C2406 We will Meet Again the Whole Book
The spiritual sense of the Origin emanated from the first through the ninth epoch, encompassing the consciousness of all Primal Animas.
Other Primal Animas, upon returning to the Origin Grounds, surrendered their individual spiritual sense for the sake of absolute unity with their thoughts and selves!
They transcended blood and soul, governing the collective consciousness of all Primal Animas across the epochs.
Yet, in this moment, the Primal Soul, elevated by Yu Yuan during the ninth epoch, suddenly permeated downwards with its fully aware Soul Power!
It heeded Yu Yuan's commands, unwavering in its trust in its old ally, and fully committed to supporting Yu Yuan's battle!
It led the rebellion, rousing the Primal Animas that had been lost in a state of chaos and oblivion.
"Why have I suddenly awakened?"
Within the crystal imbued with light magic, the Light Spirit of the ninth epoch was the first to stir.
It gazed ahead in astonishment to discover eight other radiant beings like itself within the crystal's illuminated realm!
The Light Spirits born in the previous eight epochs were all present in this luminous world.
One after another, verdant soul lights cascaded from the heavens of this radiant world, infusing the eight Light Spirits with new life.
The eight Light Spirits of the past epochs, once mired in perpetual confusion, were now gradually coming to life.
Following suit.
Within a dark brown crystal, Mother Earth slowly roused herself, her gaze falling upon eight fragments of land adrift in this new world.
Eight verdant Soul Lights plummeted from the sky, each finding a home on the land fragments resonating with the Earth Spirit's essence.
Subsequently, the Earth Spirits of the preceding eight epochs, like Mother Earth, stirred from their slumber, breaking free from their eternal stupor.
A similar awakening unfolded within the other six crystals.
Gold, wood, water, fire, ice, and thunder—Primal Animas bereft of their spiritual sense were revived by the Soul Power infused by the Primal Soul.
"Origin!"
"The Origin has stripped us of our right to exist!"
"The Origin has usurped all that was ours!"
Within the eight crystals, the numerous Primal Animas from the nine great epochs, upon receiving the Primal Soul's message within their minds, instantly understood what had transpired.
Beneath the origin, the eight large crystals serving as the foundation stones of the Way of Heaven suddenly burst forth with their divine radiance!
They too began to resist.
Rip! Rip! Rip! Rip!
Lin Daoke, wielding dual swords, felt a sudden departure of eight familiar streams of Primal Anima power from his vibrant and mysterious body.
Even his Primordial Spirit Sword and the Solar Spirit Sword were stripped of the enhancements from the elements of gold, wood, water, fire, earth, as well as ice, lightning, and light magic.
Yu Yuan's titanic hand transformed into a colossal stone hammer capable of shattering the heavens and the earth, hurtling towards Lin Daoke's Solar Spirit Sword.
Within Yu Yuan's massive fist, an overwhelming surge of vital energy resonated with the acupoints in his body, unleashing the divine powers of the mightiest beings from the Nine Great Eras and myriad worlds, amplified by his enigmatic and unfathomable life power.
Boom! Crack!
With the hammer's impact, Lin Daoke's Solar Spirit Sword fractured and fell apart.
The indestructible Crystal Divine Sword was once fortified by the elements of metal, wood, water, fire, earth, ice, light, and thunder.
Particularly, the imprints of the Light Spirit, Mother Earth, and other Primal Animas within the Divine Sword rendered it not only supremely sharp but also extraordinarily durable.
Previously, Yu Yuan had exerted all his might yet failed to even scratch the Solar Spirit Sword.
But now, with a single punch, the sword that should have been the epitome of sturdiness, shattered instantly.
Lin Daoke's eyes, previously expressionless, now flashed with astonishment.
As he lost the power of the eight Primal Animas, he also sensed the resistance of numerous Primal Animas from different eras within the crystals.
Yu Yuan, having shattered the Solar Spirit Sword, morphed his hammer-like fist into a blade-like palm, wielding the blood magic of all beings as he cleaved towards Lin Daoke's arm that once wielded the sword.
Crack!
Lin Daoke's arm was severed by Yu Yuan's palm blade.
