C6 A SURPRISE

Since there is no food left, everyone has to wait to cook something new. Meanwhile, the noble ladies all leave the room and wait, except for Mia who stands still.

“Such a cruel person!" a noble girl assesses.

Karina agrees and replies cheerfully:

After the meal, Mia is ordered to stay behind to wash the dishes for the crime of dropping food, which is not difficult for her. While everyone returns to the room on Olivia's orders, only Mia stands in the kitchen and completes the assigned task. She washes the dishes while thinking about her family:

“I wonder if everyone has gone to work in the fields now?! I wish they could have some chicken, too… They're delicious!” – The girl says to herself, smiling happily.

"Really!" – The boy leans close to Mia's face, causing her to suddenly step back and almost fall, fortunately, John catches her hand in time and helps her up.

Mia quickly bows her head in thanks.

“Is it that delicious?” John asks the girl again.

"Yes. He is the one whom I want to protect” – Mia smiles gently, her hands quickly washing the dirty dishes.

Looking at Mia's hardworking appearance, John feels like he has been attracted to her. After finishing, the two talk together about all kinds of things in the world, such a radiant and lovely girl makes a man want to conquer.

The girl is continuing to clean the living room when she sees Lita come down the stairs with a slightly pale face. Mia hastily bows her head and apologizes to the girl for accidentally tearing her skirt. But contrary to Mia's worries, Lita smiles.
