The lesser Demon Generals and Demon Guards, regardless of the Otherkin warriors engaged in battle around them, or the humans and archdemons, were now prostrate on the ground.

Sidla, Adler, and Mitts, the three Demon Gods, each took a knee in a humanoid form.

The nine-headed Demon God, Sidla, after descending, bowed all nine serpent heads.

"Shi Yuxuan!" Although he had not yet acknowledged his identity, when Tian Zang called out the name Grec, the three Demon Gods and the multitude of Sky Fiends seemed to have already recognized the 'Shi Yuxuan' before them as the Great Demon God Grec!

Sidla and Mitts also made their voices heard in turn.

Their message was straightforward: they had journeyed to the Everlands on the command of the Sky Fiend clan's patriarch, and all their actions were in service to their clan.

The Great Demon God Grec, inhabiting the body of Shi Yuxuan, halted when he was a mere ten steps from Yu Yuan, as Tian Zang disclosed his true name.

He looked up slightly, observing the three Demon Gods descend and the Sky Fiends bowing before him. Despite the unfolding scene, the smile on his lips remained as he said with a wistful tone, "Youqian, you truly disappoint me."

Tian Zang's deep blue eyes conveyed a tumult of complex emotions. After a brief silence, he admitted, "Having been confined here for so many years, my mindset has indeed shifted."

"You could have remained imprisoned forever or met your end here without sullying our race's honor," Grec said, shaking his head gently, his voice laden with disappointment, "You should not have violated the oath we took in our early years. We vowed to dominate the endless races and boldly march into this realm."

Tian Zang began, struggling to find words to justify himself.

He and Grec were once considered prodigies of their generation within the Sky Fiend clan. Grec, a Blood Fiend, and Youqian, an Azurefiend, were destined to become Demon Gods from their very birth.

Both held in high esteem by their kin, they were confident that ascending to the rank of Demon God was merely a question of time.

Grec and Youqian's prowess and status were always neck and neck, shining as the sun and moon of their time within the Sky Fiend clan.

They had been the closest of friends!

Grec, composed and vigilant, and Youqian, bold and wild, were instrumental in the Sky Fiend's many successful campaigns against the human strongholds and archdemons. Together, they often achieved their desired ends.

On their final mission, Youqian ignored Grec's advice and recklessly entered the Everlands amidst uncertain circumstances. That was the last time Grec and Youqian saw each other.

Youqian was captured in the Everlands and detained in the Moonfall Sanctuary, becoming the third Evil Demon of the forbidden area, the Ghost King of the Land of Terror, known as Tian Zang.

Grec lived up to his tribe's expectations and naturally ascended to become the Great Demon God. Countless young and newly born Sky Fiends idolized him, aspiring to emulate his power. He embodied the burgeoning strength of the new generation of Star-Spawned Terrors! His views on how to approach the Everlands clashed severely with those of the older Sky Fiends, weary from endless carnage.

Grec now wielded control over a third of the Sky Fiend Clan's population and power, his authority second only to the current clan patriarch.

"Youqian, do you intend to oppose me?" Grec, bearing Shi Yuxuan's visage, flashed a glimpse of bloodlust in his eyes when Tian Zang was rendered speechless.

Tian Zang, having received a promise from the God-King associated with the bronze coffin and verbally aligned with the Boulderdawn, was in fact a more formidable presence than the Golden Elephant God, the King of Wraiths, and Ann Wen. His combat strength was amplified here, as he was considered part of the Moonfall Sanctuary's Dao Integration Stage.

"Since it's you who has come..." Tian Zang sighed softly, lowering his head with a look of reminiscence at the two Dragon Slaying Stages in Yu Yuan's hands, and murmured, "So be it."

With those words, Tian Zang's figure, hovering in midair, vanished without a trace. Employing the Ghost King Veilwalk, a technique linked to the River Styx, he instantaneously returned to the Land of Terror, right under the eyes of the onlookers, withdrawing from the conflict now involving the Great Demon God, Grec.

"I am Grec, and I have come for you." After Tian Zang's departure, the Demon God, in the guise of Shi Yuxuan, tilted his head slightly, first meeting Yu Yuan's gaze, then letting his eyes drift downward.

Yu Yuan's gaze lingered on the Profound Gate acupoint within his chest.

This place was a cultivator's "little world" of vitality, where a unique "Altar of Rebirth" had been constructed with the lifeblood of the cosmic giant beast, the Abyssal Leviathan.

"I knew it," Yu Yuan murmured to himself.

Upon learning that Grec was the chief of the Blood Fiend Clan, Yu Yuan recalled Canli's words about the Altar of Rebirth back at the Terror Claws.

Canli had warned him to beware of the Blood Fiend's chief, mentioning that he too possessed an Altar of Rebirth.

She had noted that Grec's Altar of Rebirth bore a striking resemblance to the one within him.

Canli had surmised that their Altars of Rebirth could potentially merge and refine one another.

Yu Yuan had taken Canli's caution to heart, planning to remain vigilant against the Blood Fiend members once he advanced to the Solar Spirit Realm and ventured through the extraterrestrial Star River.

Unexpectedly, before he could break free from the Everlands, the Demon God of the Blood Fiend had stealthily arrived through the Domain Channel of the Hellmouth.

As the primordial spirits and Dark Deities of the five greatest forces faced off with the Boulderdawn and other Otherkin chiefs, their attention was not constantly on the Everlands. This oversight allowed Grec, a master of stealth, to seize this delicate moment and unleash chaos in the Everlands.

"How about this: you extract that item and willingly hand it over to me, and I'll simply walk away. Does that sound fair?" Grec proposed with a smile, offering what seemed like a reasonable deal, "I'll depart with all the Sky Fiends. And you, even without that item, will remain a powerful Spirit Walk cultivator with boundless potential."

The item he referred to was well understood by the Otherkin leaders present.

However, the human cultivators appeared somewhat perplexed.

Did the Demon God Grec really brave such risks to come to the Everlands solely for Yu Yuan?

Or was it for something Yu Yuan possessed?
