C846 We Are Very Strong Very Strong

Feng Zhong, sporting a goatee and draped in a gray robe, approached Yu Yuan with a sleazy grin, rubbing his hands together in greeting.

Yu Yuan was taken aback. "What are you doing here?"

Feng Zhong, known as the Windspeaker for his trade in information, was also the shadowy figure pulling the strings on Celestial Isle. A cultivator at the pinnacle of the Solar Spirit Stage, he was a prominent figure within the Skyreach Consortium.

He was, in fact, the most influential individual Yu Yuan had encountered from the Skyreach Consortium to date.

The area had been meticulously chosen by Luo Yue, ensuring they were alone. Yu Yuan could never have anticipated that he and Luo Yue would run into Feng Zhong as soon as they stepped out.

As Feng Zhong called out his name, his face was plastered with a smile, devoid of any trace of surprise or astonishment, as if he had calculated Yu Yuan's appearance to the letter.

"The essence of being a Windspeaker is having access to timely information," Feng Zhong said, baring his yellow teeth with a glance at Luo Yue. With an ingratiating smile, he added, "You've kept me in the dark for quite some time."

"What have I kept from you?" Luo Yue asked, her expression icy.

"I was under the impression you were dead," Feng Zhong lamented, his face a picture of sorrow.

"What concern is my life or death to you?" Luo Yue replied, visibly annoyed. "You are you, and I am me; we've never had much to do with one another."

"You're aware of my feelings," Feng Zhong said, his mouth twisting with bitterness.

Yu Yuan, astonished, pointed first at Feng Zhong and then at Luo Yue. "You two know each other?"

"It's more than just acquaintance," Feng Zhong sighed heavily. "I've spent years advising her against practicing voodoo magic and accumulating toxins in her body, but she never listened. Many of the poisonous plants and insects she acquired were through my assistance. Alas, all my years of counsel have been in vain..."

Feng Zhong, with his shifty eyes, suddenly became self-pitying, his complaints laced with an unmistakable affection.

Yu Yuan quickly grasped the situation.

Luo Yue, whom he had once considered a disciple in his past life, had been the object of Feng Zhong's affection for many years. Yet, it appeared that his disciple had little interest in Feng Zhong.

Feng Zhong was likely acting on his own initiative.

"Senior Sister, is he here because you summoned him?" Yu Yuan asked, a hint of realization dawning on him. "Did you know I was planning to leave, so you asked Feng Zhong to come?"

"Of course. Why else would I be here?" Feng Zhong lost his usual humility when dealing with him. "Your reputation as the bringer of plagues is well-earned. Your trip to the Land of Terror resulted in the death of two Ghost Kings and the demise of countless ghosts."

"I called you here not to berate my junior brother," Luo Yue said, her brow furrowed.

Feng Zhong quickly plastered on a smile. "I'm actually complimenting his remarkable talents! You're unaware, but I recognized his potential on the Sea Wanderer. At that time, I had no idea he was your junior brother or that he had received the legacy of the God of Medicine, Hong Qi. I just had this instinct that he was destined for greatness."

"Recognizing talent is my special gift."

"Moreover, I looked out for him in the Sundering Isles. When he was in the Forgotten Ruins, I made sure Gao Qin provided him and the Yu family with plenty of assistance. If you doubt me, why not ask him?"

"Yu Yuan, if you have any sense of gratitude, you'll admit it. I've been good to you, haven't I?" Feng Zhong said, winking at Yu Yuan.

"That is indeed the case," Yu Yuan confirmed with a nod.

Feng Zhong's face lit up with a triumphant grin, sending Yu Yuan a look of approval before quickly turning to seek Luo Yue's recognition. "See, I wasn't lying, was I? The connection between Yu Yuan and us is a matter of fate! I had no idea you had become the Ghost King Rahu, nor that he was tied to you through your sect. But I took a liking to Yu Yuan right from the start!"

"Enough with the flattery. You know exactly why I've asked you here," Luo Yue stated sternly.

At her words, Feng Zhong's smile vanished.

He grew solemn, pausing to reflect before speaking. "I advise you both to steer clear of Eshvehona."

Yu Yuan and Luo Yue remained silent, their gaze fixed on him.

