C2321 Oblivion God

Deep within Yu Yuan's consciousness, the crystalline Soul Altar stood majestically, as if it were a Holy Mountain rising from the boundless sea of souls. The aura it radiated was both mysterious and profound, reminiscent of a supreme palace crafted by the hands of ancient deities, exuding an air of solemn grandeur.

As the ghostly green figure of the Oblivion God neared the altar, it burst like bubbles in boiling water. Hundreds of ghosts, formed from the character for "Oblivion," vanished in the blink of an eye, leaving not a trace behind. The distant manifestation of the Oblivion God, struck a heavy blow here, let out a piercing scream.

The scream echoed through the minds of the powerful beings around, as well as within the brain domain of Yu Yuan's Yang God.

"Foolhardy!" Yu Yuan, poised upon the Dragon Slash Platform amidst the outer cosmos, willed the Soul Altar from the depths of his mind to materialize above his physical form. He gazed down at his Yang God below.

With a whoosh, a dazzling divine light beamed forth from the Soul Altar, converging into the Soul Cleansing Brilliance. In another part of the Yang God's mind, the green wraiths formed from the Oblivion characters were obliterated by this brilliance, erased in an instant.

The Soul Altar began to rotate slowly, then suddenly burst forth with light that showered upon a spatial rift beside the Yang God. From this illuminated fissure emerged a figure—a skeleton clad in an ancient cape.

"That's him, the Oblivion God Harris, the sovereign of the Yuwai!" The Origin of Poison spoke to the Undead Sovereign within the Dragon Slash Platform, "Impressive! You managed to locate the Oblivion God in such a short time. His powers are enigmatic; he can twist and erase memories, leading one to become lost within the depths of their own recollections."

The Origin of Poison continued to relay information to Yu Yuan, sharing the backstory of this extraterrestrial deity and advising caution in dealing with him.

This foreign Oblivion God, devoid of flesh and blood, was pure bone, concealed within the rifts of the void. His skeletal frame was a shade of gray-green, and within the fleshless skull shone a pair of eerie green eyes.

He was known as Harris, a significant figure of the Bone Race, presiding over the Yuwai and the adjacent Muddy Domain, close to the Snail God's territory. His rapport with Kuna was notably amicable.

According to the Origin of Poison, it was only with Harris's assistance that Kuna was able to successfully refine away the source itself.

She harbored intense hatred and fear towards Harris, and with only a fragment of her spiritual consciousness remaining, she dared only to hide at the Dragon Slash Platform and utter a few words.

The Bone Race, to which Harris belonged, was reputed to be incredibly powerful across the thirty-six otherworldly realms.

The Oblivion God Harris was merely one of the deities within the Bone Race. Kuna's alliance with Harris was born out of her acute awareness of the Bone Race's fearsome reputation, considering them a pillar of support.

"You actually found me!"

The deity from another realm, clad in a heavy cape, fixed his eerie green eyes on Yu Yuan's true form before giving an additional glance at Yang God Yu, who stood on the Dragon Slash Platform.

"How peculiar, truly peculiar..."

He murmured to himself, then turned to gaze at the ghostly presence within the dark green eyes, a manifestation of the Origin Soul.

This ghostly figure bore Yu Yuan's likeness and remained unaffected by his Oblivion God powers, retaining clarity and not losing a single memory.

"Some of my memories have been eroded by you, but only those of the Yang God."

At that moment, Yu Yuan noticed a discontinuity in the memories shared with his Yang God.

The Yang God appeared oblivious to the Oblivion God, unaware that Harris was currently within an unfolding spatial rift.

Soon after, Yu Yuan observed that not only his Yang God but also Yuan Lianyao, Barol, Lvliu, Taishi, and Qi Yunhong were all in a state of bewilderment.

"Forgotten, forgotten, forgotten..."

The incantations persisted.

The Oblivion God, who was evidently present before them, seemed invisible to their eyes.

Yu Yuan scrutinized them closely and discovered gaps in their memories, including those of his Yang God.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

A mysterious magnetic field undulated like ripples with each utterance of "Forgotten," engulfing the area.

Aside from his primary form and the ghost that signified the Origin Soul in his green-black eyes, even Mother Earth and the Light Origin Spirit were disrupted by the Oblivion God Harris's divine power, unable to form new memories.

