C6 Gao Ming's Background

"It's in me, and it's active on a full moon. I thought I'd go out and buy some booze to numb myself." He said weakly and looked at the moon in the clouds. He frowned and felt uncomfortable.

Su Qian-Shan was not suitable to let him drink blood on the road. After thinking for a while, he picked him up from the ground and asked, "Where do you live?"

He raised his hand with difficulty and pointed to the beautiful Jinwan District by the riverside, "Building 5, Building 5, 7001."

Su Qian put her fish and vegetables on the ground and helped him walk towards the gate of the area.

She searched for a long time before she saw a large number 5. However, she had to swipe a card to enter the unit. She wanted to ask Gao Ming about it, but he was in a daze, so she searched his pockets without permission, but she couldn't find a key card!

Could it be that he fell to the side of the road when the cold hit him?

Just as Su Qian was at a loss for what to do, the property manager who was on duty inside noticed them and immediately opened the door and walked out.

"How is Gao Ming?" He was a tall, thin young man in a loose-fitting business suit and black-rimmed glasses. He didn't look much older than she and Gao Ming.

Seeing that he knew Gao Ming, Su Qian was happy, "We forgot to bring our access card. Can you help me send him upstairs?"

The boy looked at her with bright eyes and nodded firmly. Then he unlocked the door with his card and took the elevator with Guan. They took Gao Ming to the seventh floor.

But before she could ask, the boy turned to her. "And you are?"

"Oh, I'm Gao Ming's classmate. I found something wrong with him on the road, so I sent him back." Just in case, Su Piaoan answered his question in a more euphemistic way.

After the boy heard it, his eyes gradually became serious, and he pressed his lips together.

"I know. Thank you for sending him back. I'm Gao Ming's friend. I'll take care of him from now on." He didn't talk too much about Gao Ming's situation, as if he already knew something unusual about Gao Ming.

He was obviously not an ordinary person. Since that was the case, there was no need to hide anything anymore.

"The ice within his body hasn't been completely suppressed yet. My blood might be able to help him." Su Qian revealed her wrist and explained.

The boy was surprised and looked at her, "You're also a Demon Hunter?"

Su Qian nodded her head solemnly.

The girl looked at her, then at Gao Ming, who was sweating. She didn't know what to do, "You said your blood..."

To prove it to him, Su took the cup from the table and cut her white forearm again. She knew how much she could bear, and after half a cup of blood she pressed the cloth to the wound.

When she held it up to the boy, her hand was trembling from loss of blood, "Give it to him."

The boy took the cup doubtfully. Su Qian needed to clean her wound, so she left the room and sat in the living room waiting for the result.

The bright and clean living room was decorated with Persian crystal lamps.

While she waited, she took a look around the large, upscale apartment. The furnishings were simple postmodern, the white marble floor was perfectly connected with black brick, the tawny carpet was covered with a transparent low-toed coffee table and an irregularly shaped sofa with a diamond pattern, and the 3D landscape of the glacier desert in the TV background was illuminated by the blue starlight from the back wall to the ceiling, making one feel as if they were under the stars. Beyond the living room was a black rectangular marble dining table with matching white chairs.

The life of a professional demon hunter is generally not bad, as a reward for a special gift, but it must not be too conspicuous, or it will be against the rules of the profession, and will be susceptible to the envy and hostility of those in the same profession.

The door opened gently, and the boy with the stained glass stood in the doorway looking at her in disbelief.

Su Qian slowly got up and looked at him for a while. Then, he turned around and went to the kitchen to put down the cup. He poured a cup of water and sugar for Su Qian.

"Drink a cup of sugar water first. You have lost too much blood and need to replenish your iron," he said gently.

Su Qian held the warm cup of water in her palm and looked up at him with a polite smile, "Thank you. How is Gao Ming?"

"He's fine now. Thank you so much. By the way, what's your name?" He continued to ask. He adjusted his glasses on the bridge of his nose and took a seat opposite him.

"My surname is Su. My name is Su Qian."

"My name is Li Zezhe, and I should be older than you by a few years. You can just call me Brother Zezhe." He introduced himself with a friendly smile.

Su Yan lowered her head and smiled. Compared to Gao Ming, Li Zezhe seemed much friendlier. She was confused.

"Brother Zezhe, have you known Gao Ming for a long time?" she asked.

"It's been five or six years. I came to this city to work before I graduated from high school, and I got to know Gao Ming by chance. He told me that he was a demon hunter." He replied smoothly.

"Do you know where he got the gelid qi?" Su Xuan-Yue asked. It seemed Li Ze-Zhe was just an ordinary man.