The secrets and profundities within the arm were obliterated by Yu Yuan's life force, and upon separation from Lin Daoke's resplendent body, it dissolved into nothingness.
Hiss hiss!
Meanwhile, the River of Swords emitted by the Primordial Spirit Sword in Lin Daoke's other hand suddenly seemed less formidable, and the sword light lost its edge.
Lin Daoke's once invincible presence, capable of embodying the profound truths of thousands of Primal Anima, had evidently faded.
He now lacked the elements of metal, wood, water, fire, earth, as well as ice, lightning, and the essence of light magic.
These eight Primal Anima should have rendered every stroke of Lin Daoke's sword impeccable, leaving Yu Yuan in excruciating agony, wishing for death.
Yet, the once mighty River of Swords, though still numbering in the tens of thousands and targeting various acupoints on Yu Yuan's chest, had seen its potency significantly diminished.
Yu Yuan's grin was chilling as he laughed.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
Within the myriad acupoints in his chest, the familiar Crimson Realm began to engulf the River of Swords.
"Your time has come to an end."
Once the River of Swords had been completely consumed by the acupoints in Yu Yuan's chest, and subsequently shattered within the Maw of Oblivion, Yu Yuan recognized that the origin was no longer impregnable or flawless.
"The end is nigh."
He sighed, filled with a multitude of emotions.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
The Maw of Oblivion that had annihilated Lin Daoke's River of Swords now emerged, one after another, from his acupoints, coalescing above his head.
Gods, demons, supreme beings, and savage alien beasts from the Nine Great Eras seemed to lurk in the shadows of this immense Maw of Oblivion.
The Wheel of Life, positioned above Yu Yuan's head, also plunged into the vast Maw of Oblivion, amplifying its formidable power.
In that instant, the Spirit of Creation, masquerading as Lin Daoke, glanced back and realized that the myriad Primal Anima within the All Spirits Ban no longer heeded his command.
Sensing something amiss, Lin Daoke abruptly looked up to witness the horrifying vortex, formed by the merging of the Maw of Oblivion and the Wheel of Life, descending from the heavens.
He was immediately engulfed, overwhelmed by the endless flood of vital energy, and confronted with the haunting visions of countless lives lost from the Nine Great Eras due to his actions.
His expressionless eyes finally betrayed a hint of bitterness and helplessness as he slowly shook his head.
The whirlpool began its gradual spin.
Lin Daoke's resplendent, massive form, with divine rays of light coursing through it, each representing the profound mysteries of the Primal Animas, was now being drawn out by the force of the whirlpool and then ground into nothingness.
As the divine rays of light left his body one by one, Lin Daoke reverted to his original form and lost his dominion over the Primal Animas.
The primordial spirit sword he had cultivated, marked with his spiritual imprint, and the sword itself, were also reduced to nothingness by the swirling vortex.
Eventually, he reached the Origin Land, shrouded in divine glow. The divine rays that had suffused his body were extracted and obliterated.
All that remained was his corporeal form.
As the Lunar Spirit of Lin Daoke's era, he had long been integrated into the primordial spirit sword. Now bereft of the primordial spirit sword and the Solar Spirit Sword, he was also devoid of the Lunar Spirit Sword.
Only a faint trace of his spirit lingered, and this human body, born of the Everlands, was once again just... flesh and blood.
He soon realized that this fleshly body, born of the Everlands, was suddenly brimming with Yu Yuan's presence, infused with the life essence Yu Yuan had acquired upon his ascension.
This life essence enveloped what little spirit remained.
With a crash, his skeleton fractured, and his organs dissolved into blood. Ultimately, he became a mysterious layer of blood membrane.
The blood membrane encased his remaining spirit, creating an impenetrable barrier.
He could no longer feel the All Spirits Ban or connect with the Origin Land; his ties to all Primal Animas were severed.
At that moment, the verdant Soul Power that had infiltrated the depths of the Origin Land was abruptly reclaimed by the Primal Soul.
The Light Spirit, Mother Earth, and the Primal Animas of lightning, vegetation, ice, and flame, which had awakened within the crystals and gained self-awareness, once again fell silent, losing their sense of self.
