C797 The Three Women Gather Together

Aboard the Cloud Cruiser, Chen Qingyan, clad in a pristine white robe, exuded the spiritual energy of heaven and earth, her elegance unparalleled.

Though she was a Lunar Spirit, her spirited body was nearly indistinguishable from her physical form. Her long, black hair cascaded over her shoulders like a waterfall, and the contours beneath her robe were statuesque and graceful.

Her visage was a miraculous creation, so flawless that even the most critical eye could find no fault.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Upon her arrival, the souls of the cultivators from Euwrea trembled ever so slightly.

Her reputation resounded throughout Euwrea; there was no one who did not know of her.

On that continent, every young or slightly older cultivator revered her as the epitome of perfection. Their voices softened when they spoke of her.

"Chen Qingyan!"

"She's actually manifested a Lunar Spirit! This young lady is remarkable! Such a youthful Lunar Spirit is truly astonishing!"

"How long has she been on her path of cultivation?"

Curious eyes naturally gravitated toward her, their expressions filled with wonder.

The stunningly beautiful Chen Qingyan stood atop the Cloud Cruiser, a long sword slung across her back.

Following her were Ma Jianjiang, Jin Xiaolie, Golden Fiend, and several men whose faces were unfamiliar, yet whose presences were keenly sharp.

One could tell at a glance that they were cultivators of the Sword Sect, specifically there to accompany her to the Land of Terror to temper her Lunar Spirit.

As the hand-chosen disciple of Ji Ningshuang and the future Grand Sword Immortal of the Sword Sect, Chen Qingyan was assured meticulous protection by the Sword Sect during her time in the Land of Terror.

"Junior Sister Chen."

Inside the grand palace, Cao Jiaze of the Ebon Star greeted her with a smile and a respectful nod.

As two of the most distinguished figures in Euwrea, not only had Chen Qingyan and Cao Jiaze met before, but they also shared a cordial relationship.

Cao Jiaze looked at Chen Qingyan with a gaze that was pure and respectful.

Chu Yao, standing beside him, managed a bitter smile upon seeing Chen Qingyan.

"Hmm, Cao Jiaze."

Chen Qingyan's eyes, bright as jewels, shifted from Yu Yuan and returned the greeting politely. Then, noticing Chu Yao, her exquisitely beautiful face suddenly turned frosty. She huffed and asked, "Cao Jiaze, why are you associating with the people from the Order of Healing?"

Cao Jiaze was slightly embarrassed as he explained with a sense of resignation, "It was just a coincidence that we met."

He was well aware that Chen Qingyan's mentor bore a deep grudge against everyone associated with the Order of Healing and had even engaged in several fierce clashes with the current leader of the Order.

Ji Ningshuang had challenged Zhong Chichen to a duel multiple times, but he had always managed to evade her.

Every cultivator in the vast Everlands knew of Ji Ningshuang's animosity toward Zhong Chichen and the present heir of the Order of Healing. Should they encounter her outside, they could expect a stern lesson from her.

Chen Qingyan, being her disciple, and Chu Yao, being Zhong Chichen's disciple, made for an awkward encounter. It would have been surprising if Chen Qingyan had shown any warmth towards Chu Yao.

"You're aware that, despite my keen interest in alchemy, I've never seen eye to eye with the Order of Healing's high-ranking members," Chen Qingyan said, her expression frosty. "This is especially true for those surnamed Zhong and Chu. Regardless of whether they are Divine Level herbalists or not, I despise them."

Chu Yao touched his nose, feigning ignorance.

"Brother Yu, Brother Yu!"

She then raised her hand high and called out to Yu Yuan.

"Young lady, perhaps you should exercise a bit of discretion," a cultivator from the Sword Sect gently advised from behind her.

"It's just a greeting," Chen Qingyan retorted, pouting slightly but still waving. When she caught sight of Yu Yuan's beaming smile, her mood instantly brightened. "Brother Yu, when did you manage to condense a Lunar Spirit?"

At her words, the faces of many who had heard of Yu Yuan's reputation took on peculiar expressions.

"Lunar Spirit..."

Ann Ziqing, clad in her purple divine armor, considered the implications of Chen Qingyan's statement for the first time with serious contemplation.

Yu Yuan had indeed become a Lunar Spirit!

No one was more familiar with Yu Yuan's past than she was. Having served the young master who had once been incomplete in spirit for many years, she was well aware that Yu Yuan had previously lacked any understanding of the path of cultivation and had not yet awakened.

