We walked out of her house. I opened the door of my car for her. She took a seat. Before closing the door I said, “Put the seat belt on.” I saw her making a face when I looked down at her. I heard rustling as curtains shut. Nosy neighbors. Everyone had that problem, it seemed. I walked around the car and took a seat and started driving.
