C470 Purification!

Inside the cauldron, Yu Yuan was invigorated by the shifting essence of the Muddy Devil Embryo.

The combination of the Evil Body Refining Skill with the Evil Cauldron unlocked the cauldron's enigmatic powers.

His Dantian served as a conduit, channeling the myriad of bizarre forces from the depths of the Muddy Devil Embryo under the pull of the Evil Body Refining Skill.

These forces, drawn by his technique, overwhelmingly flowed into the cauldron!

Before stepping into the cauldron, Yu Yuan harbored concerns. He feared that an uncontrollable surge of power might overwhelm him, causing his flesh to burst apart.

The Muddy Devil Embryo's energy was immensely potent; activating the Evil Body Refining Skill only allowed him to absorb a fraction, yet his bones splintered, meridians tore open, and his organs seared with pain.

And this was when he was fully deploying the Evil Body Refining Skill, barely managing to contend with the Muddy Devil Embryo.

He dreaded a misstep, a failure to properly harness the vast and wild energy, which could rupture his very being.

However, upon entering the Evil Cauldron, all his prior fears dissipated.

The cauldron had devoured 99% of the extraneous energies!

"Hu! Hu! Hu!"

Witnessing streams of vibrant energy, arcs of rainbow light, icy flames, and green venom converge and vanish within the Evil Cauldron, he found his equilibrium.

It dawned on him why the Devil Palace had transported the Evil Cauldron to the Ember Waters, intentionally pairing it with the Aura Altar.

Despite the fall of the Evil Sect, this Artifact remained, capable of countering the Aura Altar in certain ways.

The Evil Cauldron could directly assimilate the diverse energies, luminescence, and toxins housed within the Muddy Devil Embryo that underpinned the Aura Altar.

He even speculated that the force he harnessed to break through his Eight Extraordinary Meridians inside the cauldron might have been drawn from the Muddy Devil Embryo.

Impurities that the Spiritual and Blood Altars failed to refine and discard were precisely what the Evil Cauldron could absorb and repurpose.

The chaotic and wild energies were beyond the grasp of ordinary cultivators.

Even esteemed factions like the Demon Palace, Blood God Cult, and Filthy Spirit Sect struggled to harness such bizarre forces, unable to integrate them into their own bodies to enhance their cultivation and physical strength.

Yet, the Evil Body Refining Skill stood apart as a unique Devil Spell, capable of utilizing these forces for growth and empowerment.

Yu Yuan keenly sensed the influx of odd and perilous energies ravaging his fragile meridians and bones. Within his dantian, he meticulously refined his Qi and blood, reconstructing his skeletal and muscular tissues.

This cycle of destruction and regeneration was the ingenious core of the Evil Body Refining Skill.

The excruciating process that flooded his body was overwhelming, bringing with it both agony and exhilaration.

He was aware that enduring this pain would fortify his physique at the Profound Break Stage beyond his wildest expectations!

He also recognized that the longer he allowed the Evil Cauldron to consume the energies of the Muddy Devil Embryo, the greater his future gains would be.

These energies would sequester themselves within the Evil Cauldron, aiding his subsequent cultivation endeavors!

Thus, before the Chaos Roc set its sights on him, Yu Yuan asked Chi Nandou to hold off for just a moment.

During this pause, the Chaos Roc would continue to be eroded by the Muddy Devil Embryo's energies, weakening it further.

His primary concern was whether Mo Yan could withstand the onslaught.

Additionally, he wondered if Lau Ying had managed to penetrate the fragile Deep Blue Curtain as she claimed, which would allow him to establish a connection with the Soul Transformation Pool and the subterranean chamber of the Fallen Moon Forbidden Area.

Should he gain access to the Soul Transformation Pool and its inner sanctum, he would have additional soul power at his disposal.

Armed with the Evil Cauldron and his sword scabbard, he could then unleash his full potential.

*Boom!*

The Aura Altar, entrenched within a deep crater, erupted skyward once again, splattering crimson bloodlight.

