C861 The Great Achievement Was Achieved

The Cauldron Spirit, Yu Yiyi, returned to the little world within the cauldron. The once massive, dark cauldron shrank to the size of a palm and was gently cradled by Yu Yuan. Remnant souls, like countless invisible bolts of lightning, shot from his palm into the cauldron.

"Chi!"

The cauldron's surface roiled with glyphs, pulsating as if they were imbued with a life and intelligence of their own.

Boom!

Yu Yuan's form trembled violently, and he was overwhelmed by an extraordinary sensation. In a mere moment, it was as though he had a thousand avatars, dispersed throughout the mountains.

Beneath the icy surface of a lake, five members of the Silverscale Tribe stood upside down in a peculiar formation, drawing in the mist-laden spiritual energy from the lakebed to refine it within the luminous scales covering their hearts.

Meanwhile, the Starfallen Oracle Beru of the Starborn and Luo Yue were engaged in earnest discussion within the Skyblight Cult's Herbal Medicine Pavilion.

"I'll manage to collect the herbs we're missing from the extraterrestrial regions. They can be found in many places across the vast Everlands," Beru assured.

"That's a relief. I can procure the antidote for the toxins spawned by the Poison Cult from the merchants," Luo Yue responded.

"We'll look forward to the grand exchange."

Yu Yuan could hear every word they exchanged with crystal clarity.

Deep within a mountain peak, a Sky Fiend had carved out a niche, where it used radiant, peculiar crystals to temper an exotic demonform.

An enchantress, driven by curiosity, delved into the minds of Spirit Birds and beasts, seeking to understand the differences between the sentient creatures of the Everlands.

Below the mountain ranges, the thirty-six meridians connecting to Fiendpeak unfolded in his consciousness. Each Bane refined by the Crucible of Evil and dispersed along those meridians became his eyes, his extensions.

It seemed he could, in the blink of an eye, possess a Bane with his Lunar Spirit.

Through the Bane, he could perceive every rustle and whisper throughout the mountains, every trace of life, every spoken word. Whatever he wished to see or hear was laid bare before him.

This sensation was unlike anything he had experienced in the Moonfall Sanctuary.

At his mere thought, dozens of Bane hidden beneath a mountain crowded with Stoneborn burst forth from the earth.

Guided by his manipulation of the remnant soul, it morphed into the "Soul Prison" array, creating a mysterious and shadowy vortex.

Elsewhere, the Bane in the distance stirred at the behest of his thoughts.

A fresh cohort of Bane coalesced, taking on the "Soul Shatter" formation.

The Stoneborn and Silverscale Tribe members in both areas were taken aback, watching the sudden emergence of the arrays with bewilderment.

Despite assurances from the Boulderdawn, their first venture into the vast Everlands left them cautious and uneasy.

From childhood, ancestral teachings had warned them that the humans of the Central World—the Everlands—were the bane of all Sky Fiends and Otherkin lurking in the Star River's depths! They were their most formidable foes, demanding utmost caution and vigilance!

Now, here they were, stepping into the Central World, the most fearsome and terrifying domain of the human race.

How could they not fear?

"There's no need to pay it any mind."

Zhou You's voice timely interjected, providing a modicum of comfort to the extraterrestrial visitors.

They began to regain their composure.

"Feels different, doesn't it?" Chen Liangquan asked with a chuckle.

Yu Yuan, clutching the Crucible of Evil, opened his eyes wide with astonishment. "You're absolutely right; it's a totally different sensation. I feel like I can command any Bane to host my Lunar Spirit. All the Bane can morph and merge into any formation I'm familiar with at my will."

"That's the brilliance of the Myriad Demons Circle. With the cauldron in hand at Fiendpeak, you can summon the Bane embedded in the earth's veins to concentrate their power against any intruder." Chen Liangquan stroked his chin, "However, the formation's full might is not present, as Yun Hao has taken many goasts."

"So, do I need to gather more Bane?" Yu Yuan inquired, troubled.

"There are only two places in the Everlands that can provide you with ample soul spirits to transform into Bane," Chen Liangquan said with a grin. "And you're well-acquainted with both."

"I've just emerged from the Land of Terror," Yu Yuan stated.

"In fact, all you need to do is visit the Moonfall Sanctuary once, drop the Crucible of Evil there, and let the artifact soul seek out what it needs," Chen Liangquan offered earnestly. "Believe me, the Land of Terror is now even more conducive for the cauldron to find suitable Bane. And most importantly, it's completely safe."

Upon hearing this, Yu Yuan's eyes sparkled with interest.

"Remember, if the Dawnbringers come, do me a favor."

The busy new emperor of the Songbird Empire didn't linger long before he made his stylish exit.

Half a day later.

Luo Yue had a detailed discussion with Beru of the Starborn, explaining that she had identified seven types of poison affecting the Starfallen Oracle.

Having shadowed Yu Yuan for some time, her expertise in poisons was well-established. She had a plan in mind but was unable to procure all the necessary spiritual herbs.

"There are four magic items I need: the venom of the Ice Sea Lizard, leaves from the Darkness Spirit Tree, Twin Grass, and the Black Spring of the Dead Sea. I must seek external assistance for these," Luo Yue said, somewhat troubled. "I've spoken to Beru, and he's promised to find a way. With the upcoming grand exchange here, more Otherkin will arrive, likely bringing these items."

"For the rest, I'll speak with Feng Zhong. We should be able to purchase them from the Skyreach Consortium."

