C2383 The Primal Soul Reappeared!

At first glance, the star appeared unremarkable, still suspended in the Genesis Nebula.

But in the blink of an eye!

Above the star, imbued with overwhelming space magic, the many layers of folded space seemed to be swiftly smoothed out by an unseen, mysterious hand, and then slowly unfurled.

A torrent of psionic power burst forth from the star's interior, transforming into broad waterfalls that surged into the spaces above!

The unfolded spaces now stood erect above the star, resembling pieces of smooth, transparent mirrors.

Suddenly, there were hundreds of these 'mirrors' hovering in the sky above the star!

These mirrors appeared to refract the myriad spectacles and phenomena of countless worlds and realms.

The thirty-six worlds of the Otherworld, the Origin Realm, the Abyss, the Wasteland, the Star River, the sun, the moon, and the secret small worlds—all seemed to be captured within those mirror-like spaces!

"The mirrors encompass thousands of worlds, as if they could instantly transport one to different dimensions and times."

Within the smooth and luminous crystal surfaces, there were fragments of spiritual sense activity. The residual soul consciousness of the ancient Space God, as mentioned by Heesters and Zhong Chichen, seemed to be converging within these upright 'mirror' worlds.

"No, it's not Paxton!"

Zhong Chichen exclaimed in horror.

With eyes wide with terror, he took a moment to sense more deeply before crying out, "It's not Paxton, it's the Spirit of Space!"

Heesters had felt the presence of the Spirit of Time from the star, while Zhong Chichen had astonishingly sensed the Spirit of Space!

Whoosh!

The Spirit of Time that had previously departed from Heesters's body, its spiritual sense, Cosmic Order, and the divine power of time, had coalesced into a gently flowing, radiant river of light.

This resplendent river of light reemerged!

The Spirit of Time had become a river of light, forming a straight line that passed through the mirrors standing atop the star.

The dazzling river of light streamed from the center of one 'mirror' to another, weaving slowly through the many wondrous spaces.

The 'mirrors' were erected in rows as if specifically to allow this magnificent river of light to traverse their centers.

Each of the standing 'mirrors' was infused with immense Spatial God Power and bore the consciousness of the Spirit of Space.

Devitt met his end at the hands of the Primal Soul. As the current Space God, Devitt harbored the Spirit of Space within him.

The Spirit of Space's emergence in this location indicated that the Primal Soul was undoubtedly present as well. The sudden appearance of spatial mirrors and the traversal of the enigmatic river of time were clear signs that the Spirits of Time and Space had allied with the mightiest Primal Soul.

"It's Him!" Taishi exclaimed, unable to contain his shock.

"A classic case of 'when the snipe and the clam grapple, it is the fisherman who profits,'" lamented the residual soul within the amethyst wand Yu Yuan held. "I've warned the Primal Anima within me more than once to beware the Primal Soul that lurks in the shadows. Alas, it seems it was still unable to evade capture." The true Stephanie was all too aware of the Primal Soul's terror and had issued her warnings accordingly.

Whoosh!

In the midst of the star-filled expanse, where space magic abounded, the Spirit of Time transformed into a dazzling river of light, and within one of those 'mirrors,' a figure finally emerged.

This being bore an uncanny resemblance to Yu Yuan, donning a black robe imbued with an air of mystery and clutching a green eye in its left hand. It exuded an aura of coldness and detachment, in stark contrast to Yu Yuan.

Upon its arrival, all the native Primal Animas instinctively turned their gaze upon it.

"Another one?" The Disaster Spirit assumed this newcomer was just another incarnation of Yu Yuan, especially since the Spirit of Fate had mentioned Yu Yuan's real body was en route. They mistook the Primal Soul for Yu Yuan's real body.

But they quickly realized how egregiously mistaken they were!

As the figure stepped out from the 'mirror,' the Spirits of Time and Space erupted in cheers within the mirrors and the radiant river of light. It was as if he were the true leader among the myriad Primal Animas.

The cheers from the Spirit of Time and the Spirit of Fate took the local Primal Animas by surprise, prompting them to swiftly recognize their error; he was most certainly not Yu Yuan! Yet, he possessed a corporeal form, identical to Yu Yuan's, and was distinctly different from themselves.

Could he be another Primal Anima?

"You've finally arrived," he said, making his presence known. He spared no glance for the little Primal Beast swathed in the golden cape, nor did he show concern for the skirmish between the Spirit of Fate and the Light Spirit. His gaze was fixed calmly on Yu Yuan.

Yuan Lianyao, Loong Jie, Green Willow, and Ballo, who had each refined a Primal Anima within themselves, appeared momentarily stunned by his appearance. Yet, they quickly gathered their composure and aligned themselves behind him.

The supreme beings declared their submission or that they had been overtaken by his presence once again. He remained focused on Yu Yuan, while the native Primal Animas, akin to the Spirits of Disaster, Heavenly Melody, and Sorrow, were abruptly immobilized in the void. Everyone who had assimilated the deities of the Otherworld found themselves enveloped by the forces of time and space, their flesh, spiritual senses, and consciousness all suspended in a state of absolute stasis. Time and space, these two mighty Primal Animas, collaborated with him to halt the indigenous Primal Animas instantaneously.

