C2310 The Weapons Meet Each Other
In the Origin Realm, within the Illusionary Spirit Astral Domain, the Star River Domain was renowned for its dreamlike starlight. This realm was once the domain of the evilkind.
Following the death of the enchantress leader Rebecca, the Origin Realm underwent a staggering transformation.
The Gods, Sky Fiends, and the Otherkin from the Abyss allied to ravage the Star Rivers of the Origin Realm. The high-level enchantress warriors of the Illusionary Spirit Astral Domain were nearly all slain in this catastrophe.
Despite the ongoing turmoil, the stars of the Illusionary Spirit Astral Domain continued to shine with an entrancing light, yet the enchantresses within were in a constant state of panic.
Suddenly, a massive prismatic ice crystal burst forth with a dazzling divine light, outshining all the stars in the Illusionary Spirit Astral Domain. As it drifted through the Star River, it captured the attention of many surviving enchantresses.
The surviving enchantresses gazed upon the ice crystal, feeling their souls plunge into a frigid abyss as their vitality coursed through them in an unnatural way.
This enigmatic prismatic ice crystal meandered aimlessly through the Illusionary Spirit Astral Domain, leaving the remnants of the evilkind to speculate about its true nature.
One day, a Voidfarer shaped like a bat navigated the expanse of the Illusionary Spirit Astral Domain.
Mitts, a Star-Spawned Terror from the extraterrestrial realms and the chieftain of the inner demons, had ascended to the rank of a tenth-level Demon God.
The "Spiritual Bat" Voidfarer, once the property of the Illusionary Spirit Astral Domain's enchantress race, had changed hands several times after Rebecca's demise and the subsequent massacre of the enchantresses by the Abyss's formidable beings, eventually becoming Mitts' personal possession.
"My lord, could this be the object?"
A towering warrior of the inner demon clan pointed to the prismatic ice crystal, which stood out starkly against the backdrop of the Star River, and exclaimed, "Is this the item the High Priest spoke of?"
Even at such a distance, the Sky Fiends aboard the Spiritual Bat felt as if their devil souls were on the verge of being shattered by the cold.
In the cosmos, few forces could subdue the Star-Spawned Terrors. Thunder and lightning were one such force, and the most extreme cold was another.
"Indeed."
Mitts, with the grace of a celestial nymph, nodded in confirmation before urgently employing a mystique to reach out to Reid.
"Steer clear of it. Pay no mind to its drifting or where it might end up."
Mitts quickly received a response from High Priest Reid. Observing the dense ranks of Sky Fiend warriors aboard the "Spirit Bat," she remarked, "Lord Reid, Han Miaoyuan of the Gods, and the Abyss's Holy Temple guardian are all hastening to Zionidall. As for you, having only recently departed from Zionidall, there's no need to rush back into the fray."
Upon Kaiya and Youqian's arrival at Zionidall aboard the Blood Altar, they promptly dispersed all the Sky Fiends.
The scattered Sky Fiends drifted into various Astral Domains surrounding Zionidall, with the Illusionary Spirit Domain being just one of many. Mitts's mission in the Illusionary Spirit Domain was to shepherd these Sky Fiends, ensuring they did not roam indiscriminately.
...
A colossal prismatic ice crystal, harboring intense cold and Primal Blood, drifted from Zionidall to the Illusionary Spirit Domain and then meandered through the Star River of the Origin Realm. It had no fixed abode, constantly on the move, no longer deliberately avoiding anyone.
Upon learning the truth that Primal Blood was not native to the Origin Realm but rather a fragment of another entity, it grew indifferent to the creatures of the Origin Realm it had once so meticulously nurtured. It even lost interest in the entirety of the Origin Realm. Lost and bewildered, it chose to journey alongside the extreme cold, seeking to explore this world one last time. It seemed aware that the Primal Soul from the Abyss was currently unable to attend to it.
"Where, ultimately, is my final resting place?" it repeatedly queried the extreme cold. Unable to provide an answer, the extreme cold could only drift with it through the Star River of the Origin Realm, hoping time would eventually reveal the truth.
...
Zionidall.
In the Dark Nebula outside, a steady stream of formidable figures from all corners began to emerge. The Gods, Han Miaoyuan, Zu Ann, Van Heqing, Tan Junshan, Jun Chen, and Yue Mu—all of whom had attained the realm of the primordial spirit—made their appearances in succession.
Within the continent, amidst the swirling demonic clouds, God-Kings such as Taixu, Tianqi, Xuanli, and Ann Ziqing were closely monitoring the external situation, quietly making their preparations.
"It shouldn't come to that."
