I came out of the hospital ward into the receptionist area with Nelson right beside me.

I saw one of the doctor and decided to speak with him,when I sighted Alisha and a girl seating next to her ,holding her,that must be her friend Mike told me about..I thought.

I looked at her and our eyes met,immediately I looked away not wanting her to think,I was monitoring her..

The doctor said all he wanted to say , about me going for the operation but all I did was nod my head.

I’m sick and tired of them repeating the same issue of me going for the operation…

The doctor left and we were about walking away ,when Alisha walked up to us..

She greeted,but I automatically ignored her allowing Nelson to answer her greeting…

I couldn’t believe she just accept my offer,I was definitely right ,there was nothing else she could possibly do than to accept the offer…

I decided to make jest of her a little..

And what made you change your mind so soon,miss I will never marry you for anything in this world..

I knew it ,you girls are all the same,bicth that can be brought easily with money.

Anyway the offer still stand and no one else should know about this,let it be among the three of us..

I looked at her friend and saw her still seated looking towards our direction, I looked away and turned to Alisha.

Then you better tell your friend to keep shut and not say a word to anyone..

Call me tomorrow morning and I will tell you the time to come over,so we can sign a document to seal this up…

And for your information mister Dominic I’m not one of your bitch you can buy over with your money, believe me if you were to be the last man on earth I will rather remain single than get married to you..

And me agreeing to marry you is because I need to save my brother Life,if not for that,I won't be here talking to you because your presence alone irritates me..

With that she walked away..

I was filled with rage and anger ,I looked at Nelson and all he did was tell me to calm down..

I walked away angry , Making up my mind to make sure she regret every bit of bad words she said to me…

I couldn’t believe he considered me a bitch ,just because I decided to marry him.

God knows if not for Alex,I will never marry that guy for anything..

I decided to give him a little word before leaving,and I was happy I could get to him, because I could see the rage and anger on is face ..

I walked away to were Tina was and we both went into the ward to check up on mum and Alex..

I looked at the time and saw it was already really late and immediately I turned to Tina

Tina,it late already you have to go home before your parents start looking for you..

Like they would, anyways have called mum and told her I won't be coming home today,I can’t possibly Leave you alone all by yourself.

So I’m staying with you..

Can we just go see mum and Alex and stop thanking me,…

With that we entered into mum ward and saw her up already ,still crying

I went to her and hugged her

Mum, it’s okay you have to stop crying..

It’s not okay Alisha,I failed as a mother,I should have noticed earlier,I should have seen the sign earlier,but no I was so busy still mourning over your dad that left us and look at were it brought us,I practically failed,I failed myself,I failed you and I failed Alex..

How can I ever face Alex again,how on Earth can I do that..

I felt her Pain,this is really to much for her..

Mum,you are the best mother every children will want to have,you haven’t fail me or Alex or yourself..

You have really been the best..

We both didn’t notice the change in him on time,and it practically my fault..

Let not go over this ,with blaming each other, it won't solve nothing,let us just look for a way forward.. Tina said..

I have totally forgotten she was in the room with us.

We got into Alex room and he was already awake looking up at the ceiling..

Hello Alex,how are you doing..I asked looking at him.

I’m fine Alisha..

I looked at him and saw him looking at mum

I looked at mum and saw her looking down,she is still feeling bad about the whole thing..

I’m sorry mum,I should have talked earlier when I started feeling sick I just didn’t want to see you worried about me,that was why I didn’t say anything..

The doctor talked to me and told me my situation now,I don’t want any of you to be worried..

I couldn’t stand all what he was saying so I stopped him..

Alex, it’s okay

Nothing is going to happen to you,in few days time you will go for the operation and I believe it will be successful,I just want you to be strong for us and yourself….

How are you going to get that amount of money..Alex asked..

Don’t worry about that, Everything will be okay..

Before we knew it a nurse came in,told us it was late and that Alex needed to rest.

With that we said our goodbyes to him and left the hospital…

We boarded a cab and the ride home was quite with nobody talking ,I was really happy for the slient..

My mind went back to the decision I made today and I hope I don’t regret it,I will do anything within my power to make sure Alex is okay..

I was so lost in thought ,that I didn’t know when we arrived home until mum tapped me on the shoulder..

We got down from the cab and Tina paid for the transportation and I was happy for that.

It’s nothing Alisha..

With that we entered into the house and we all went straight to our room,mum entered her room while Tina followed me to mine room…

We entered into the room and we both fell on the bed, before we knew what was happening we both slept off…

Writer POV.

The next morning Alisha woke up feeling very weak, but she decided to keep it aside and went into the bathroom..

She did her normal routine came out and dressed, while Tina was still fast asleep..

She decided that was the good time to talk to her mum,with that she left her room and went into her mum room…

She entered into the room and saw her mother already awake sitting on the bed..

Good morning mum

Morning princess, hope you slept well

Yes mum

And you?

Yes a little..

Alisha looked at her mother and was sad,she made up her mind to talk to her…

ALISHA.

Mum, there is something I want to discuss with you and I don’t want you to get angry about it..

Alright dear,I’m listening

Mum,I’m getting married very soon

I looked at her face and saw she was surprised before I knew it she started laughing..

You are really funny Alisha,if you said that just to see me laugh, then it really worked..

I’m serious mum,I know you are surprised but am sorry,

Why the sudden idea of marriage?

And I can remember you haven’t introduce any guy to me as your boyfriend,so how come you are telling me you are getting married soon..

I’m sorry mum, actually I have been seeing this guy for a year now and I really do love him,so he proposed and I accepted

Immediately I said that she looked at my finger, trying to see if I was wearing any engagement ring..

Alisha left the room feeling sad,she couldn’t believe she just lied to her mum,she checked her time and saw it was time for her to meet with Dominic ,with that she called him and he asked her to come over to the office..

Without wasting anytime,she left the house took a cab and headed for the office..

Immediately she got there ,the secretary showed her the way to the office, when she got there she knocked and entered immediately he said,you can come in…

Before she could sit,he threw a file at her and told her to go through it, before they can go on with the wedding..

Not minding his attitude,she picked up the file, opened it and was shocked with the rules guiding the offer ..
