C2383 The Origin Soul Reappeared!

At first glance, the star seemed ordinary, suspended in the Creation Star River as always.

But in the blink of an eye!

Above the star, brimming with immense spatial power, the many layers of folded space were swiftly smoothed out by an unseen, mysterious force and then slowly unfurled.

A torrent of formidable energy burst forth from a cavern within the star, transforming into broad waterfalls that surged toward the spaces above!

The unfolded spaces now stood erect above the star, resembling panels of smooth, transparent glass.

In a flash, hundreds of these glass-like panels hovered above the star!

These panels appeared to refract the myriad wonders and phenomena of countless worlds and realms!

The thirty-six worlds, the Origin Realm, the Abyss, the Desolate Realm, the Starfield, the radiant star rivers, the sun, the moon, the earth, and even the most secretive of small worlds seemed to be captured within these glassy spaces!

The panels encompassed thousands of worlds, seemingly capable of instantaneously transporting one to different dimensions and timelines.

Within the polished and luminous crystal faces, fragments of sentient consciousness stirred—the residual soul consciousness of the ancient Space God that Heesters and Zhong Chichen had spoken of seemed to be converging within these vertical 'mirror' worlds.

"No, it's not Paxton!" exclaimed Zhong Chichen, alarmed.

His eyes widened with terror as he tuned in to his senses and then cried out, "It's not Paxton; it's the Spirit of Space!"

Heesters had felt the presence of the Spirit of Time emanating from the star, while Zhong Chichen astonishingly sensed the Spirit of Space!

Whoosh!

The Spirit of Time, once departed from Heesters's body, had coalesced into a luminous river that now reemerged, flowing leisurely through the mirrors perched atop the star.

This dazzling river of light formed a straight line, threading through each mirror one after the other.

It streamed from the center of one 'mirror' to the next, gently piercing through the many wondrous spaces.

The 'mirrors' stood in rows as if specifically designed to let this magnificent river of light pass through their midst.

Each of the standing 'mirrors' was infused with tremendous Spatial Divine Power and the consciousness of the Spirit of Space.

Devitt had perished by the Origin Soul's hand. As the current Space God, Devitt's body had harbored the Spirit of Space.

The Spirit of Space's emergence in this location was a clear sign that the Origin Soul was present as well! The sudden appearance of spatial mirrors and the traversal of a mystical time river were unmistakable indications of an alliance between the Spirits of Space and Time with the most formidable Origin Soul.

"It's Him!" Taishi exclaimed, unable to contain his shock.

"As the snipe and the clam grapple, the fisherman reaps the rewards," Stephanie's remnant soul lamented within the amethyst wand in Yu Yuan's grasp. "I've warned the Origin Soul within me more than once to beware of the Origin Soul lurking in the shadows. Despite my cautions, it still couldn't evade capture." The true Stephanie was acutely aware of the Origin Soul's dreadfulness and had issued her warnings accordingly.

With a whoosh, a figure emerged within a 'mirror' amidst the air above a star teeming with spatial anomalies, as the Spirit of Time transformed into a dazzling river of light. This figure bore an uncanny resemblance to Yu Yuan, donning a black robe imbued with an air of mystery and clutching a green eye in his left hand. He exuded a chill and an aloofness that set him apart from Yu Yuan.

Upon his arrival, all the native Origin Spirits instinctively turned their gaze toward him.

"Another one?" The Spirit of Chaos mistakenly assumed that this newly appeared individual was another incarnation of Yu Yuan, especially since the Spirit of Fate had previously mentioned that Yu Yuan's true form was en route. They mistook the Origin Soul for Yu Yuan's true form.

However, they quickly realized the extent of their error. As he stepped out from the 'mirror', the Spirit of Time and the Spirit of Space erupted in cheers within the mirrors and the radiant river of light. It appeared that he was the true leader of the Origin Spirits.

The enthusiastic cheers from the Spirit of Time and the Spirit of Fate took the native Origin Spirits by surprise, prompting them to swiftly recognize their misjudgment. He was most certainly not Yu Yuan! Yet, there he stood, a being of flesh and blood, a mirror image of Yu Yuan, and yet, so distinctly different from themselves. Could he be another Origin Spirit?

"You've finally arrived," he said calmly, making his presence known. He spared no glance for the little Origin Beast cloaked in the golden cape, nor did he concern himself with the skirmish between the Spirit of Fate and the Light Origin Spirit. His gaze was fixed solely on Yu Yuan.

Yuan Lianyao, Loong Jie, Lvliu, and Barol, who had each integrated an Origin Spirit within themselves, stood in stunned silence upon witnessing his arrival. Soon after, they instinctively aligned themselves behind him.

The supreme beings declared their submission or possession by his overwhelming presence.

He continued to gaze at Yu Yuan, while the native source spirits—akin to the Spirits of Disaster, the Spirits of Heavenly Melody, and the Spirits of Sorrow—that had sought to inhabit the golden cape, were abruptly immobilized in the void.

