C2310 The Weapons Met Each Other

Origin Realm, Illusory Spirit Starfield.

This realm was renowned for its dreamlike starlight and was once the domain of the Banshee Clan.

Following the death of the Banshee Clan's leader, Rebecca, the Origin Realm experienced a cataclysmic event.

The Protoss, Devaputra, and beings from the abyss joined forces to ravage the starfields of the Origin Realm, nearly annihilating the High Rank Banshee Warriors of the Illusory Spirit Starfield in the process.

Now, the starlight of the Illusory Spirit Starfield remained enchanting, yet the Banshees lived in perpetual terror.

Whoosh!

A massive prismatic ice crystal burst forth with dazzling divine light, outshining all stars in the Illusory Spirit Starfield. As it drifted through the galaxy, it captured the gaze of many surviving Banshees.

The surviving Banshees, upon beholding the prismatic ice crystal, felt their souls plunge into an icy abyss as their blood and Qi circulated in an unnatural manner.

This enigmatic ice crystal meandered aimlessly through the Illusory Spirit Starfield, leaving the remnants of the Banshee Clan to speculate about its true nature.

One day, a bat-shaped Galaxy Ancient Starship glided through the Illusory Spirit Starfield.

Mitts, a member of the Outland Devaputra Race and the chieftain of the Internal Demon Clan, now ascended to the rank of Tenth Level Great Demon God, commanded this starship.

The Spirit Bat, as the starship was known, had once belonged to the Banshee Clan of the Illusory Spirit Starfield. After Rebecca's demise and the subsequent massacre of the Banshee Clan by the abyssal invaders, the Spirit Bat had changed hands several times before becoming the personal possession of Mitts.

"Sir, could this be the object?"

A towering warrior from the Internal Demon Clan, pointing to the prismatic ice crystal that shone brilliantly in the Illusory Spirit Starfield, exclaimed in astonishment, "Is this what the High Priest referred to?"

Even from such a distance, the Devaputra aboard the Spirit Bat felt as though their Devil Souls were on the verge of shattering.

Few forces in the universe could subdue the Outland Devaputra Race; lightning was one, and the other was the sheer extremity of cold.

"Yes."

Mitts, with the grace of a celestial nymph, nodded affirmatively before swiftly reaching out to the High Priest Reid through a secret rite.

"Stay away from it. There's no need to concern yourself with its meandering path or its final destination."

Mitts received a prompt response from High Priest Reid. Observing the dense ranks of Heavenly Demon warriors aboard the 'Spiritual Bat,' she remarked, "Lord Reid, Han Miaoyuan, and the guardians of the abyss are all hastening to the Holy Devil Continent. As for you, having only recently departed from there, it's best not to return for the commotion."

Upon Andrea and Yuv Qian's arrival at the Holy Devil Continent aboard the Aura Altar, they had already dispersed all the Heavenly Demons.

These scattered Heavenly Demons drifted throughout the surrounding Starfields, with the Illusionary Spirit Starfield being just one of them.

Mitts's mission in the Illusionary Spirit Starfield was to guide these Heavenly Demons, ensuring they did not roam freely.

...

Whoosh!

A massive, prismatic ice crystal, harboring extreme cold and Origin Blood, drifted from the Holy Devil Continent to the Illusionary Spirit Starfield, then meandered through other Starfields within the Origin Realm. It had no fixed abode, was always on the move, and no longer actively avoided anyone.

Upon learning that the Origin Blood was not native to the Origin Realm, but rather a fragment of another entity, it began to care less about the beings of the Origin Realm that it had so meticulously crafted. It even lost interest in the Origin Realm as a whole. Lost in confusion, it journeyed alongside the extreme cold, intent on exploring this world. It seemed aware that the Origin Soul from the abyss was currently unable to attend to it.

"Where, ultimately, is my destination?" it repeatedly inquired of the extreme cold.

Unable to provide an answer, the extreme cold simply accompanied it as it drifted through the Starfields of the Origin Realm, in the hope that time would eventually reveal the answer.

...

The Holy Devil Continent.

In the Gloom Star River beyond, a steady stream of formidable beings from various corners began to emerge. Divine Kings like Han Miaoyuan, Zu Ann, Van Heqing, Tan Junshan, Jun Chen, and Yue Mu, all of whom had attained the Primordial Spirit Stage, made their appearances in succession.

Within the continent, Divine Kings such as Taixu, Tianqi, Xuanli, and Ann Ziqing, also at the Primordial Spirit Stage, closely monitored the external developments, silently making their preparations.

"It shouldn't come to that."

Beneath Yuv Qian, the Aura Altar hovered above Magic Mountain. Suddenly, the Devil Soul stirred and announced, "They've arrived!"

Sure enough.