He thought for a while and then looked at Su Qian. The doubt on his face slowly disappeared.

"I heard this from Uncle Gao," he said. "When Gao Ming's mother was pregnant with Gao Ming, she was very weak and sick."

Su Qian's heart skipped a beat, and she quickly confirmed, "Are you talking about the owner of the blue house on the top of the Mulin Snow Mountain?"

"En." He nodded his head with a solemn expression.

When the owner of the Blue House was mentioned, everyone could think of the Snow Grandma of the Rakshasa Constellation. It was rumored that she had cultivated a cold secret technique and turned the entire Mulin Mountain into snow. Not a blade of grass grew within a hundred kilometers, and even animals avoided it.

"Uncle Gao used to be a disciple of Grandma Snow, and he wanted to ask for Grandma Snow's forgiveness, but he hasn't even seen her once in twenty years." He explained worriedly.

Su Qian suddenly remembered what Uncle Su Yan had said and couldn't help but worry." I've heard that this Grandma Xue is eccentric and cruel. In the past, when Grandmaster Chi Fangyong failed to ask for medicine, he ended up angering her and ended up being refined into a Beast Repelling Pill."

"That's exactly what Gao Ming was thinking, so all these years he's been diligently cultivating, constantly hunting and refining himself so that one day he can see Grandma Snow and ask her to help him get rid of the cold." Li Zezhe said firmly, as if he believed Gao Ming would do it.

Everyone knew that there were three big figures in the Otherworld that couldn't be messed with: Nan Fuxing, Bei Luosha, and Di Ahsheng. One of them was Granny Snow. It wasn't hard to imagine that Granny Snow hadn't killed Gao Ming because his father was her disciple, but as a punishment, she had left a curse on him for the rest of his life.

Su Qian thought of her mother, who was also suffering from the same mental demons, and she sighed in her heart. She looked up and saw the family pictures of the three people on the television counter, all of them Asians, and she could not help but ask, "Are these Gao Ming's parents? Why, isn't Gao Ming a mixed-blood?"

She remembered that the day after she transferred, she heard Lin Lin say that Gao Ming's two pupils were different. He was a mixed-blood!?

"Mixed-blood?" Li Zezhe paused for a moment, then smiled. "Of course not. Gao Ming's mother was also a descendant of a Demon Hunter, but she died when Gao Ming was seven because she was born weak."

So that's how it is. Su Piaoan finally understood. Although she still couldn't explain why his eyes weren't the same color, she thought about it carefully and realized that Gao Ming was also a poor man who had lost his family.

She looked at the only family photograph in the large living room. Gao Ming was still six or seven years old, standing on his mother's left with a big smile on his face.

"The cold Qi in his body is getting worse and worse every year, and I can't cure the symptoms, so I can't hold it in any longer. I didn't expect that your appearance would miraculously save him." Li Zezhe shook his head in amazement. His eyes were full of admiration as he looked at Su Qian.

Su Qian scratched her head in embarrassment. "Actually, I don't understand what's going on either. I discovered since I was a child that my blood can cure animal diseases. Uncle Su Yan, my father's brother, said that my blood was special and a rare medicine. I didn't expect to be able to help Gao Ming today."

For the first time, she discovered that her blood had a magical effect. The veterinarian had advised her mother to let Tiger die, and on the first night she had cried while holding him in her arms. While feeding him meat, she had accidentally cut her finger with sharp teeth.

Uncle Su Yan held her blood sample and studied it for several months, but he didn't get anything out of it. He only told her to keep quiet, otherwise she would attract the attention of the monsters.

"I'll have to go through my fathers' medical notes to see if I can find an answer to that. In any case, your presence here is a great surprise to us." His eyes lit up, as if he had guessed that Su Qian would agree.

"I understand. Don't worry, Brother Ze Zhe."

"Thank you."

"My mom is still waiting for me at home for dinner. Since Gao Ming's condition has stabilized, I'll go home first." Remembering that she had not come home yet, her mother must be worried. Su Lian didn't want to stay any longer. She drank the sugar water and put on her coat.

"Okay, I'll send you off."

Li Zezhe walked Su Qian to the entrance of the residential area. Except for the owners who occasionally went out for a walk, the sound of the waves on the river road was still the same.

"That's all. Brother Zezhe, goodbye."

"Be careful on the way. Goodbye."

After saying goodbye to Li Zezhe, Su Qian returned to the side of the road. Fortunately, the food was not thrown away like garbage. She picked up the plastic belt and continued to rush to the bus stop.
