C8 Successful love story?
Cammy soaked herself in the bathtub reminiscing the sweet heart fluttering moments she spent with Jake.
She felt so warm,so warm she could feel the butterflies in her stomach going crazy from the heat.
She sat there with her flushed cheeks,wet hair and damped eyelashes looking ethereal.
She stares into space digesting each and everything that had happened with Jake.
Her love for him drove her crazy to tears.
Cammy cried softly as she felt so happy,so happy she could die.
Her love was worth it,
Her love paid,
Jake loves her just as much as she does.
She turned the tap on and cried even louder letting out the pent up overwhelming emotions she felt.
After crying for about 20 minutes, Cammy dried herself, wore her robe and left the bathroom.
Alice stood at the bathroom door, hearing Cammy relief herself of her pent up emotions moved her to tears.
She has never seen Cammy place so much importance on someone that it affects her so much.
Even though Alice knew she didn't stand a chance, she decided to stay by Cammy’s side till the very end.
After Cammy stopped crying Alice left for the kitchen,she dished Cammy’s food and sat patiently waiting.
Cammy got out of the bathroom and calls for Alice to come dry her hair.
Alice hears Cammy and responds immediately.
‘Coming’
She said.
Upon getting to the door,Alice held on to the door knob and took it a deep breath as she opened the door.
Immediately she got in,
Alice's nostrils were filled with the sweet scent of flowers, her eyes were graced with Cammy’s dazzling appearance.
Cammy had just gotten out of the bathroom, her hair still wet and damp, her skin as smooth ,soft and fair as it could be ,her eyes slightly glistening and a little swollen from crying. She looked at Alice and smiled, showing her even white sets of teeth.
A beauty that overshadows the prettiest flowers,visuals that only exist once in a thousand years.
Alice stood rooted to the spot, Cammy looked so attractive she took her breath away.
Cammy signalled for Alice to come dry her hair.
Alice regained her consciousness and walked towards Cammy.
She glanced at Cammy through the mirror and fixed the dryer in.
She blows dry Cammy's hair and brushes it ever so carefully and softly, afraid to damage even a strand of Cammy’s luxurious hair.
Cammy played with her phone while Alice dried her hair.
She received a text from Jake and smiled.
And of course Alice caught the smile because she didn’t take her eyes off Cammy even for a second .
Curious Alice peeks to see who sent the text and of course as she expected it was jake.
‘I had fun’
Jake said as he sent the text with a heart emoji attached to it.
Cammy felt a rush of oxytocin ,her heartbeat intensified and she flushed red.
‘I did too…thank you’
She replies meekly.
Alice saw all these and her expression turned ugly like one that was fed with dog shit.
She felt incredibly green with envy.
Alice ignores it and continues to dry Cammy’s hair.
She bends slightly towards the table to pick some hair product and just at that moment,Cammy turns to look at her.
Cammy’s lips brushed Alice's face slightly…
‘ Nng…’
Alice moaned inaudibly and jumped back.
She held her hands over her mouth as she flushed red.
She wasn’t sure if Cammy heard her Moan just now,it sounded so weird she felt so embarrassed.
Cammy, seeing Alice act strangely, laughed at her and asked her to pack her hair into a bun then she proceeded to press her phone.
Poor Alice was sweating buckets already,she looked like a drenched rat.
She gathered the courage and continued to style Cammy’s hair.
When she was done,she brought Cammy’s food over and sat on the bed watching Cammy eat.
She felt so satisfied, sitting close to the one she loves, watching her eat,styling her hair,picking outfits for her,cooking for her and watching her grow.
All Alice could ever wish for.
She wished the days ahead were as peaceful as this, just the two of them.
It was as though time stopped and only the two of them exists.
Cammy, oblivious to Alice's thinking, was still fawning over the text Jake sent.
They kept talking and Jake promised to coach Cammy to prepare for the upcoming competition.
As Cammy had shown her skills already ,it’s very possible she doesn’t play and is given privilege to enter the team .
Cammy knows this but still wants to compete,apparently they would be divided into teams and all of the winning teams would be accepted.
She knows Alice just started playing so if Alice were to be in her team,she could easily help her get in .
Cammy tells all this to Jake oblivious to his hate for Alice.
Jake got even more angry that Cammy had the audacity to talk about Alice with him.
He got so angry he smashed a bottle of expensive wine at the bar.
All his friends sensing the young master's anger dispersed slowly leaving only Jake in the room.
He once got very angry and smashed a bottle of whiskey on a waiter.
The waiter was badly injured and in a coma but his parents didn’t sue because they were compensated by Jake’s grandparents.
Whenever he’s angry even his friends aren’t safe.
Jake’s hate for Alice intensified and he decided to crush and mess with her even more till she decided to end her miserable life.
He calms down and replies to Cammy .
‘That’s so sweet of you as always, if only your friend could reciprocate the energy the same way.’
‘…’
Seeing Cammy didn’t respond he quickly typed ;
‘I don’t mean to be rude or anything. I could feel her reluctance when you told her to cover up for you.’
‘Ah it’s not like that…Alice is a very nice person. She was only like that because she was worried and I have never missed a family dinner so I guess it made her sad.’
Jake seeing the odds against him just kept quiet even more angry he sent a dry response
‘hmm’
‘I will talk to you later ‘
Cammy said
‘En’
Then the two stopped talking.
Cammy looks towards Alice and sees her sleeping on her bed looking so soft and cute.
Cammy pulled the bed covers and wrapped warmly.
