The pair of grandfather and granddaughter finally reunited, hugging each other tightly and crying like a mess.

Suddenly, a man and a woman walked out from the group of security guards and stood in front of Ye Hong.

The man — currently in his prime — stood tall and sturdy with a square face full of heroic spirit.

The woman, on the other hand, seemed much younger and did not look much older than Ye Hong. She was tall and slender, carrying a hint of mischievousness on her pale face.

Holding onto a red notebook, she followed behind the male security officer while giving Ye Hong a curious look.

Before the security guards could say anything, however, the two kidnappers could no longer hold themselves back.

Having been forcefully dragged by Ye Hong the whole way, their faces and bodies were now covered in several wounds. Compared to that devil, seeing the security guards walk towards them was like looking at the savior.

The two of them threw themselves in front of the male security officer and tightly hugged his thighs. With tears and snot running down their cheeks, they shouted, "Comrade Security Officer, please take us away quickly! I beg you!"

"We're kidnappers, please hurry up and arrest us!"

The few security guards and the spectators all around stood petrified in the spot upon witnessing such an absurd scene.

Even after working all these years as security guards, this was the first time they had seen a criminal collapse like this.

What inhumane methods had that youth used on them to crush their spirits as so?

Dragging the old man to Ye Hong's side, Xian'er pointed at him and said: "Grandpa, it's this Big Brother who rescued me from the bad guys. He managed to beat down the two guys all by himself! So cool!"

Upon hearing the young girl's remarks, the market erupted into an uproar.

The cheers and applauses from the crowd were suddenly followed up by the flashes and clicks of the cameras.

As tears flowed down his face, the old man — relieved to have gotten his granddaughter back — held Ye Hong's hand tightly and said, "Little brother, this old man really doesn't know how to thank you. Thank you…. Thank you so much!"

Looking at the old man's excited appearance and thankful attitude, Ye Hong immediately let out a bright smile, feeling that all his efforts were worth it.

The dignified male security officer frowned at the two kidnappers and shouted, "Arrest these two men and bring them to the car!"

At that instant, a few security guards ran over, arrested the kidnappers, and dragged them away.

When they passed by the crowd, they were immediately shot with insults and looked down on by the surrounding people. If it wasn't for the fear of accidentally hitting the security guards, the citizens would have already sent the rotten vegetables and rotten eggs flying towards them.

The pair of male and female security guards remained in their positions as the female guard gazed towards Ye Hong with a look of curiosity.

With a pout of her mouth, Soong Lingling snuck a menacing glare at Duan Feihu when she heard him call her ignorant — a rather cute response.
