Although the bell indicating the end of class rang, none of the gathered students had any intention of leaving.

Ye Hong had to put in a great deal of effort just to escape from the enthusiastic crowd.

In between classes, the excuse that the girls used to come find Ye Hong also changed from consulting about their studies to discussing about basketball.

Despite their desperate attempts, Zhang Xuewei acted like a fierce little tiger and swatted those flies away from Ye Hong.

She simply gave them the simple reason that Ye Hong had to focus on preparing himself for the upcoming Math competition in a month's time. Thus, they should not disturb him from his studies.

Although Ye Hong did not value the Math competition that much, he was nevertheless thankful to Zhang Xuewei for creating a peaceful atmosphere around him.

Doing so has also favored her in certain ways. After school, when Zhang Xuewei asked Ye Hong to go home with her, he would not refuse her request — taking advantage of her close relationship with him.

Just as the two of them carried their bags and walked to the corridor, a rather urgent shout sounded from behind them: "Ye Hong! Wait for me!"

"You actually don't know who she is, you uncultured swine?!"
