C340 I Have Two Hands!

Yang Yinquan of the Abyssal Dawn listened intently to the earth's tremors, his figure darting through the air like a Flying Shuttle. Le Baixiong's violent vitality clung to him like a persistent shadow. As a general in the Blackfang Legion, he was second in command only to Shen Feiqing, a peak Lunar Spirit expert tantalizingly close to embarking on a distant journey.

Despite Yang Yinquan's years of arduous cultivation on the continent of Euwrea, he had only ventured into the Forgotten Ruins for the past decade. Yet, even there, Le Baixiong's fearsome reputation was well-known. Legend had it that Le Baixiong, deeply enamored with Army Commander Shen Feiqing, was unwaveringly devoted to her.

Raised amidst relentless slaughter, Le Baixiong spent his early years in the Godsblight Marsh, hunting Fellbeasts for survival, cultivating a nature that was both cruel and bloodthirsty. When Shen Feiqing brought him into the Sunblessed Empire, his ferocity only intensified, making him the bane of many noble families. He personally executed numerous dark and violent deeds for the Blackfang Legion.

Even a warrior as formidable as Yang Yinquan dared not confront Le Baixiong, who rode a Blackfang Beast with a terrifying presence. Instead, he relied on the Abyssal Dawn's mystique and elusive techniques to steer clear.

Then, unexpectedly, Yang Yinquan's gaze fell upon a blank scroll suspended in the air, fluttering in the wind. He watched, puzzled, as the scroll emanated strange spatial fluctuations, stirring a sense of wonder within him.

From the blank canvas, a slender figure in silver, her features indistinct and seemingly delicate, stepped forth like a phantom to face Yang Yinquan. Her garment was adorned with the miniature landscapes of Aetherius's renowned mountains and rivers.

"Greetings, Mr. Yang," the silver-clad woman said, bowing respectfully. Her voice was soft and melodious, a striking contrast to Shen Feiqing's gruff tones.

At her words, Yang Yinquan, who had been transfixed by the geographic patterns on her attire, was suddenly struck by recognition. Terror gripped him, and he blurted out in disbelief, "Your Majesty, the Silvermoon Queen!"

The woman clad in silver let out a low chuckle and gestured behind her to the blank canvas, saying, "Please accept my apologies, Mr. Yang. This blank scroll requires some souls to be filled."

Her delicate fingers traced circles in the air as she spoke.

One by one, the shimmering silver rings emerged, each crafted from the purest spiritual energy and vitality, like a series of full moons.

Within mere seconds, nine resplendent silver rings materialized from thin air.

Yang Yinquan's attempt to flee was futile. The presence of the blank scroll had locked the space around him, rendering his Abyssal Dawn escape technique useless.

The nine silver rings encircled him like celestial bodies, and under their luminescence, Yang Yinquan was dismembered, his flesh and bones scattering piece by piece.

As Yang Yinquan released his Lunar Spirit, the silver-clad woman pointed at him. The long-awaited blank scroll suddenly drifted forth, generating a powerful suction within.

Yang Yinquan's Lunar Spirit was abruptly drawn into the scroll, staining it like ink on paper, leaving behind a cluster of dimly struggling phantoms.

With a soft smile, the woman in silver turned to look over her shoulder.

A gaunt man with graying temples and an air of nonchalance, wearing a wry smile, bowed deeply and respectfully. "Xiangtian pays his respects to Your Majesty, the Empress."

Though the features of the silver-robed woman were indistinct, the aura she exuded was unmistakably joyful. She seemed delighted to encounter Su Xiangtian in this place.

"Xiangtian, did you witness that?" she asked with a smile.

Su Xiangtian exhaled deeply and replied, "Your Majesty, if you wish for me to have seen it, then I have. If you prefer that I didn't, then I can act as though I haven't."

"Is the Abyssal Dawn the sect you chose for Little Yan'er?" The silver-robed woman lightly tapped her finger, transforming the silver rings that had slain Yang Yinquan into silken threads that wrapped around her pale finger. She slowly rotated her finger, winding the silver threads as she spoke with measured calm, "I apologize, it wasn't my intention to do this, but I needed his soul."