They, like Yu Yuan's primary form, had indeed witnessed the Oblivion God Harris.

Yet the scenes they perceived could not solidify into tangible experiences, failing to imprint upon their souls or transform into their memories.

They had no new memories forming. Everything they witnessed was swiftly wiped clean, leaving them bewildered and disoriented.

Harris had the power to disrupt others' memories, rendering the experiences and thoughts of many formidable individuals unable to solidify into lasting memories, plunging everyone into a state of confusion.

Deep within their souls, Harris was meticulously excavating the memories that piqued his interest.

"I..."

Barol, the chieftain of the Star Race, was muttering softly, struggling to articulate a complete thought.

Yu Yuan, observing through his primary form, was horrified to discover that Harris had extracted a portion of Barol's memories related to the esoteric knowledge of the stars.

The removal of these memories meant that the profound secrets of the Dao had been forgotten by Barol.

Subsequently, Loong Jie, Lvliu, Yuan Lianyao, and Qi Yunhong—each a supreme being in their own right—also seemed to be losing memories tied to the Dao.

Yu Yuan witnessed the eerie green specters moving within the depths of their minds.

Wherever these green specters traveled, the memories hidden within the minds of these individuals vanished piece by piece.

"What a terrifying ability," lamented the Origin Soul within the green-black eyes, still busy refining shattered bones with the Myriad Spirit Restriction and preparing to construct a new demonic form.

Clearly unaffected, it recognized the formidable strength of this otherworldly deity, just as Yu Yuan had.

"All of their souls are now linked to me. Did you think to ask my permission before erasing their memories?" it challenged.

With a whoosh, after the highly intelligent entity departed, it materialized outside the Myriad Spirit Restriction as a ghostly presence.

It fixed its gaze on Harris of the Bone Race and declared, "Your ability intrigues me."

No sooner had the words left its mouth than its pervasive soul power infiltrated the minds of Yuan Lianyao, Loong Jie, Qi Yunhong, Lvliu, and Barol.

Within the depths of their souls, the green-black divine symbols transformed into ferocious demons, voraciously consuming the green specters released by Harris.

The green specters, once set loose by Harris to excavate memories and uncover the essence of the Origin Soul, were now facing annihilation.

The Oblivion God, Harris, grunted in discomfort, his cape billowing as he realized the dire situation and attempted to flee.

"Since you've come and made your move, don't even think about leaving."

Yu Yuan let out a cold snort. The Yang God, close at hand, launched forward like a bolt of lightning, intent on detaining Harris.

Roar!

Suddenly, from behind Yang God Yu, the enraged roar of the little Origin Beast erupted.

As the roar echoed, the skeletal form of the Oblivion God, Harris, was riddled with numerous dense fissures.

The body of Harris, of the Bone Race, was wounded by the mere roar of the little Origin Beast.

Although he was skilled in a variety of enigmatic divine arts, his Bone Race body did not seem particularly resilient.

The little Origin Beast, too, had snapped to alertness following Yu Yuan and the Origin Soul.

The life of the little Origin Beast had always been confined to the purple sea, leaving it with scant memories and experiences—utterly monotonous.

The Oblivion God, Harris, also discovered there were hardly any memories to extract from its mind.

Its power lay in its bloodline, and to harness the strength of the little Origin Beast's bloodline, one would need to delve into the heart of the beast, perceiving the innate power within the Bloodline Crystal Chains of its heart.

This was not Harris's area of expertise.

Realizing the little Origin Beast held no valuable memories, he voluntarily withdrew the green wraiths that signified his power. Consequently, the little Origin Beast, no longer bewildered, launched an immediate attack on him.

"Devitt!"

Harris shrieked, darting through the gap in the void, his skeletal frame within his cape radiating a spectrum of iridescent light.

The void fissure enveloped Harris, and before the watchful eyes of both him and Yu Yuan, the luminous rift flickered into existence and vanished, weaving through the various galaxies of the Desolate Realm.

"Found them!"

"I've found them as well."

Yu Yuan, the newly awakened Light Origin Spirit, and the Origin Soul active across the Starfields of the Desolate Realm, had almost simultaneously pinpointed the whereabouts of the Space God and the Death God.