Perched atop the Kyara Demon Blade, Mo Yan's visage twisted in a grimace, his eyes cracked and oozing trails of black blood, as if tainted by venom.

The serrated Devil Blade appeared to moan and wail, its blade soul enduring untold torment.

Mo Heng's neck veins bulged alarmingly, fine bloodstains beginning to surface. His struggle to suppress the Blood Offering Altar with the Kyara Demon Blade was visibly growing more strenuous.

From the Niwan acupoint on his forehead, a drop of black and purple devil blood would occasionally seep out, glistening like a watchful eye as it fixed on Yu Yuan.

Gasping for air, his eyes swirling with rage, he bellowed across the sea, "How much longer?"

"Just a bit more! Hold on!" Yu Yuan, positioned within the Evil Cauldron, promptly replied to Mo Heng's roar. "I'm on the verge of finding the Chaos Roc! Just a bit more endurance, a little more time! We can't let the Blood Offering Altar merge with this cursed object! You're aware of that!"

"A quarter hour! I can only give you a quarter hour at most!" Mo Yan declared with severity.

"Understood!" Yu Yuan nodded in agreement.

With a splash, the desiccated corpse of an old woman, clad in vibrant attire, unexpectedly plummeted from the sea's surface.

Passing through the deep blue veil, the body drifted towards the glass bottle.

"Granny Liu!" The members of the Filthy Spirit Sect cried out upon recognizing the corpse, dressed similarly to Chi Yin.

Chi Yin looked on without a hint of sorrow, her voice tinged with revulsion, "Why only now? I would've thought she'd be long gone."

Granny Liu, a fellow sect member and practitioner of the same techniques as Chi Yin, seemed to evoke a deep-seated aversion in her.

With a thud, the corpse landed atop the luminescent white screen above the glass bottle, bouncing slightly on the sea's surface.

Several vials and jars suspended from the body jostled, their stoppers coming loose.

Abruptly, a green flame sparked to life above the bottle!

In a crackling frenzy, the white screen that had separated the crowd from the sea ignited into a fierce blaze. The chilling green flame, carrying a frosty chill, descended upon them.

The group paled, bewildered by the sudden turn of events.

As figures scattered to avoid the flames, all eyes turned to Chi Yin.

Dodging herself, Chi Yin shrieked, "Don't look at me! I have no clue what that old ghoul concocted in those bottles! Just steer clear of them!"

Everyone kept their distance from the sinister green flames, fearing they might draw the fire upon themselves.

Lim Zhuyun, her spirit extinguished, sat motionless, her head bowed.

Suddenly, a chilling emerald flame surged toward her, enveloping her in an instant and burning with a ferocious intensity.

"Get out of here!"

Chi Nandou's face contorted with alarm as he saw the spiritual light barrier, created by the glass bottle, begin to melt under the touch of the green flame, feeding the fire's growing fury.

With a loud cry, he retracted all the light screens emitted by the glass bottle back into its confines.

Those who had been within the glass bottle were now exposed to the seawater, hastily conjuring spiritual energy shields around themselves as they stared at Lim Zhuyun in astonishment.

Amidst the sea, Lim Zhuyun remained unharmed by the green flames that raged around her, her hair still floating gracefully within them.

Once the glass bottle was removed, Lim Zhuyun, who had been seated, slowly rose to her feet as the green flames roared on, yet her body remained unchanged—no signs of pain, no hint of being consumed by the fire.

Instead, the flames seemed to render her colder, more frigid.

With a flick of her fingers, ten streaks of green lightning zipped forth, striking the remaining members of the Blood God Cult and the Filthy Spirit Sect.

In an instant, they too were engulfed in the same surging, green flames.

The flames were just as green, just as piercingly cold. But unlike Lim Zhuyun, the ten victims were in agony, their screams piercing the air as their flesh turned to charred black.

Through the water, Lim Zhuyun's gaze met Chi Yin's. Her eyes had transformed into a deep green, mirroring the eerie flames, exuding a sinister chill.
