C7 Waiting

On getting home, Alice walks straight up to her room and slams the door.

‘She must have gotten into a fight with Cammy’

Alfred thought. Alice would only show such emotions towards Cammy.

Alice buries herself into her pillow and sobs profusely. She couldn’t bring herself to imagine what those two are up to and she knows they would definitely be a step closer to being together.

She just couldn’t accept the fact that Cammy would be with someone again.

Enduring the past ones were hard enough but now this hurts even more because she can see how much love Cammy has for Jake.

Alice cried until she had no strength left in her and slept off.

The family dinner which usually has both families and the kids now consisted of only the parents.

Since the kids were busy being kids, both parents decided to go on a double date since it had been a long time.

Alice was alone at home. She contemplated calling Cammy but had no idea what to tell her. Should she call and say she just wanted to check up on her or call and ask her to come home or call and ask when she would be back.

She has no idea what to do.

Alice ended up not calling,she waited outside for Cammy to arrive.

Few minutes after 7pm Jake's luxurious car dropped Cammy off in front of her house.

Jake wraps her In a warm hug before leaving while Cammy stands there still feeling the warmth even after his departure.

She looks at his departing car and smiles as she jumps and twirls happily obviously in a good mood.

Alice stood by the side watching everything as her barely closed wounds were torn open again.

She has never seen Cammy that happy.

Not even when she got half a million subscribers on YouTube,not when she got a million subscribers on Instagram, not even when she won the big game that showed her on TV.

It’s love, definitely love.

Alice regains her composure and walks towards Cammy. Cammy didn’t see her coming and was still lost in her own world smiling as she reminisced about what just happened.

Alice pats her shoulder gently and she jumped obviously scared because she didn’t see Alice coming.

‘Hey. . . Y-you are back?’

‘Uh ? Oh yeah. . . Thank you’

The air was a bit awkward because it was the first time Cammy had gone out of character and she felt a little guilty about it.

‘What of mom and dad?’

Cammy asked

‘They all went out on a date.’

‘Oh that’s great! Hehehe’

Relieved that she doesn’t have to explain herself Cammy exhales dramatically and walks into the house to change her clothes.

Alice follows behind her naturally as she collects her bag and carries it in for her.

Jake dropped Cammy off and zoomed off to a club to meet his friends. He felt very happy and a step closer to achieving his goals today. Even though the progress is slower than usual.

He had attempted to kiss Cammy previously but she got so shy and refused and being a gentleman,he didn’t force it.

One of the reasons he had asked Cammy out on a drive was to crush Alice’s ego ,he had seen that she really loves Cammy and it bothers him a lot.

He literally has no interest in Alice but he just couldn’t stand her getting in his way every time.

He purposely parked his car in a way Alice would see it when she boarded the bus and waited there till Alice came out.

When he saw her coming and looking in their direction, he held Cammy’s hand affectionately and tucks her hair behind her ear as he whispers

‘You are very pretty Cammy.’

Cammy oblivious to all these made the reaction Jake expected and he could see Alice's face blackened and turn pale almost immediately and this is what he enjoys.

He smiles with a barely visible smirk as he looks at Cammy, a blushing mess.

After Alice leaves he withdraws his hands and sprayed a hand sanitizer secretly before he starts driving downtown.

He took Cammy round the small town while occasionally flaunting his wealth as they passed by his family’s properties.

He told her about how he grew up alone and depressed and how he was bullied as a kid.Mixing both lies and truths together.

Cammy's eyes shined as she saw Jake in a new light ,he really is an upright,sweet and cool person.

Seeing that Cammy bought his cheap lies,Jake knew there that he had gotten her heart.

He took her to the beach side, got her in the mood and tried to initiate a kiss but Cammy being shy because of how much she loves Jake was hesitant.

She couldn’t believe how fast things moved and was still digesting the fact that Jake was with her together at that moment.

She turns her head away slowly avoiding the kiss while she initiates a hug.

Jake hugs her back and taps her head softly. He was in fact trying to control his anger because he has never had a girl refuse him before.

But knowing he had her heart made him reassured the next time would be smooth.

Jake laughed crazily as he remembered everything that had happened and he told them to his friends who in turn mock Alice and Cammy.

Jake drank all night with no thought of going to school the next day,he is cooking up another big plan to crush Alice even further.

Cammy took a bath as she remembers how hard Jake’s muscles felt against her soft skin and his sweet floral scent.

Her face tints pink as she imagines further a future with Jake.

Alice had heard Cammy’s stomach growling a little when she came in,she figured they didn’t go to eat.

She immediately starts cooking for Cammy while Cammy takes a bath. She cooked,made Cammy’s favourite mango smoothie and sat patiently waiting for Cammy.
