C39 Returning From the Rescue Mission

"What are you trying to do?!"

The two kidnappers trembled as they looked at Ye Hong, who was getting closer.

"Since you bastards like to kidnap people so much, how about I sell you guys to the South Continent?"

Ye Hong scratched his chin and smiled sinisterly.

In a moment of panic, the two kidnappers took Ye Hong's joke seriously and really thought that he had the intention to do so.

Letting out a cold smile, Ye Hong stopped beside them and forcefully stripped them of their clothes.

"B-big brother, we're not handsome, and our skin isn't that good. Please let us go!"

"Right, right, we are extremely dirty!"

Ye Hong, stunned for a few seconds from their reactions, finally came back to his senses.

What the hell? Don't tell me they think that I have some sort of weird fetish?!

"Shut your damn mouths. I'm a straight man, alright!"

Ye Hong tore his coat into a few long strips and tied the two of them together tightly.

Though their hands and feet were tied up firmly — preventing them from moving even an inch — they still kept on shouting: "Big Brother, we can talk it out!"

Before the two of them finished talking, Ye Hong had already taken off his socks and stuffed them into their mouths.

Those pair of socks smell rather... 'unique' in its own way.

Ye Hong squatted down and patted Xian'er's head gently. He then said with a kind smile: "Just call me Big Brother. Also, Big Brother is not a security guard, but instead, someone that your grandfather hired to rescue you, but..."

Ye Hong smiled bitterly, "Big Brother doesn't know how to send you to your grandpa right now."

Xian'er extended her tender little hand and pointed at the off-road motorbike on the ground.

Ye Hong's eyes immediately lit up with a glimmer of hope.

Five minutes later, Ye Hong was already riding his back on motorbike while Xian'Er was in his arms.

On the back of the motorbike, the two kidnappers were tied up with long strands of woven cloth in a rather uncomfortable manner.

As the motorbike moved, the two of them were forced to stagger in whichever direction it turned.

Feeling the strong wind blowing against him, Ye Hong sucked in a deep breath and said in delight, "Xian'er, hold on tight! We're gonna go speed up!"

"Vroom—— Vroooom——"

The engine roared in an explosion of speed as the motorbike shot forward like a shooting star!

"Wait, don't-"

Two incomparably dire screeches suddenly echoed out from behind the motorbike, resounding throughout the area before they slowly fainted.

By the time Ye Hong arrived back at Spring Market, the sun was already setting on the horizon.

At that moment, a motorbike with a teenage boy and a young girl riding on it parked near the entrance of Spring Market. The two kidnappers now in ragged clothing — tortured beyond their sanity — laid tied up against the back of the bike. This strange combination immediately attracted the attention of the people in the area.

After squeezing himself through the crowd with great difficulty, Ye Hong returned with Xian'er to the place where he left the old man behind. To his surprise, he found that there were already a few uniformed security guards gathered at that exact location.

They were holding a book and carefully recording down what the old man had told them.

"Grandpa!" Xian'Er immediately jumped down from Ye Hong's embrace and ran towards the old man in the midst of the crowd.