The billowing golden cape, resembling a tumultuous golden sea, attempted to break away from his grasp. "Primal Soul!" The Spirit of Fate and the Light Spirit both shrieked in response to his unexpected arrival. Inside the cape, the two Primal Animas, locked in a fierce battle for the body of the small Primal Beast, seemed to pause their struggle, ready to unite against a common foe. Alas, they managed to cry out "Primal Soul" only once before succumbing to the same stillness as the golden cape, immobilized by the overwhelming might of space, time, and his boundless authority.

He did not turn his gaze to anyone, nor to the golden cape, but spoke with detachment, "The Spirit of Fate has lost Stephanie, and the Light Spirit's Way of Heaven has not integrated into Canli's being. Both are flawed, and thus, they pose no threat to me."

After his words echoed into silence, Yu Yuan observed that Stephanie's residual soul within the amethyst wand he held was also constrained by the combined seal of time and space, rendered inactive within its confines. Turning to look behind him, he saw Zhong Chichen, Heesters, Taishi, Youyu, Qi Yunhong, and Yu Yiyi—all motionless. The world around him, influenced by the emergence of the Primal Soul and the support of the two formidable Primal Animas, was cast into a state of complete stillness by their theurgy encompassing both space and time.

"We shall soon reconvene in the Origin Realm," he declared. "Whether you arrive first, or I do."

As all beings and objects ceased to move and consciousness was suspended, he allowed himself a slight smile and left behind these words. This remained the final memory and echo preserved by Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit Body.

On the other side, deep within the infinite void, his sudden emergence triggered a terrifying forbidden technique from the Space God and the Spirit of Time. This power reached across the expanse, connecting directly with Yu Yuan's real body and his Solar Spirit Body.

The Soul Altar towering above Yu Yuan's head shook violently, as if bursting through an unseen barrier.

Whoosh!

In an instant, the ten-story-high Soul Altar vanished into Yu Yuan's body. His expression turned grave as he realized the soul connection between his real body and his Solar Spirit Body had been severed. Canli, Loong Jie, Yuan Lianyao, Green Willow, and all the other supreme beings had also lost their connection with him.

When the Spirit of Time and the Spirit of Space joined forces, unleashing their divine power in unison, the region housing the star was utterly immobilized.

"What's happened?" Zhiya asked, her mind reeling. She hadn't grasped the full extent of the situation when she noticed Yu Yuan stowing away the enigmatic Soul Altar, his demeanor intensely solemn.

She sensed a significant event was unfolding.

Their journey to the Dragon Slaying Stage, where Yu Yuan's Solar Spirit Body awaited, had come to an abrupt halt.

"The Primal Soul of the Abyss has resurfaced; the outcome is now inevitable. It's too late to intervene," Yu Yuan eventually responded after a lengthy pause.

"What about the little Primal Beast? The one I nurtured?" Zhiya's voice pierced the air with urgency.

She was indifferent to the conflict between the Spirit of Fate and the Light Spirit, and the emergence of the Primal Soul held no concern for her. Her questions were solely about the little Primal Beast's welfare.

Following Yu Yuan's revelation, she realized her connection to the little Primal Beast had been completely severed, leaving her ignorant of its fate. Her utmost concern had always been for the little Primal Beast she had brought into being; her sole wish was for its safety.

Yu Yuan shook his head, "I don't know."

"Give me back my little Primal Beast!" Zhiya's desperation spiraled into frenzy as she lunged at Yu Yuan, ready to fight him with everything she had.

Yu Yuan let out a cold snort. The Dragon Slaying Stage beneath him glowed a deep, bloody crimson, engulfing Zhiya like an ocean of blood.

The Dragon Slaying Stage held Zhiya captive, rendering her unable to escape its confines. Despite her frantic screams and wild behavior, Yu Yuan was resolute in not granting her freedom.

Time marched on, and after a considerable while, Yu Yuan unexpectedly reestablished a connection with his Solar Spirit Body.

Peering through the eyes of the Solar Spirit, he found no trace of the peculiar star, the myriad spatial dimensions, or the resplendent river of time that once threaded through them.

The golden cape that had enshrouded the Spirit of Fate, the diminutive Primal Beast, and the Light Spirit had vanished without a trace, along with the Book of Time.

Yuan Lianyao, Loong Jie, Zhong Chichen, Taishi, Qi Yunhong, Yu Yiyi, Youyu, and even the ice imprisoning the Thunder Spirit were nowhere to be found.

Every Primal Anima, every supreme entity, and all artifacts had been wiped clean from existence.

In that moment of absolute stillness in time and space, Yu Yuan was at a loss for what had transpired. All that remained in the vast emptiness was his Solar Spirit Body—everything else had ceased to be.