"It's over."
Yu Yuan narrowed his eyes, gazing at the small, blood-red orb of light nestled within the vast expanse of the Maw of Oblivion.
Within the orb of crimson light was a mere fragment of the spiritual sense of the Primal Anima, which he had thoroughly imprisoned.
Without his intervention, the Primal Anima would never be able to link with the consciousness of its counterparts within the Land of Origin.
With a whoosh, Yu Yuan, clutching the orb the size of a fist, dramatically shrank in size and then instantly breached the All Spirits Ban.
He touched down upon the highest plane of the blood crystal, gazing upon the figures that bore his likeness from the previous eight eras.
In those eras, each incarnation of himself, having traversed the All Spirits Ban and landed upon the blood crystal, had been grievously wounded by the Origin, losing their self-awareness.
Such versions of himself were mere soulless puppets, brimming with a torrential life force that would return to the blood crystal upon their arrival.
The final act of world annihilation was his return to the Land of Origin in this fleshly form, marking the pinnacle of his descent.
Billions of years later, in the ninth era, he returned once more to the zenith of the Land of Origin, this time preserving his undying consciousness.
Seated beside the Yu Yuan of the Eighth Era, his body, now a kaleidoscope of colors, channeled the sublime life essence within him down to the blood crystal below.
"Go forth."
Ultimately, he cast the blood-colored orb from his grasp down to the crystal surface.
In the boundless, blood-red sea, a new orb hovered, the spiritual sense of the Primal Anima sealed within.
In the eons to come, he would have ample time to employ this vestige of the Primal Anima's consciousness to unlock the mystique needed to initiate a new era.
He understood that the Spirit of Creation, like the Primal Soul, possessed an immortal spirit.
Once the new era dawned, and he disseminated the seeds of the Primal Anima across countless realms using the mystique controlled by the Primal Anima, the spiritual sense of the Primal Anima would gradually revive and awaken through those that matured in the new era.
The Primal Anima would regain its might, awaken anew, and they would meet once more.
But that was a tale for the tenth era.
At that time, it will be after the new "Doomsday Way" matures, that the Primal Anima will come here to challenge him and the Primal Soul.
Whoosh!
A spirited body, formed by the Primal Soul, suddenly flew out from the Soulstone Pedestal under Yu Yuan's dominion and drew near to Yu Yuan's body, which was gradually becoming more ordinary due to the return of his life force.
Yu Yuan sat, while the Primal Soul floated before him in his likeness.
"We won," the Primal Soul said, smiling at him.
He returned the smile and asked, "You have the soul imprints of those people, don't you?"
The Primal Soul nodded gently. "Not just those from the ninth era. We have companions from the previous eight eras who fought alongside us. If you wish for any of them to live, we can bring them back in the tenth era using our combined life and Soul Power."
In those previous eight eras, there were unparalleled figures like Zhong Chichen, Loong Jie, Taishi, and Yuan Lianyao who fought alongside them.
At the end of each era, when they lost their spiritual sense, they were extinguished by the Origin.
"We shall meet again," Yu Yuan said with a smile.
"Yes, we and they will meet again," the Primal Soul replied, smiling as well.
...
The Complete Book.
There's no need to elaborate on what followed; suffice it to say that Yu Yuan opened the tenth era and revived Chen Qinghuang, Yuan Lianyao, Loong Jie, Zhong Chichen, and his other dear friends and lovers. It was a tale of invincibility tinged with solitude.
Now, to offer a brief conclusion.
Despite its grandeur, the story had its flaws. The main characters were not as fleshed out as they could have been, due in part to an overemphasis on plot development, which often left Yu Yuan in a state of oppression.
In summary, the narrative of this epic tale was not as exhilarating and satisfying as it could have been. I've seen the readers' dissatisfaction in the comments and humbly acknowledge these shortcomings.
Nevertheless, I believe I've managed to present a decent story. I sincerely thank everyone who has followed this epic to this point. I bow in gratitude for your readership.
As for a new book, it will be at least three to five months in the making.
For now, I'm going to take a well-deserved break and enjoy a few months of leisure. Please don't miss me too much.
