Few hours later…

Alice woke up, She felt someone wrap her in a soft embrace.

She turned slightly and saw Cammy sleeping so peacefully.

Afraid to wake her up, Alice stayed there just like that. Cammy is a light sleeper so she noticed Alice movement

‘Ugh… don’t move’

She whispered in her ears as she hugged her even tighter.

‘Nng…mmh’

Alice suppressed the moan threatening to come out in her throat.

It’s like Cammy is after her life today, she thought.

She stayed there letting Cammy use her as a teddy while enjoying the warmth from her body.

‘She is really soft’

Alice thought ;

‘Are all girls this soft?’

‘Eyyy what am I thinking…pervert’

She cursed herself under her breath.

Time passed and Alice also fell asleep again.

Their parents arrived and came to wake them up for dinner.

The family all ate and enjoyed dinner.

Alfred, happy that the two friends have reconciled, pats Alice on the head looking at her with a comforting gaze.

Alice felt warm inside, her eyes moistened and she looked like she was about to cry.

Everything happening is just too much for her heart, she was about to go crazy.

She hugged Alfred and sobbed softly almost inaudibly.

Alfred got worried and slightly happy, Alice has never shown such emotions in a long time within short durations.

He just hugged her and comforted her.

Alice fell asleep shortly after and Alfred tucked her to bed.

The next morning,

Alice went downstairs after dressing for school.

She went to pick Cammy and to her greatest surprise on getting to Cammy’s house, she saw Cammy all dolled up and dressed for school.

Normally she would be stunned by her beauty not surprised but today Cammy actually wore makeup!

And full face makeup!

She looked pretty, not in any way lesser or superior to her normal look but it complimented her face well.

Alice knew who she wore it for but still smiled and complimented her sincerely.

‘You look stunning…really attractive just as always’

Alice said as her gaze deepened. it’s like she could suck Cammy into her eyes and make her hers.

‘Hehehehe well thank you milady’

Cammy replied dramatically, clearly pleased with the compliments.

Oblivious to Alice's infatuated gaze,Cammy locks hands with her and strode forward towards Alfred’s car.

Alfred dropped the girls to school.

On getting to the class,

Mrs Camila walked in,the class stood up and greeted her as per the class president announcement.

Mrs Camila ordered for the class to be seated and proceeded with the morning class.

After the class,Mrs Camila divided the class into a group of four.

They were all high school students in their third year and this is one of the times students find it difficult to cope and drop out.

Their class currently had 20 students so they were divided into a group of 4, 5 students in each group.

Group 1,2,3 and 4

Cammy was in group 2 while Alice in group 1

‘ By sheer luck’ Cammy and Jake were in the same group.

Mrs Camila had decided who would be in which group so the students had no say in it.

It was a group assignment to be conducted over the weekends as it’s a social experiment.

Alice sat on her chair looking defeated.

She watched as Cammy and Jake exchanged gaze and smiled looking all lovey dovey.

After class they went for lunch.

And as expected, Jake came over to sit.

Alice had no choice ,she just sat at a corner and ate her food quietly like she didn’t exist.

She occasionally filled Cammy’s glass with juice and wiped the corners of her mouth after eating.

Jake watched every one of Alice's actions and was convinced she considers Cammy as more than a friend but Cammy is oblivious to that.

He was incredibly pissed he turned red.

Alice obviously gave no face to him as she acted like he didn't exist.

‘It wouldn’t be long before I put you in your place f*king b*tch’

He cursed under his breath.

Alice, oblivious to Jake’s dark thoughts, ate her food peacefully and did her usual.

After lunch, they had basketball training.

The coach had volunteered to teach the newbies towards the competition coming up.

He had them form unofficial groups and play against each other while correcting their mistakes.

Alice and Cammy were in the same group,

Alice was mesmerised by the gaze in Cammy’s eyes when she totally lost herself in the game and played terribly.

Cammy worried Alice couldn’t play because they were in the midst of foreign people.

She walked towards Alice after the second half of the game.

Cammy had removed her makeup looking extra fresh and her face smooth and glossy from her face serum.

She looked so beautiful and even hotter with sweat dripping down her face.

She moved close to Alice and held her hand affectionately.

‘Alice you good?’

She asked with her eyes filled with worries.

‘I noticed you weren’t playing as well as you did at home, do you need a break?’

‘…’

‘How about i play with you at home today?’

Seeing Alice wasn’t replying Cammy asked again.

Alice stood like a statue rooted to the spot.

Cammy had held her hand and tucked her hair behind her ear affectionately, the warmth from her hands still lingering on her face.

She felt a pang of lightning rush through her body and her face flushed red.

She could almost hear her heartbeat.

She really is a mess when it comes to Cammy.

Alice woke up from her daze and nodded like a kid being offered candy.

‘Yes yes today?’

‘Yes today’

Cammy replied as she smiled at Alice’s cute reaction.

The two girls looked at each other smiling,an incredibly warm sight.

Jake watched all this from a distance and looked as though he had been fed dog food.

His face a ugly shade

He swore to end the sweet relationship between the two even if it cost him his life.