Beneath Youqian, the Blood Altar hovered above Dread Mount. Suddenly, the devil soul stirred and announced, "They've arrived!"
Sure enough.
No sooner had he spoken than Reid, the High Priest of the Sky Fiend race, along with three newly risen Demon Gods, came hurtling through the starry sky from another direction.
"And there's more!"
Youqian exclaimed.
A gaunt, green-clad elder emerged, his body erupting with wild and chaotic power as if he had traveled through the Maw of Oblivion. Accompanying him were a host of Evil Gods, each with a distinct form, emerging from the gaping maw.
This elder was the former guardian of the Evil Temple, unwaveringly devoted to the Lord of the Abyss.
The Evil Temple had previously consumed a number of Evil Gods and, after being refined by Him, ventured into the Otherworld, leaving their fate unknown.
The temple guardian, now endowed with a formidable corporeal vessel, served as the leader of the Abyss's Otherkin, commanding both the ancient Evil Gods and those newly spawned in the Origin Realm.
Han Miaoyuan, High Priest Reid, and the temple guardian each represented the Gods, Sky Fiends, and Evil Gods.
After their arrival, they dispersed across the Star River surrounding Zionidall, gazing upon Dread Mount, the repository of the most fearsome lightning between heaven and earth.
Reid, the three Demon Gods at his back, and the dozens of ninth-level Demon Gods were the farthest from Zionidall.
Though Zionidall was the holy land of the Sky Fiends, each of them had once ascended Dread Mount within Zionidall to seek an audience with Demon God Bertain.
Now, they dared not draw near, fully aware that the mountain's contained lightning could obliterate them in an instant.
"The Gods and Evil Gods may enter, but we must wait here on the outside," Reid told Han Miaoyuan and the wildly-auraed guardian.
The green-robed guardian stood with his hands clasped behind him before the dormant Maw of Oblivion, which neither spun nor consumed the psionic power of the Star River.
"It's fine."
He nodded, his gaze piercing through the dense demonic clouds with his green eyes, taking in everyone present. "Mr. Han, after you," he said with a detached tone.
He remained aloof, showing no desire to get close to the revered leader of the Gods in the Everlands.
"Mm, I'll go ahead and speak with them first," Han Miaoyuan replied with a smile and nod. "Contrary to what you might think, my mission here isn't to incite a bloodbath."
His eyes swept over Zu Ann, Van Heqing, Jun Chen, and Yue Mu, the esteemed leaders of the Gods, his expression serious. "Unless absolutely necessary, I have no wish to engage in a deadly struggle with them. We are all Gods, all progeny of the divine. There's no need for us to fight to the death."
With those words, Han Miaoyuan set off, gliding toward Zionidall.
"We are all Gods..."
The Most Highs pondered his message, their faces reflecting a mix of emotions.
The vast demonic clouds parted, creating a pathway for Han Miaoyuan as he soared through.
Han Miaoyuan, once a leader of the Everlands and now the chief of the Gods in the Origin Realm, was meeting once again with familiar faces after his resurrection.
He came to a halt before the imposing Dread Mount, smiling warmly. "I never thought we'd meet again."
Above the Dread Mount were the Cosmic Giant Beasts, including Taixu, Tianqi, Ann Ziqing, Xuanli, the Abyssal Leviathan, and the Titan Turtle.
There were also formidable beings like Denise of the Starborn, Elena of the Shura, and Youqian of the Dawnbringers, along with the Grand Sword Immortal seated atop the Stardust Blade.
This force, once hidden in the Frostlands, had included the little spinosaurus, Lin Daoke, Tan Xiaotian, and others.
"Ji Ningshuang!"
As Han Miaoyuan arrived, the demonic clouds vanished. Yue Mu, standing just outside Zionidall, waved vigorously, his handsome face beaming with happiness.
Ji Ningshuang paused, a soft light flickering in her icy eyes. "Indeed, Little Mu, you too have ascended to a higher echelon."
"Haha, I'll never match up to you, Senior Sister," Yue Mu said, scratching his head and giving an awkward laugh, reminiscent of the days long past when he stubbornly accompanied Ji Ningshuang on her travels. "I've finally cultivated my primordial spirit, and you've ascended to a supreme being. Alas, it seems I'll never surpass you in this lifetime."
Ji Ningshuang simply shook her head, offering no reply.
"Look over there, it's Zu Ann, Jun Chen, and Tan Junshan," Han Miaoyuan pointed out, gesturing towards the mightiest of the Gods in the extraterrestrial, his words earnest. "We all share the same origin. Once, we were brothers-in-arms. Surely there's no need for us to cross swords to the bitter end, is there?"
"That will depend on what you intend to do," Taixu responded icily.