No sooner had he spoken than Reid, the High Priest of the Devaputra Race, along with three newly ascended Great Demon Gods, approached with a roar from another part of the starry sky.

"And there's more!"

Yuv Qian exclaimed.

A gaunt, green-clad elder, his body a conduit for wild and chaotic power, appeared as if borne by the Chaos Abyss. Accompanying him were variously shaped Abyss Evil Gods emerging from the abyssal maw.

This elder was the former guardian of the Evil God Temple, unwaveringly devoted to the past Abyss Lord.

The Evil God Temple had once consumed a host of Evil Gods, and after being refined by him, ventured into foreign lands, their fates unknown.

Now, the temple's guardian, granted a formidable corporeal form by the Abyss Lord, led the Abyss's diverse denizens, ruling over both the ancient and the newly birthed Evil Gods from the Origin Realm.

Han Miaoyuan, High Priest Reid, and the temple's guardian each stood for the Protoss, the Devaputra Race, and the Evil Gods, respectively.

Upon their arrival, they dispersed across the galaxies surrounding the Holy Devil Continent, gazing upon Magic Mountain, within which lay the most fearsome lightning in existence.

Reid, the three Great Demon Gods behind him, and the multitude of Ninth Level Demon Gods, kept the greatest distance from the Holy Devil Continent.

Though the Holy Devil Continent was sacred to the Devaputra Race, each had once ascended Magic Mountain to seek an audience with the Great Demon God Beilstein.

Now, they dared not approach, fully aware that the mountain's latent lightning could obliterate them in an instant.

"The Protoss and the Evil God may enter, but we must wait here," Reid informed Han Miaoyuan and the tempestuous guardian.

The guardian, clad in green, stood with his hands clasped behind him before the dormant Chaos Abyss, which neither spun nor consumed the starry expanse.

"No matter," he nodded, his gaze piercing through the dense demonic clouds to observe everyone within. With a detached tone, he addressed Han Miaoyuan, "Mr. Han, after you."

His demeanor was icy, betraying no desire to fraternize with the esteemed Protoss leader.

"Alright, I'll go over and have a talk with them first," Han Miaoyuan said with a smile and a nod. "It's not what you're thinking. My mission here isn't to incite a bloodbath."

His gaze fell on Zu Ann, Van Heqing, Jun Chen, and Yue Mu, the exalted leaders of the Protoss, his expression grave. "I really don't want to fight them unless absolutely necessary. We're all descendants of the Protoss; there's no need for us to battle to the death."

With those words, Han Miaoyuan set off, flying toward the Holy Devil Continent.

"We are all Protoss..."

The supreme beings pondered his words, their expressions varied.

Whoosh! The immense demonic clouds parted as if in reverence to Han Miaoyuan's passage.

Han Miaoyuan, once a leader of the Boundless Human Race and now a paramount figure of the Origin Realm, was meeting those familiar faces again after his resurrection. He came to a halt before the towering Magic Mountain, smiling. "I never thought we'd meet again."

Above Magic Mountain were members of the Divine Soul Sect—Taixu, Tianqi, Ann Ziqing, Xuanli—as well as cosmic creatures like the Chaos Roc, Ground Beetle, and the Starry Behemoth. There were representatives from the Star Race like Denise, from the Asura Clan like Elena, and great entities such as the Great Demon God Yuv Qian, along with Chen Liangquan of the Bright Clan and other formidable beings.

And there, seated above the Starfrost Sword, was a detached Great Sword Immortal.

This force, once hidden in the Cold Domain, had included individuals like the diminutive Spinosaurus, Lin Daoke, and Tan Xiaotian.

"Senior Sister Ji!"

As Han Miaoyuan arrived, the demonic clouds vanished. Yue Mu, wielding the Heavenly Water Sword, gestured vigorously from the outskirts of the Holy Devil Continent, his handsome face beaming with happiness.

Ji Ningshuang paused, a softness flickering in her icy eyes. "Indeed, Little Mu, you've ascended to a higher rank as well."

"Haha, I'll always be chasing your shadow," Yue Mu replied, scratching his head and chuckling sheepishly. It was as if he had been transported back to those halcyon days when he would stubbornly follow Ji Ningshuang on her travels. "I've worked so hard to cultivate my Primordial Spirit, and now you've become a supreme being. Alas, I fear I'll never surpass you in this lifetime."

Jee Ningshuang gently shook her head, offering no further comment.

"Look, over there are Zu Ann, Jun Chen, and Tan Junshan."

Han Miaoyuan gestured towards the formidable members of the Protoss, his words earnest. "We all share the same origin. We were once comrades-in-arms, brothers from the same sect. Surely there's no need for us to cross swords?"

"It all hinges on your intentions," Taixu replied icily.
