Too fucking convoluted. The entire novel is just about collecting herbs now. Each person being poisoned with a different poison and every poison needing multiple rare herbs to cure. Fucking hell. What’s next? Will the herbs be poisoned and need other herbs to cure that poison, before the cured herbs can cure the poison in the people?
