After he left the room, I crumbled to the floor. I hurt him. I was always irrational and selfish. I care more about my feelings than his. How could I have said that?

But he hurt me too. How could he tell me to go and date Steven? Are we breaking up? I asked myself as I thought of my childish behavior just now.
