C2 Encountering Colleagues

Last night her mother had been ill, and Sue had not slept well, and the next day she was still groggy as she rode through the asphalt woods of the campus.

Whoosh!

"Ah!"

The silver car sped past her, not caring about the pedestrians on the side of the road. It splashed a scoop of dirty water on Su Qian's jeans.

The coldness seeped into her skin and instantly made Su Qian wake up a lot.

She stopped her bike at once and watched in horror as the owner of the car, who had been driving so fast, finally drifted into the parking space at a hundred and eighty degrees. The door opened, and a boy in white T- gray slacks locked the door and went straight into the next store without even looking at the innocent bystanders.

How rude! How unethical!

Su Qian was indignant in her heart, but when she thought about how she was just a poor scholar, what could she do to a rich second generation?

Forget it, I'll just admit that I'm unlucky!

Thinking of this, she could only be discouraged and clean the dirty water on her pants. After locking the bicycle, she walked towards the teaching building.

"Su, Classmate Su Qian!" A clear voice suddenly came from behind her.

Su Qian turned her head when she heard the voice and saw a thin and small girl running towards her.

Her skin was very fair, and her bright black hair was tied into two neat little pigtails that fell over her shoulders. Her features were not remarkable, but they were pretty, and she had a lovely dimple on the left side of her face when she smiled.

"Good morning, Student Su." She smiled and greeted him in a friendly tone.

"Good morning." Someone knew her as soon as she arrived at the new campus. It wasn't hard for Su Qian to figure out that they should be in the same class, but she couldn't remember the name.

"I'm Lin Lin, I'm sitting behind you on the left. Don't you remember?" She understood Su Qian's embarrassment, but didn't make things difficult for her. Instead, she happily introduced herself.

This made Su Qian feel gratified. Maybe she could make her first friend in this unfamiliar school.

"Hello, Lin Lin, I'm Su Qian." She returned a friendly smile.

"Hurry up and go into the classroom. Today is Devil Zhou's full day class, he doesn't like students being late the most," Lin Lin reminded.

Although Su Qian didn't know where Devil Zhou got his nickname from, seeing Lin Lin's serious face, he didn't dare to slack off and quickly followed her into the classroom.

The classroom was on the third floor, near the middle of the stairs. She went up the stairs on the left, but on the right she met the tall boy in white slacks.

Sue quickened her pace in mild surprise and went into the classroom to find the boy sitting on the windowsill. He threw his backpack on the desk and unscrewed the cap and drank his milk.

She could not believe that the rude man who made her drenched in sweat was actually in the same major as her, and he was sitting diagonally opposite her!

Su Qianyun froze at the door, staring at the boy with her round eyes until the boy noticed her and wiped the milk from his lips with his pink tongue, his blank eyes saying: Why is this strange girl staring at me?

"Remember to be on time for Friday," another boy said, breaking the awkward stare.

Su Qian clenched and unclenched her fists. She was not a brave person by nature, so she was destined to not receive a fair judgment for this accident...

She silently returned to her seat and a face with ill intentions appeared beside her.

"Hey, Student Su Qian, you're staring at Gao Ming like that. Do you want to be a member of the glutinous rice ball as well?" Her eyes lit up as she asked, and her smile was full of messy meanings.

"W-what glutinous rice balls?" Su Qian was confused.

"It's Gao Ming's fan group. After all, he's a handsome little Midwestern guy. How could he not have three or five little fangirls supporting him? Look at the way you looked at Rice Ball." She exaggeratedly described.

Su Qian's Virgin Mary.

"I'm not. You're thinking too much. I don't chase stars. Uh, I don't chase mixed-blood handsome guys either." She calmly took out a book from her backpack and no longer paid attention to Lin Lin's nonsense. She flipped to the part where she had to attend class today.

The girl wanted to say something else, but the ringtone came from the radio. She glanced at Professor Zhou, who was walking in with his head held high, and immediately returned to her seat.

