unfolding events in the Abyss of Truth.
Zhiya, in her true form as a massive purple phoenix, was now riddled with gaping wounds in her wings. The once resplendent and extraordinary purple feathers, shimmering with iridescence, were now largely missing.
Deprived of her vibrant plumage, even the most magnificent phoenix would appear desolate and tragic, and she was no exception.
Her injuries were grave.
Beyond the damage to her wings, a deep, bone-exposing gash marred her slender neck, from which blood oozed.
In this world devoid of cosmic energy, she lay motionless in the void, unable to move.
She could not rely on external forces to heal her wounds quickly. Her cold, fierce phoenix eyes remained fixated on the dazzling All Spirits Ban, watching the one who had usurped Jihui and absconded with the purple orb.
As the orb and the Chaos Titan vanished, her icy gaze was filled with utter despair and helplessness.
Only then did she grasp the vast disparity in power between herself and the Primal Soul of the Abyss.
After what seemed an eternity, she managed to weakly stir her bloodied wings, dislodging numerous large flasks.
These barrel-sized vessels, exuding a thick scent of blood and bursting with robust vitality, were evidently the nourishing elixirs she had stashed away.
One by one, the flasks entered her mouth, and without even removing the stoppers, she swallowed them whole.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Jars brimming with thick blood and the innards of the Beast God burst open inside her, transforming into clusters of vital energy that aided in her recuperation.
Lin Daoke, the master of the Sword Sect, stood by in silence, choosing not to strike. Aware that Zhiya, still gravely wounded, was at her most vulnerable, he quietly waited. Despite his anticipation for this battle, which had spanned tens of thousands of years, he refused to exploit her weakness.
"Why didn't you attack right away?" Zhiya, still in her purple phoenix form, inquired as her eyes began to sparkle with life.
"I don't mind waiting a bit longer," Lin Daoke replied impassively.
Zhiya scoffed, "Don't expect my gratitude."
With a whoosh, she ejected a violet gold steel needle from beneath her tongue, which swiftly expanded into a colossal violet gold totem pole. As the totem pole materialized, it underwent a bizarre transformation. As she gradually assumed human form, the totem pole—crafted from the violet gold skeleton of a little spinosaurus and myriad celestial treasures from the Star River—morphed into a set of mysterious armor, nearly identical in size to her human body.
Having consumed a substantial quantity of the jars she had prepared and absorbed copious amounts of vital energy, her recovery was evident. She swiftly shifted into human form, donning the violet gold armor, and methodically retrieved more jars. This time, she uncorked the bottles and drank the lifeblood within, her complexion visibly improving.
Looking up once more at the All Spirits Ban, she noticed that the one who had taken over Jihui had vanished. "My... Little Primal Beast!" Hatred was etched on her face, and although she was once again in a frenzied state, she hesitated to act impulsively. The pain of defeat had taught her a lesson; she no longer considered herself invincible.
Suddenly, that haunting sensation of being shadowed and covertly watched crept over her again. "Who are you?"
She looked up at the void above her head and called out softly.
In the chaotic currents of the Origin Realm's void, deep within the Frostlands, in the previously dark lands above, and now in the Abyss of Truth, she couldn't shake off the hidden watchers.
Lin Daoke also looked up and said, "Who else could it be, if not Him from the Abyss of Truth?"
"It's not Him."
With a cold expression, Zhiya searched the void beneath the All Spirits Ban, but she found nothing.
...
Wasteland.
"Sharp intuition."
Standing atop the vast expanse of multicolored flesh, Yu Yuan murmured, his eyes showing a hint of wonder.
Zhiya, unable to find him, could always sense his presence.
This was quite remarkable.
Green Willow, Loong Jie, Ballo, including Yuan Lianyao and the big devil, were oblivious when he first peered at them through the Soul Altar.
It was only after he initiated contact and sent a message that these other supreme beings realized he was speaking.
But Zhiya, she knew he was watching, aware of the unseen observer.
"She truly stands out. Considering her humble beginnings, her achievements today are somewhat surprising to me."
The massive green-black pupil retreated back into the shadows, the Primal Soul's demeanor ever calm.
"I would have to exert some effort to kill her, but for you, it would be effortless. Her strength and the foundation of her Way are on the tenth level of your Soul Altar. You've even recreated the Primal Blood of both realms. If you truly wished for her death, she'd have nowhere to run, nowhere to hide."
"Enough of that, focus on this little creature."
He gestured towards the motionless purple orb nestled in Yu Yuan's chest, signaling for Yu Yuan to pay closer attention.
Yu Yuan narrowed his eyes and quickly discerned that this so-called purple orb was actually the purple sea, crafted into a form akin to the blood-red skies of the Primal Blood Continent.
Within the depths of the purple orb, the Primal Blood of the Origin Realm and the Wasteland mingled, along with the sophisticated essence of life and bloodline rules that Zhiya had mastered.
Amidst the circle of light, numerous purple sparks danced. With a mere thought, Yu Yuan understood that these glimmers concealed the bloodline rules of mighty creatures. The Cosmic Giant Beasts of the Origin Realm and the Beast Gods of the Wasteland, once renowned for their formidable flesh and blood, had left their mark within these lights.
Purple crystal lightning, symbolizing various bloodline chains, wove through the light, creating a cascade reminiscent of a blood-red waterfall. Yu Yuan's gaze eventually fixed upon a colossal beast that appeared to have been miniaturized a billion-fold.
At first glance, it resembled a purple phoenix with expansive wings. Upon closer inspection, Yu Yuan discerned it was akin to a Titan Spinosaurus. Unlike the Everlands' giant dragons, the Titan Spinosaurus also possessed wings, but they were not as vast as those of the phoenix or the secular bird.
The creature's wings within the light sphere were akin to dragon wings, yet they were incredibly broad and massive, as if capable of sustaining two worlds. Its claws were robust and formidable, more akin to the fearsome talons of a dragon than those of a phoenix. And at the front of its slightly flattened head, there stood a pair of... violet gold dragon horns. The aura of sharpness and majesty they exuded was rivaled only by the eleventh-level Loong Jie.
Its bloodline was diverse yet harmonized, as if it embodied the best attributes and bloodline mysteries of the mightiest beings from both the Origin Realm and the Wasteland. Nonetheless, at the core of its heart, the most essential aura was that of Zhiya.
The creature possessed a vague soul consciousness, with its beast soul and Zhiya existing separately, revealing its unique independence. It seemed unaware of its origins, its identity a mystery. It dwelled perpetually in the purple sea, where Zhiya would feed it time and again.
Its diet included the Cosmic Giant Beast, the Otherkin's tenth-level mightiest, the Wasteland's Beast Gods, and the Otherkin's apex predators like the Moon Succubus Queen and Mu Xiao. It had never ventured beyond the purple sea, regarding Zhiya as both its companion and sole kin. Its life was simple: eat, sleep, and when summoned by Zhiya, emerge to battle.
It had existed for a long time, yet its life had been devoid of any remarkable experiences. As the purple glow that shielded it hovered within Yu Yuan's chest, it was consumed by an immense fear and wished to remain hidden indefinitely. The scent of this individual was etched in its memory.
For reasons unknown, it feared no one; however, whenever it was with Zhiya, the presence of this person would cause it to shudder involuntarily, devoid of any desire to engage in battle. It was as if it was being effortlessly and thoroughly overpowered by this individual.
"This is a new era's... Primal Beast," the Primal Soul suddenly declared.
