ALISHA (POV).

I entered my school quickly and was about entering the building, when I heard someone shouted my name

Alisha!!!

I turned around and saw my best friend Christina running towards me, I smiled and waved at her.

She was the only person, who stood by me and encouraged me,the only person I could talk to whenever I am down,the only person who accepted me the way I am..

I am really lucky and blessed to have her as my friend..

Christina Maxwell is the only daughter of the rich and famous Mr and Mrs Maxwell ,she also has a brother who flirt around with different girls,the truth is I really don't know him or his name...But christina is totally different always humble and honest but she talks alot..

I was drawn out of my thought ,when I felt her tap my shoulder..

You were so lost In thought that you didn't even noticed when I reached your side,she said..

I was only thinking about how great a friend you really are ,I replied smiling.

Am really blushing thanks dear..

Now let get to class before that wicked lecturer get in before us,I really can't stand his presence,his teaching are so boring that I find it hard to even understand what he is always saying,am beginning to wonder how I passed his course, Even his looks is so scary,he doesn't smile.i wonder if he is ever happy..she said as we walked quickly to the lecture room..

Tina you talk to much ,I replied

And that is why I am your friend and you love me she said.

I smiled and quicken my step..

Alisha,I have told you not to call me Tina,it is Christina for crying out loud or don't you want me to be tall ..

Of course I want you to be tall.

Then don't call me Tina, it's Christina

Finally, we got to the lecture hall, immediately we entered there was laughter in the hall...

Not again ,I turned back trying to go out,but Christina stopped me..

Alisha,you have to stop letting this people get to you,you have to stop letting them know what they are doing is affecting you..

You have to be strong and face this,you are stronger and smarter than this..

I nodded and smiled,then I went to my seat and started reading, but i was hearing all they were saying,why can't they just mind there business and leave me alone..

Look at her a girl said,I wonder why she is still in school,there family is cursed that is why her father left them,she is nothing but bad luck ...

I looked at the direction the talks were coming from and I saw it was actually Michelle who said all those things..

What have I done to this girl?

Why can't she just leave me alone and mind her business,why does she hate me so much..

I decided not to let what she said affect me,just then the lecturer entered,and I prayed for his class to end quickly so I can go to my place of work,where I work as a waitress.

DOMINIC (POV).

Am beginning to regret why I fired my secretary, I have a lot of file to look through that I don't even know we're to begin..

I tried calling my manager but I changed my mind,I couldn't stand is presence so I do my best to avoid him,my dad is the number one reason why I still have to keep him here.

Angrily,I picked up my phone and called my guard,and before I knew it,

Mike,I want you to come to my office right now,with that I hanged up..

Few minutes later , Mike walked into my office ,I want you to go through this file and tell me there content ,I said handling the files over to him.

Instead he stood there looking at me,not moving or saying a word.

And why are you staring at me like that get to work,I shouted.

Sir,I actually don't know how to read properly,so it will be difficult for me to go through it and tell you the content..

I was shocked,are you this stupid and useless, you can't read and I hired you as my fucking bodyguard.

You know what,you are fired

Now get out of my office,as he was about leaving I stopped him..

You know what,I won't fire you but don't expect me to pay you for this month,I won't'

Now leave my presence and tell the driver to get the car ready, I want to go home .

He then nodded turned around and left.

I scattered all the files on the floor took my briefcase and left the office,I need to get home and rest..

My strength is failing me gradually..

ALISHA (POV).

The lecture ended,I told Christina goodbye and left the school to the restaurant..

I entered the restaurant and saw the place crowded with people,I rushed to the changing room to change just then the boss entered.

Alisha,you will have to go home and come back tommorow,one of the girls is using your position today because she won't be available tomorrow,so you will take her place, I couldn't say anything but just kept on looking at her, she should have called to inform me rather than allowing me come here, with that I just nodded took my bag and left the restaurant.

Can life get anymore better,I thought as I walk on the street,the road was busy with alot of people doing there daily business.

I thought about my mum and brother but all I did was smile, because at least we are still together and living happily.

I was so lost in thought not minding to look at the road before trying to cross,and I was almost knocked down by a car, due to the shock I fainted not knowing what happened next

Who owns the car that almost knocked Alisha?