Su Qian, who had regained her composure, raised her eyes and looked at the man she had mentioned. His eyes were of different colors. Su Qian had noticed that one of the boy's eyes was black and one of his eyes was light blue. However, the light blue side of his eyes was slightly covered by a fringe. Su Qian had only noticed him when he raised his head to drink milk. His features were clear.

But such an impeccable-looking boy had no morals at all, and Su Yan could only say that one could not judge a book by its cover.

After another day of classes, Lin Lin claimed that her family owned the dessert shop next to the school. She invited Su Jian to eat ice cream, but because she missed her mother, Su Jian turned her down politely.

Fortunately, Mama Su's body was gradually getting better. This was a cycle, and every time she used the Soul Returning Formation to help her mother suppress the inner demon, she would be able to buy a short period of time to recover. At first, she could completely suppress it by herself, but as time went on, the inner demon corroded more and more, and she spent more and more effort, while her mother became weaker and weaker...

The night flowed in the room, loneliness and loneliness crept into her heart, and the thought of her mother's illness made her lose sleep again. She did not know how many hours she spent tossing and turning in bed, but at last she sat up, put on her shoes, and went downstairs for a walk in the street.

The evening breeze was cool and breezy, and the nearby shops and supermarkets were closed. There were pastoral ponds on both sides of the road that had not yet been developed, and the sound of insects and frogs.

On one side were organic vegetables from the local people. On the other side was a residential area waiting to be demolished.

The wind rustled the rubbish on the side of the road, or she was so preoccupied with her mother that it took her a long time to realize that this cold, biting wind was not...

Boom...

There was a faint explosion in the quiet air. If one listened carefully, they would hear the sound of a fight.

Su Qian looked over curiously. The source of the sound seemed to be coming from the abandoned residential area on the other side. She thought that the Demonic Spirit Beasts had caught up with them again, so she carefully took out the Directionless Awl and felt her way forward.

The snake demon had a human head and the body of a snake. She was trapped in the center of the open space by a spell in the air. The power of the spell seemed to be very strong, and from time to time, there would be golden spells spinning in the air. The long tail of the snake would be burned back whenever it touched the spell, but even so, the spell did not completely restrict her cultivation for a long time.

The human, on the other hand, was only a boy in his early twenties.

Wait!

Su Qian was shocked. The handsome face that was stained with mud was Gao Ming!

Why is he here? Su Qian thought.

In the blue light, his movements were agile, and he held a hexagonal, long, and thin iron weapon in his hand. He was fighting the snake demon, but as his strength was used up, he and the snake demon fell into a state of exhaustion and anxiety. However, compared to the snake demon, who had been weakened by the rune array, he always had a better chance of winning.

Perhaps the snake demon had seen through this as well, for as the barrier formed by the runes descended lower and lower, it broke free of the array with all its might, risking the destruction of its soul.

The flying runes scattered all over the sky and fell to the ground. As Gao Ming looked at the destroyed formation, a trace of astonishment flashed through his eyes.

The snake woman's wild laugh echoed through the air, shaking the forest. In the night, her huge tail slithered between the old buildings.

Su Qian rubbed her eyes that were blinded by the dust. After a moment, when she looked at the battlefield in front of her, she saw that the snake demon was already hovering above a half demolished building. Its sharp fangs were hanging upside down from the corner of her red lips.

Su Qian Qian was stunned. She had entered the martial arts world quite late and had only seen a few little demons apart from the three times she had fought demon beasts. This was the first time she had seen such a powerful demoness. It was obvious that Gao Ming was stronger than her, but even he was caught off guard.

Then, Gao Ming had no choice but to give up on the idea of using the rune array. His hands formed a seven-to-seven shape in front of his lips, and as he muttered an incantation, the magic tool suspended in front of him began to tremble. Suddenly, dozens of identical magic tools appeared and began to revolve around him faster and faster. They also drew out a scarlet-orange flame from the ground.

The light of the magical weapon fell to the ground with a dull thud. It was only then that Su Qian realized that the rune was suppressing the green snake.
