C2341 The Response of the Primal Soul
In comparison, the sun, moon, and stars seemed trivial, and even the Peak of Creation paled in significance. It was reminiscent of the dawn of existence, when the universe was still a canvas of chaos, the very source from which all life sprang, the foundation of everything.
The four great Primal Animas of this realm all basked in its glow, feeling dwarfed by its majesty.
Rip!
As it stirred its limbs, a myriad of bloody lights and shadowy lightning streaked toward the Astral Domains encircling the Wasteland.
Where it passed, silent stars were imbued with new Secrets of Life. The crimson glow and shadowy lightning scattered like sparks of life across worlds brimming with vitality.
In the hidden recesses of mountains, forests, and lakes, new and superior species emerged, heralding an evolution of life.
It was both a destroyer and a creator of worlds.
It obliterated ancient civilizations and their inhabitants, only to forge stronger and superior beings, giving rise to greater civilizations and realms.
"Primal Blood of the Abyss!"
The Four Great Primal Animas sensed its presence, spreading like an endless sea across the Astral Domains of the Wasteland. They watched as new Secrets of Life unfolded, seeds of life planted, awaiting rebirth and blossoming. Suddenly, they felt as if they had lost their essence.
First came the Primal Soul, followed by its resurgence. Was the Wasteland on the cusp of a new beginning?
The Peak of Creation crackled, and countless luminous caverns materialized, eyeing the colossal being amidst its transformation.
Beside it, the Primal Beast, Gluttony, Malformed Horror, and the Wendigo—these so-called Titans—seemed minuscule and humble.
It was the creator of the Titans, the progenitor of innumerable mighty races within the Abyss of Truth.
Yu Yuan was equally astonished.
The spirit that had fallen into the body of the Undead Sovereign did not seize this patch of vibrant flesh, nor did it undergo the sensation of the Star-Spawned Terror crafting a demonform.
It felt like... a homecoming.
In a haze, fragmented memories began to surface, as if he was assimilating the memories of the Primal Blood or awakening recollections that were inherently his.
With his real body, Yu Yuan gazed upon the immense, multicolored figure that filled the Astral Domain, overwhelmed and uncertain.
Suddenly, within the depths of those black and green eyes, billions of undead, demons, and ghosts converged in a flash. A majestic green and black wraith filled the eye, gradually becoming one with it.
"Sigh," it uttered, a sigh tinged with regret.
Yu Yuan swiftly turned, retracting his Soul Altar into his sea of consciousness with a sneer. "I knew it. You were feigning weakness on purpose, trying to entice me to enter with my real body!" His secrets of ice and lightning had been stripped from him when he had entered the All Spirits Ban!
When the three All Spirits Bans merged, they unleashed their mightiest power. His ten-story Soul Altar might well succumb once more!
"What a pity," the Primal Soul murmured, gently shaking its head within the eye. In its soul form, it gazed upon Yu Yuan's real body and the transforming, multicolored flesh, lamenting, "I still couldn't truly welcome you back."
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! The Maw of Oblivion, long dormant, began to churn once more, twisting the chaotic and wild forces of the Abyss, restraining the numerous springs.
"You've always had the power to forge another ghost. The Maw of Oblivion and the All Spirits Ban have always been under your command!" Yu Yuan's face turned icy.
His failed malicious scheme revealed that he could quickly gather another ghost, proving that the state of this Astral Domain had always been within his grasp. The billions of undead, demons, and ghosts were fragments of his dispersed consciousness, ready to coalesce in an instant.
With these entities, he had billions of eyes to monitor this region of the Astral Domain, even the entire Wasteland. He had never truly left.
"I must resort to a different tactic," he sighed, resigned.
The thirty-six Maw of Oblivion that enveloped the springs transformed into clusters of enigmatic energy and vanished into the All Spirits Ban. The Maw of Oblivion, his creation, was once again under his sway. He ceased the sealing of the springs and the vigilance against the deities of the Otherworld.
His actions served to confirm Yu Yuan's accurate judgment.
"On the ninth level of the Soulstone Pedestal within your Soul Altar, if it can overpower the Blood Altar, I can still claim my esteemed companion..." he said, his gaze fixed intently on the colossal being born from the five-colored flesh. "I could have gained everything I desired through this straightforward method."
"It's a pity that I didn't succeed," he lamented, shaking his head. "Given the circumstances, my only option was to use the All Spirits Ban to sever your Soul Altar. Alas, even this attempt was unsuccessful."