After a brief pause, Luo Yue added, "Junior brother, as a Ghost King with a spirited body, I'm incapable of concocting pills. You've received the legacy of alchemy, but have you ever actually tried to refine any?"

Doubt was written all over her face; she wondered if Yu Yuan had truly delved into the teachings of the God of Medicine, Hong Qi.

Every herbalist must endure countless trials and errors to grasp the essence of their craft.

Yet, Yu Yuan...

She had never heard of her junior brother crafting any remarkable pills, neither in the Land of Terror nor beyond.

"Once we've collected the materials, I'll handle the pill refinement. You can assist and correct me if necessary," Yu Yuan said nonchalantly.

"Why don't you try it out in the meantime? I can guide you on behalf of our master," Luo Yue offered.

"There's no need, really," Yu Yuan declined, shaking his head.

The following day, the Ghost King of the Land of Terror, cloaked in a robe fashioned from the Soul Locking Diagram to conceal his presence, arrived surreptitiously.

"I wish to attend the grand exchange," he stated forthrightly, in his emperor's guise.

"Razses, are you planning to join in?" Luo Yue asked, clearly taken aback.

Adorned with an imperial crown and cloaked in the Soul Locking Diagram, he concealed his powerful presence and the astonishing magnetic field of his soul with great skill. "I'll be there to trade. Additionally, I'll be purchasing some items on behalf of others. Naturally, all transactions will adhere to your rules and be based on fair exchange."

A sudden flash of blood-red light gleamed from the depths of his eyes.

Within those pinpoints of light, the images of Ann Ziqing and a strikingly handsome man were vividly apparent.

"Colddeath!"

With just a glance, Luo Yue recognized the man in the crimson robe as the sect master, Ann Wen.

Ann Wen's connection to Razses was extraordinary. As a representative of Colddeath, it was inconvenient for him to attend in person, so he sent the Ghost King in his stead. It seemed that Ann Wen might harbor some hidden intentions.

"If it concerns Colddeath..." Yu Yuan drew out his words, then nodded in agreement, "Alright."

"Until then," Razses said with a sly chuckle before taking his leave.

A few days passed.

A pronounced spatial disturbance emanated from the valley. Yu Yuan, standing atop Fiendpeak with Luo Yue, watched intently as the teleportation circle crafted by Yan Qiling and his companions shimmered under the sunlight. It was as if bolts of lightning, governed by space rules, darted across the formation.

"We've done it!" Yan Qiling declared with a broad smile, addressing the Silverscale Tribe members who were itching to try it out. "I know you're all keen to explore Godsblight Marsh. There's a corresponding teleportation circle deep within the marsh, and we have all the coordinates. Do you dare to venture into those waters?"

A towering Silverscale Tribe man, speaking in a halting and awkward tongue, inquired, "Will you be collecting soulstones?"

He seemed self-conscious, aware that nothing in life comes for free. Fumbling with a snake skin pouch attached to his scale armor, he appeared to be tallying his possessions.

"For the first group, there's no need for soulstones," Yan Qiling announced with a grand gesture. "We have an arrangement with the Untamed. As long as you refrain from reckless actions, you won't be targeted by any archdemons."

"Then let's go!"

Following his lead, seven Otherkin warriors clad in gleaming silver scales stepped onto the rune circle.

"Remember, you'll need to pay with soulstones to return!" Yan Qiling's fingertip emitted a beam of icy light, which he directed into a corner of the teleportation circle to adjust its coordinates.

A dazzling white light enveloped the square crystal platform, causing a sudden, intense spatial disturbance.

"The rune circle is now active, establishing connections to the Godsblight Marsh and the Silvermoon Empire," Yan Qiling announced, hovering in front of the newly formed teleportation circle, surveying the extraterrestrial visitors. "These realms have treaties with us, permitting your arrival."

"Of course, you must adhere to the original rules."

"We'd like to visit the grand Songbird Empire."

"We wish to travel to the Godsblight Marsh."

"We don't need the rune circle; we'll venture into the Land of Terror to see what it's like," a Sky Fiend proposed.

In that moment, Zhou Xiao and Yan Qiling both turned their gaze to Yu Yuan.

Their plan had been for Tian Zang to ascend to the status of God of Ghosts, making the Land of Terror as accessible to the Sky Fiend as the Godsblight Marsh was, similar to how human Lunar Spirit experts would go there to hone their skills.

However, the current master of the Land of Terror was White Bone, who had risen to prominence with Yu Yuan's assistance.

More crucially, White Bone was an ancestor of Yu Yuan, sharing a profound connection with him.

"What's your opinion?" Yu Yuan whispered to Luo Yue.

"I believe it should be alright," Luo Yue responded, having gained considerable insight into the inner workings of the Land of Terror from her discussions with Beru. She trusted that as long as the Sky Fiend adhered to Boulderdawn's regulations, their presence in the Land of Terror wouldn't lead to any irreparable consequences. "Just ensure that the more powerful Sky Fiends refrain from entering."

"Only those up to the rank of Demon King may enter, and they must forsake their physical forms," Yu Yuan added.

The bodies cultivated by the Star-Spawned Terror were typically non-corporeal, allowing them to resist the Cosmic Order's suppression within the Land of Terror. Demon Kings, on par with the human Solar Spirits, would see a significant reduction in combat power without their physical forms.

In essence, they would be limited to the strength of a Spectre, ensuring they wouldn't disrupt the Land of Terror's equilibrium.

"Then that's settled."