How long had it been since Yu Yuan had truly awakened? In just six or seven years, he had progressed from the Spirit Channel Realm through Soul Awakening, Golden Sanctum, Veil Breaking, Subtlety, and now he had reached the Lunar Spirit Realm!

Chen Qingyan, Liu Ying, and other prodigies revered across the vast Everlands were embraced by the Sword Sect and the Starmoon Sect as treasured gems, nurtured with the utmost care. Yet, now they have only attained the Lunar Spirit Realm!

From birth, these individuals were groomed by the Sword Sect and the Starmoon Sect, lavished with all manner of rare treasures.

And still, they have only reached the Lunar Spirit stage!

Yu Yuan, hailing from the Yu family of Asvetaesi, had his awakening just a few years back. Under her vigilant gaze, he began to amass spiritual energy for cultivation. Through several trials, he achieved the status of a Lunar Spirit.

Ann Ziqing gazed at Yu Yuan within the Crucible of Evil, her face etched with complexity.

It was at this very moment she came to a startling realization: the young master, whom she had underestimated and intentionally troubled to test his mettle, was truly extraordinary!

"Lunar Spirit Stage..."

Inside the Crucible of Evil, Yuan Lianyao, standing shoulder to shoulder with Yu Yuan, was also prompted into contemplation by Chen Qingyan's remark.

Her feelings mirrored those of Ann Ziqing.

She watched Yu Yuan's profile, her eyes brimming with enchantment.

Meanwhile, the Black Staff swept up the black clouds, converging with Taruer.

White Bone trailed behind at a leisurely pace, biding time until the Black Staff and Taruer's encounter.

At this juncture, the three mighty Ghost Kings had merely piqued the interest of numerous ghosts.

Conversely, Yu Yuan, emerging from beneath the earth and having received the Celestial Ice Crystal from White Bone, suddenly became the center of attention.

"Why have you come?"

From a hundred meters away, Yu Yuan gazed at his cherished former disciple, offering a slight smile. "Choosing to refine your Lunar Spirit in the Land of Terror at this time is hardly an ideal decision."

Chen Qingyan harbored deep-seated animosity towards Chu Yao, and Yu Yuan took keen notice. He quickly deduced that because of him, Ji Ningshuang and his senior brother, Zhong Chichen, indeed harbored resentment.

In the Godsblight Marsh, Ji Ningshuang had been unaware of his identity, thus treating him with her characteristic disdain.

But after their encounters with Xie Bin and Zu Ann in Afnetalos, he understood that Ji Ningshuang had repeatedly sought out his senior brother Zhong Chichen's troubles on his account.

Zu Ann mentioned that Zhong Chichen had sustained a severe injury a century ago, likely inflicted by Ji Ningshuang. Consequently, in the Godsblight Marsh, no matter how he was treated by that woman, he could never muster any anger toward her, aware that he'd never be able to turn the tables on her in the future. His demeanor even changed when dealing with her disciple.

"You have no right to comment on the Sword Sect's decisions!" The man who had just cautioned Chen Qingyan from behind her snorted disdainfully, "Don't assume that possessing a sword sheath with ties to the Sword Sect makes you one of us!"

Before arriving, he had learned from Ma Jianjiang that Yu Yuan was in the Land of Terror. As Chen Qingyan's protector, it was his duty to keep her out of any trouble. To him, Yu Yuan was a troublemaker who could potentially tarnish Chen Qingyan's pure sword heart or lead others to misjudge her. Indeed, many who had departed from Afnetalos publicly declared that Yu Yuan had colluded with the extraterrestrial evil demons.

"I'm here to witness the clash of Ghost Kings; I'd rather not get involved in anything else at the moment," Yu Yuan said serenely. "But if anyone is looking for trouble, I'm ready to oblige."

With that, his gaze shifted to the dark cloud above because White Bone had ignited a dense white flame and plunged into the heart of the cloud. Beneath the ground, Taruer had shattered a Shadow Mountain, and the fragments seemed to morph into numerous Taruer, all hurtling toward the cloud. The confrontation between White Bone and the two peer Ghost Kings had officially commenced.

"I need to speak with Yu Yuan."

Chen Qingyan shot an impatient look at the man behind her, disregarding his counsel. Her Lunar Spirit left the Cloud Cruiser and made its way toward the Crucible of Evil.

"Brother Yu, may I join you inside?" she asked, beaming.

"Of course," Yu Yuan replied with a smile.

"Young Master, I'd like to enter as well."