Su Xiangtian met her gaze and after a brief moment of contemplation, he inquired, "And what of mine?"

The silver-robed woman remained silent.

Su Xiangtian's heart sank, and his lips curled into a bitter smile as he said, "I understand."

The woman in the silver robe remained silent.

"I'm well aware that I'm no match for His Majesty. If His Majesty wishes me dead, I wouldn't even be able to escape the grasp of the Lunar Spirit." Su Xiangtian, ever the candid man, laughed before continuing, "I just want to know why His Majesty is doing this. Is it for his own sake, for the Lee family, or for the sake of the empire?"

The silver-robed woman took the question seriously, pondering for a moment before answering, "Only when I am strong can the Lee family have something to depend on, and only then can the empire rise."

"So, you would ally yourself with demons for this cause?" Su Xiangtian mocked.

"Those who serve me are merely my servants; how does that equate to an alliance?" The silver-robed woman chuckled and said, "Xiangtian, you are the one I hold in the highest regard. Neither you nor Su Yan will I harm. Act as if you know nothing and leave the Forgotten Ruins at your earliest convenience. Do not return to the nation."

"After this affair concludes, you'll hear the latest news. Assess the situation then and make your own judgments."

With those words, the silver-robed woman gracefully departed.

Clutching the blank scroll, she seemed capable of short-range spatial travel. At one moment, she appeared by a lake, collecting the remnants of Jiang Moyan's soul, and at another, she moved to a different location to gather the lingering soul of Zou Jin, who had been slain by the High Oracle.

Slowly, the scroll began to fill with more and more phantoms.

"Your Majesty!"

A desperate plea echoed from the scroll, traveling from a great distance.

The voice belonged to Van Yan!

The silver-robed woman was taken aback. Her remnant soul permeated the air like water, covering vast distances in an instant.

Beneath the floating island, Yu Yuan looked up, his gaze fixed on Van Yan, as he bellowed furiously, "Die!"

His other hand, which had been empty from the start, now pointed towards the island suspended in the air.

His bare arm burst open, and from his other arm emerged a faint crimson sword light imbued with space magic, which suddenly solidified into a sword spell.

This sword spell, echoing his cry of rage, moved in harmony with the sound!

A blaze of crimson sword light soared into the sky like a torch, piercing through the bottom of the floating island and striking directly into Van Yan's body.

Van Yan, who was relentlessly swinging the Eight-Flanged Mace against Yu Zhu, had called out in his heart to "Your Majesty" while Yu Yuan was gathering his sword's will, hoping for the Silvermoon Queen's aid.

He was aware that the Silvermoon Queen could hear his plea.

Yet, it was too late.

The instant the crimson sword light reached him, Van Yan, still wielding his mace, exploded into a shower of flesh and blood.

Having not achieved the Lunar Spirit state, the destruction of his body signified his death.

The Van family general, long steeped in wicked deeds, had never imagined that Yu Yuan, who was intently channeling the force of the sword spirit to strike at the Shura controlling the little world within the Dark Realm, could still muster the energy to wield his other hand as a sword, delivering a lethal blow.

Van Yan died with his eyes wide open in disbelief!

Liu Ying, who had been drawn upward by the Fallen Star Eyes, was gasping for breath and dared not descend again.

As she used the immense cosmic energy to heal her battered body, she witnessed Yu Yuan bellowing, calling for Van Yan's death.

She had assumed Yu Yuan's roars were merely impotent gestures.

To her surprise, in the next instant, Yu Yuan, with his free hand, channeled a trace of sword's will and executed a sword spell.

With one stroke, he had slain Van Yan.

Liu Ying rubbed her eyes, making sure that Van Yan was truly dead, before letting out a low chuckle, "Good riddance. Such a vile creature deserves to be wiped from existence!"

Then, she heard the sound of Yu Yuan's triumphant laughter from below.

"With both hands at my command, killing you, Van Yan, was as effortless as blowing away dust!"