Everyone who had assimilated foreign deities found themselves shrouded in the dominion of time and space. Their physical forms and spiritual consciousness were rendered utterly motionless.

Time and space, these two formidable source spirits, collaborated with him to halt the native source spirits of this realm.

The golden cape, billowing like a tumultuous golden sea, attempted to break free from his proximity.

"Origin Soul!"

The Spirit of Fate and the Light Origin Spirit cried out in unison, startled by his unexpected arrival.

The two great Origin Beasts, locked in a fierce battle for the small Origin Beast's body, paused their conflict at his reappearance, seemingly ready to unite against a common foe.

Regrettably, their cry of "Origin Soul" was their last, as they too fell into the same stillness as the golden cape.

The cape, now under the influence of his boundless might and the forces of space and time, remained motionless.

Without casting a glance at anyone, not even the golden cape, he spoke with detached authority, "The Spirit of Fate has lost Stephanie, and the Light Origin Spirit's foundational essence has not fused with Canli's being. Both are flawed, and thus, they pose no threat to me."

Once he had finished speaking,

Yu Yuan noticed that Stephanie's lingering soul within the amethyst wand was also constrained by the immense seal of space and time, rendered inactive within the wand.

Turning to look behind him, he saw Zhong Chichen, Heesters, Taishi, Youyu, Qi Yunhong, and Yu Yiyi—all frozen in a state of absolute stillness.

The world around him, due to the manifestation of the Origin Soul and the aid of the two mighty Origin Beasts, was enveloped in a profound stasis of space and time.

"We shall soon meet again in the Origin Land."

"Whether you arrive first, or I do."

As all beings and objects came to a halt and consciousness was suspended, he allowed himself a faint smile and left behind these words.

This remained the final vision and echo preserved by Yu Yuan's Yang God form.

...

Elsewhere,

In the depths of the boundless void, the terrifying forbidden spell from him and the Spirit of Time reached out, extending through the link between Yu Yuan's true form and his Yang God.

The Soul Altar towering above Yu Yuan's head trembled violently, breaking through an unseen barrier with a thunderous rumble.

In an instant, the ten-story Soul Altar vanished into Yu Yuan himself. His face was etched with solemnity, as he realized the soul connection between his physical form and his Yang God had been severed.

Canli, Loong Jie, Yuan Lianyao, Lvliu, and the other supreme beings had also lost all contact with him.

As the Spirit of Time and the Space God joined forces, unleashing their divine power, the region housing the star was utterly immobilized.

"What's happened?" Zhiya asked, her voice tinged with confusion. She hadn't grasped the situation when she noticed Yu Yuan retracting the enigmatic Soul Altar, his demeanor growing increasingly grave.

She sensed that a significant event was unfolding.

Their journey toward the Dragon Slash Platform, where Yang God Yu resided, had come to an abrupt halt.

"The Origin Soul of the Abyss has reemerged; the outcome is now inevitable. It's too late to intervene," Yu Yuan finally responded after a lengthy silence.

"Where is the little Origin Beast? The one I nurtured, where is it?" Zhiya's voice escalated into a piercing scream.

She was indifferent to the clash between the Spirit of Fate and the Light Origin Spirit, and the emergence of the Origin Soul held no interest for her. Her sole concern was the welfare of the little Origin Beast.

Yu Yuan's revelation made her realize she had been completely cut off from the little Origin Beast, leaving her in the dark about its fate.

Her primary concern had always been the wellbeing of the little Origin Beast she had brought into being. She yearned for nothing more than its safety.

"I don't know," Yu Yuan replied, shaking his head.

"Give me back my little Origin Beast!" Zhiya's desperation spiraled into madness as she lunged at Yu Yuan, ready to fight him with everything she had.

Yu Yuan let out a cold snort. The Dragon Slash Platform beneath him glowed a deep, blood red, engulfing Zhiya like a sea of blood.

She was trapped by the Dragon Slash Platform, unable to escape. No matter how loudly she protested or how wildly she thrashed, Yu Yuan's refusal kept her imprisoned.

And so, time stretched on.

Suddenly, Yu Yuan and his Yang God form reestablished their connection. Through the eyes of the Yang God, he could not see the peculiar star, the multitude of 'mirror-like' spaces, or the brilliant river of time that threaded through those mirrors.

The golden cape that enshrouded the Spirit of Fate, the small Origin Beast, and the Light Origin Spirit had vanished. The Time Book was missing as well. Yuan Lianyao, Loong Jie, Zhong Chichen, Taishi, Qi Yunhong, Yu Yiyi, Youyu, and even the ice imprisoning the Thunder Origin Spirit were all gone.

Every Origin Spirit, supreme entity, and artifact had been wiped clean from existence.

In the period where time and space were utterly frozen, Yu Yuan was clueless about what had transpired. All that remained in the void was his Yang God form—everything else had disappeared.