"A cultivator from the Skyblight Cult, Lee Tihai, who is in the middle period of his cultivation, is currently practicing arcane arts in Eshvehona," Feng Zhong continued. "I've reviewed the Skyreach Consortium's records on magic items and discovered several transactions where Lee Tihai acquired various herbs, likely for the Soul-Igniting Kin-Seeking ritual."

Lee Tihai's unwavering loyalty to Yun Hao, the Sect Master of the Skyblight Cult, suggests he must have Yun Hao's tacit consent for his actions.

Yun Hao may be absent from Eshvehona, with rumors claiming he's still battling in distant realms, but we've learned that he actually returned to the Skyblight Cult half a month ago and is currently there.

As the leader of the sect and a late Unbound realm cultivator, Yun Hao has achieved the unity of his three souls within the Skyblight Cult.

Given Yun Hao's level of cultivation, only the personal intervention of a primordial spirit realm cultivator could challenge him in his stronghold, leaving Zu Ann with no chance of victory.

Besides Yun Hao, the Skyblight Cult boasts numerous formidable members. Should you show your face in Eshvehona and be discovered, escape would be impossible.

Feng Zhong elaborated on the strategic setup of Eshvehona and the Skyblight Cult's present combat capabilities.

Luo Yue, having heard Feng Zhong out, remained quiet, her gaze fixed on Yu Yuan.

She had secretly called Feng Zhong here in hopes that his information would make Yu Yuan reconsider his perilous course of action and not seek death in Eshvehona.

"I, Yu Yuan, find it somewhat flattering that the Skyblight Cult would go to such lengths to target someone as insignificant as myself," Yu Yuan said with a self-deprecating chuckle, touching his nose.

"It's unexpected that the Skyblight Cult would manipulate the situation involving your mother," Feng Zhong said with a furrowed brow.

Just then, the space around them began to undulate dramatically, and a resplendent gateway materialized from thin air. Yan Qiling emerged gracefully from the passage.

Yan Qiling, adept in the art of space magic, stood just two meters from Yu Yuan and smiled. "I had thought you'd reach out to me from the Land of Terror for assistance in slaying Dhoreus."

He had made extensive preparations in the peculiar space of the Moonfall Sanctuary.

To his surprise, Yu Yuan hadn't reached out to the Soulforge Pool again or made any contact with him.

Yan Qiling was now fully aware of all that had transpired in the Land of Terror. When Yu Yuan left that place and sent his message through the Soulforge Pool, Yan Qiling had felt it and promptly made his way to him.

Crossing two continents was now a trivial matter for him.

"Skyblight Cult, a cultivator named Lee Tihai, has imprisoned my mother's soul and is using the Soul-Igniting Kin-Seeking technique to force me out," Yu Yuan confided to Yan Qiling, feeling a natural closeness and not holding anything back. "You're skilled in space magic, and I need your help to see if we can rescue her."

"Alright," Yan Qiling replied with a smile, readily agreeing.

He didn't ask any further questions or seek to understand what other challenges might arise after dealing with Lee Tihai. He simply agreed without any reservations.

Feng Zhong and Luo Yue were both taken aback when Yan Qiling made his appearance. Anyone who mastered space magic commanded respect, and the person before them was no exception. According to the Skyreach Consortium's intelligence, his grasp of space magic was nearly unparalleled, rivaling those who could traverse the world. He was even credited with constructing all the teleportation circles for the Consortium.

"The leader of the Skyblight Cult, Yun Hao, is there as well," Yu Yuan added.

"Those who flee to the extraterrestrial realms to heal their wounds pose no threat," Yan Qiling said, his smile unwavering. "Causing a stir in the Skyblight Cult's domain might be a bit troublesome, but it's nothing to lose sleep over. Yun Hao and Lee Tihai seem to be unaware of whom they've crossed."

His statement was brimming with confidence.

Luo Yue and Feng Zhong were dumbstruck, and even Yu Yuan was left bewildered.

Judging by Yan Qiling's tone, infiltrating the Skyblight Cult's territory to perform a rescue under Yun Hao's nose was merely a minor inconvenience, hardly a significant challenge.

What was the meaning of this?

Yan Qiling chuckled softly, "We are very strong, indeed very strong."
