C1 New Campus for the First Time

Unlike most people, Su went to North Star. She didn't have a prominent family background, and she didn't have a strong political relationship.

When she first appeared, she had long, dark, thick hair that fell in uneven bangs that covered half her eyes, and she hung her head shyly, a small voice coming from her pale lips.

"Hello, everyone. My name is Su Qian, and I come from the third central area of Huai City. Please take care of me during the new semester." After that, she humbly bowed to the whole class.

The homeroom teacher continued, "Su Qian is a transfer student from Star Nebula Academy. Although she transferred to another school in the middle of the semester, everyone still has to give her the warmest welcome."

The entire class burst into applause. Su Qianyun blushed with embarrassment, and as the applause faded, Teacher Li's voice sounded in her ears, "Student Su Qianyun, please find a seat and sit down. We're going to start the class."

Sue took a quick look around the room. There were about thirty seats, all in single file, and a few empty ones in the back row. She picked a seat near the window and walked over.

The March wind blew through the rustling trees outside the classroom, bringing with it the cool of the early morning, and the warmth of the sun on Sue's shallow face and on her desk helped to ease her nerves when she first arrived in a strange place.

Swish!

The golden textbook suddenly turned dark. She took the opportunity to look at the windowsill, only to see that a boy sitting diagonally across from the window had closed the curtains.

The only thing she could see from her shallow angle was the boy rubbing his flaxen hair with long white fingers, as if he had just woken up and was disturbed by the morning sun outside the window.

Beichen University, one of the Five Famous Universities, was known as the Golden Tower of the university. It was a turning point in society. Most of the students who came here were either second-generation rich kids or second-generation government officials. A third of the students drove to school, while the other third were driven by chauffeurs. Only a few students, students like Su Yan, who passed the cut-off mark, took the bus or bicycled to school every day.

The general idea passed through Sue's shallow mind for a moment, and then she looked away from the boy and listened calmly to the professor's history of economics on the platform.

The timetable for the new semester was sent to her email at the end of the last period. Economics was a little more than other professions, and in addition to the extra homework assigned to them, there were three major classes a day from Monday to Friday, one to three minor classes, but by the time the second period was over, most of the class had dispersed.

The pink lady bicycle slid down the winding slide into the dark alley, and as always, Su Changhe returned with dinner on the way back.

The night seemed to come early today.

The streetlamps in front of the house were flickering yellow, and the long, dark alleyways were like a door to hell.

Su Qian's action of locking the car paused as her eyes landed on the silver bell on her wrist.

Ding, ding, ding...

"Oh no!"

Realizing what was going on, she was about to go upstairs, but a gust of cold wind came from the darkness, and a dark object quickly rushed towards her!

In the nick of time, she kicked off the wall and somersaulted backward in the air. As she landed, she saw the black ball crash to the ground like a puddle of mud, but quickly reform into a smooth head, a huge body, and spiderlike limbs. A large, blazing red eye opened from the center of its face.

- - "Crane ~"

"In the end, they still found us!" Su Qian's face turned dark. She took out two palm-sized sharp awls from her backpack. The silver circle in the middle rotated slightly and extended another ten centimeters from each end.

The monster in the darkness charged at her with its strong body. Its limbs, which were supposed to be muddy, turned into sharp and hard blades in an instant, clashing with the Directionless Awl in front of Su Qian, creating dazzling sparks. Its other three limbs continued to move flexibly, but Su Qian was also extremely agile. She took the opportunity to slip out of the monster's body, and without waiting for the monster to turn around, she decisively climbed onto its back and stabbed the Directionless Awl into its head!

"Crane!"

With its dying roar, it immediately melted into a puddle of black water and disappeared into the ground.

Su Qian knelt down on one knee, but she knew that the demonic spiritual beasts would not act alone, so in the darkness, three ugly monsters crawled along the wall.

"Who sent you? Who sent you..." Su Qian seemed to be questioning, but she was actually talking to herself.

She was a Demon Hunter, so she naturally understood that this kind of magical beast didn't have human emotions or human language.

The three of them worked together to attack her. Their strong hind legs jumped on the wall and their greedy teeth were about to tear her into pieces!

"Big Dipper, Purple Air Ice Soul!"

In the midst of the battle, Su Qian was constantly changing her hand gestures, and the Directionless Awl in the air suddenly emitted a purple light. With her as the center, a layer of frost formed on the ground and quickly spread in all directions.

The ice spread across the corners of the street, freezing the air and filling the narrow alley with a powerful chill. The blade, less than a foot away from her, was finally swallowed by the ice.

The raid had failed, and the night was not nearly as dark as it had been when they first arrived.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

"Arghh!"

Su Qian also fell to her knees. She could feel that there wasn't much spiritual energy left in her body, especially when her inner core had just been formed and wasn't stable enough yet.

But the silver bell on her wrist did not stop ringing for a long time. She raised her weak eyes and saw a drop of black ink coming out of the crack in the ground, cunningly trying to escape in the dark.

"We can't let it go! We can't let it leak our whereabouts!" Su Qian shouted in her heart. She tried to stand up, but she couldn't control her exhausted body anymore.

Seeing that she could not catch up with the black fog, she was anxious and angry. At this moment, the windows on the seventh floor of the night sky suddenly opened and two tiny silver needles, which were caught by Su's shallow eyes, pierced the black fog.

The painful black fog struggled on the wall but failed. In the end, it evaporated into the air...

Su Qian's heart tightened. She quickly took her backpack and basket and ran upstairs.

As expected, her mother woke up.

She quickly ran to the bed to check. Fortunately, her mother's complexion was much better than the night before.

"Mom, those things still came to us." Su Qian spoke with slight chagrin. She put away the silver needle jade box that her mother opened and put it back on the bedside table.

"Shallow, how many times have I told you that, with your current abilities, you can't use the Ice Soul spell, because it's too easy for your talent to backfire on you?"

"I know, Mother, but it's the third time we've moved. Why can't we get rid of them?"

Ye Chunyu fell into deep thought for a moment, and then he seemed to have remembered something, and his face was full of guilt. "Maybe it's because they want this cursed heart of the blood spirit fox. Mom tired you out, or else you wouldn't have come into contact with such a vicious beast. Mom should let you live a better life, not let you move again and again for me..."

Su Yan couldn't remember how many times her mother had blamed herself, but she was patient enough to cover her mother's bed and comfort her. "I'll be fine."

Her mother's eyes glistened with tears, and the corners of her mouth curved in a gentle smile. "My dear, how do you feel about going to your new school today?"

"Pretty good. It's also a famous school. The teaching and equipment are quite good. Are you hungry? I'll go make dinner." Su Qian gave her mother a peaceful smile. When she closed the door and went out, she almost choked on her breath. After a while, she calmed down the spiritual energy in her body and went to the kitchen to prepare dinner.

She was a Demon Hunter. Although she didn't want to admit it, she did have a second identity that was different from ordinary people in the dark places where light was not prevalent in the city.

She had hidden her talent and skills since she was young, living a normal life under the protection of her mother. Until the battle with the Blood Spirit Fox three years ago, when her mother had been ambushed by the fox. Before the fox demon died, it had planted its powerful beast core in her heart, forming an indestructible curse. Over the years, her mother had been tortured by it, and she had been chased by the demonic beasts. In order to protect her mother, she could only ask for the talent that had been sealed for a long time.

This was the third time she had seen this wave of demonic beasts. Her mother had said that the shapeshifting beasts lived by robbing others of their spiritual energy, but Su Qian felt that these creatures with no intelligence were not smart enough to follow her.

As for what it was, she did not know...
