C11 RELATIONSHIP

The girl stops walking, and turns to look at him with eyes filled with indignation, she says in a voice extremely sure as if to confirm herself:

“I am human, not your toy. Please don't misunderstand that"

When Malcolm hears that, he falls silent, a stream of dark memories rushing through him.

“If you want to inherit this family, you have to work harder. What you have is nothing compared to other nobles”

"If you stop walking, I'll be ready to kick you out of this house like that pervert"

The young man loses his temper, clutching his head, eyes burning red, he shouts:

"Shut up!"

It's not clear if he's speaking with his memories or with Mia. He angrily kicks the chair over, muttering:

"People are like objects, life is meaningless"

It's also late at night, as always, Mia continues to eat in her room. Today, when no one is watching outside, the girl sneaks out of the garden and lies down on the green grass, listening to the sounds of nature. Only now, the girl feels a comfort she has not had for a long time. Mia remembers her family, she misses the days of working in the fields at noon, she remembers the simple meals that her mother used to prepare. The girl remembers the smell of the country wind and the starry sky every night, whenever she asked Asher to look at the stars, he always showed an unpleasant attitude but always agreed with her. All that belongs to the homeland, Mia misses very much. She spreads her arms and legs wide, thinking about her life. She lays in the garden for a long time and then falls asleep again and again, just like the first time she came here.

At midnight, Olivia comes to check but does not find Mia in the room, she immediately informs Malcolm. The man seems to think about the prospect of the girl running away and immediately orders everyone to search around the mansion. Everyone searches the living room, bedroom, kitchen, rooftop, and even the garden, but there is no sign of Mia.

“But it's midnight, where can she go? It’s so annoying! We're sleeping" – says Karina.

Unfortunately, Malcolm hears the words, he squeezes the girl's neck and lifts her. Karina panics and begs, he throws the girl down, making her terrified.

“Get out now!” - The man tells her.

Knowing she is fired, Karina quickly kneels to beg for forgiveness, but Malcolm once says he would never take back his words. He repeats it and counts from 1 to 3, the boy angrily glances at the girl, draws his dagger, and turns towards her. Karina is scared and quickly runs back to her room. Her friends Diana, Maya, and Linda are only secretly glad to have finally eliminated another opponent. Their friendship is just fake, they play together to satisfy their greed, hatred, and bad character. Suddenly a young man with silver hair comes over, holding Mia in his arms, his face bright, and saying to Malcolm:

“Hey, are you looking for her?”

The man sees Mia and immediately walks over and grabs the girl, looks at the strange man, and says:

"What did you do to her?"

The boy laughs and says calmly:

"Didn't do anything, I just saw her sleeping on the grass so I took her to my car to rest, but heard noises outside, so I guess you're looking for this girl."

Lita stares at the boy, then back at Malcolm. Just to see that he is very upset.

“Come on” – Handing Mia over to Malcolm – “I'm just here to visit you, not to cause a grudge. But I don't understand why you let your girl lie in the garden in such cold weather?"

"It's none of your business!" he says, gesturing to the butler.

Olivia understands what Malcolm means and tells everyone to leave.

The boy shrugs, smiles, and says:

“Of course, that's none of my business. But a nice person like me wouldn't have the heart to let such a beautiful girl lie out here"

Malcolm does not say anything more, just looks at Mia affectionately and enters the house. The boy puts his arm behind his head and follows him inside. Long sigh thoughtfully.

“You're still the same, Malcolm. Always so cold, but you seem to have become colder since knowing that this family will belong to you"

“Shut up, David! If you come here just to tell me these words, then go home"

The boy named David laughs.

"I don't have time to go a long way just to come here and say such nonsense to you"

Olivia bows to David and says to him:

“Let me arrange a room for you to rest”

“No need, it's already morning anyway. Only blame that I should have chosen a better time to come here” – whispers to Olivia – “Do you know what that girl is to him? Besides, I haven't seen her before"

The butler simply answers questions:

"If it's about this, you should ask Sir Malcolm directly"

David doesn’t get his question answered so he acts like a child and puts on a sulky face. Saying in a reproachful voice:

"Didn't you tell me everything in the past? People’s hearts are so changeable.”

"Stop talking nonsense, if you don't sleep, don't disturb others" - says Malcolm.

Then the guy leaves.

David crosses his arms and sits on the sofa watching TV. Tell the housekeeper:

“Has he changed? Or just as fierce as ever, Olivia?"

“As I think about it, you have to feel it for yourself, after all, you and he were best friends after all”

The two words "best friend" both near and far make David fall into contemplation for a moment, he holds the remote in his hand, without blinking. Olivia probably understands the boy's mood, so she speaks up to cut off the train of thought:

“Do you want some egg tarts?”

“If so, that would be great, thank you!”