His words left no doubt—they were a confirmation of Yu Yuan's intuition. Had he managed to overpower the Blood Altar with the Soulstone Pedestal, he could have effortlessly usurped Yu Yuan's real body and claimed the Soul Altar, negating the need for further schemes. Failing that, his intent was to entice Yu Yuan into the All Spirits Ban, dismembering the fragmented layers of the Soul Altar.
It wasn't until the thirty-six Maw of Oblivion, encircling the spring, vanished into the All Spirits Ban that he spoke again: "The so-called Maw of Oblivion is an extension of the All Spirits Ban, both eternally within my grasp."
With a whoosh, as his words ceased, the colossal phantom, composed of billions of Undead, demons, and ghosts, dissipated within the dark green pupil.
In that fleeting moment of his disappearance, Yu Yuan was struck by a sudden sense of dread. He realized that the All Spirits Ban, which had shrouded the Abyss of Truth for ages—much like the patch of multicolored flesh within the Wellspring of Creation—had inexplicably vanished.
The All Spirits Ban that reigned over the Abyss was the most potent and ancient force Yu Yuan was aware of. It wouldn't just vanish without cause. If the All Spirits Ban could close up, then its disappearance was sure to bolster the strength of another All Spirits Ban—it had merged with another.
Yet, the All Spirits Ban that had engulfed all the Maw of Oblivion still remained, its might unenhanced. Moreover, the thirty-six Maw of Oblivion that it had absorbed vanished just as his phantom had.
If it wasn't the All Spirits Ban before him, there was only one other possibility—the Genesis Continent.
Yu Yuan's mind raced, and he instantly realized that the big devil, God of Oblivion, Space God, and Death God who had departed from the Creitecesh Astral Domain were likely facing peril.
"Ugh!" A sudden plea for help, filled with primal fear and cold, resonated from the tenth layer of the Blood Altar within the depths of Yu Yuan's mind.
Boom! A vision abruptly materialized before him.
The immense prism-shaped ice crystal, embodying Primal Blood and sheer coldness, now stood prominently within the Genesisverse!
At the heart of this Astral Domain, on the Genesis Continent shrouded by the All Spirits Ban, lay the dark cave that once led to the continent's interior, the original site of the Evil Temple.
Suddenly, the nascent All Spirits Ban unfurled, enveloping the entire Genesis Continent in its grasp!
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Radiant, vivid ripples of light continued to stretch from the Genesis Continent, swiftly enveloping the entire Astral Domain named Genesis.
The enormous prismatic ice crystal, once adrift at the domain's edge, became ensnared by the All Spirits Ban, severing its connection with Yu Yuan's real body.
The Primal Blood, which had been reluctant to communicate with Yu Yuan's Blood Altar, fearing absorption like its Abyssal kin, was now engulfed by the mighty All Spirits Ban, along with the biting cold.
Whoosh!
The prismatic ice crystal, caught in a dazzling display of light, was compelled to descend into the shadowy cave of the Genesis Continent.
Just moments before, it had been an entity forged from countless Undead, demons, and ghosts within the Wasteland's dark, green-black pupil. Now, it stood in the thick darkness, as if it had waited for eons.
It still bore the visage of Yu Yuan's soul.
He gazed at the crystal, still clear and wondrous in the dark, and smiled, "I must rely on the two of you."
The Primal Blood and extreme cold of this realm felt an immediate dread, as if the apocalypse loomed.
He offered no further explanation. The towering phantom in the darkness plunged towards the prismatic ice crystal.
Hiss! Hiss!
The All Spirits Ban, resplendent like a colossal, colorful cocoon, tightly ensconced the prismatic ice crystal.
Vital energy, rich with life essence, diffused from within the crystal, transforming the red crystals into mystical meridians, while the extreme cold solidified into crystal bones.
The overwhelming life power fused with the All Spirits Ban's force, morphing into refined muscle.
The extreme cold crystallized into bones, the Primal Blood of this realm formed the flesh and blood meridians, and Yu Yuan's spiritual sense assimilated both, becoming one with them.
For its soul!
The dual All Spirits Ban assisted in enveloping the intense cold and Primal Blood. Within the heart of the Genesis Continent, it harnessed its power to perform a sacred refinement.
It began with the vast Primal Soul from the Everlands, followed by the Primal Vitality from the Wraithlands, and culminating with the Primal Blood from the Dark Star.
In this realm, the Primal Soul, Primal Vitality, and Primal Blood were fused into a singular entity by its formidable power.
